This is beautiful! Three sided bowl 👍👍👌
Hey thanks so much and thanks for watching! Have a great weekend!, Michael
Beautiful piece. It's amazing from a sguare shape to random patterns coming out after it's done 👍
That's a really nice three-sided bowl you made, and it has an impressive shine to it. Cheers, Hans
Stay safe and keep turning
Thanks! A bit of buffing wax will always do the trick; cheers and thanks for watching!
Such a cool piece!! Must have taken weeks to glue up that blank too! 😂 Still on my ever growing list of stuff to turn. Great job, thanks for sharing 👏👏
the glue-up wasn't that bad, just a few minutes here and there and here and there......thanks for commenting. Cheers!
You are so wonderful, wish you a new day full of joy and happiness. Always accompany and develop with you like9
Hi ray nice project. Just came across your channel. How are you liking the 1524? You still happy with it?
Overall, I am very happy with the 1524. The fit and finish are fantastic. I’m in the middle of turning a green ash bowl that was at full capacity for this lathe, about 15x10 inches and weighed a ton. I knew going in the legs seemed a bit under weight so I added a plywood box/counter weight to the legs that hold about 200lbs in sand and that works great to stabilize the lathe while rough turning something large to a balanced blank. The horsepower of a 110 motor can be an issue but with regular sharpen tools it’s been fine for me. Eventually I will get a tool review video posted but for now I’d buy it again for sure.
@@SapperWoodworking Thank you Ray for the reply! I will watch for the video
Pretty! Woah! 550 pieces individually glued together... thats awesome! Mustve taken a long time to glue those tiny pieces together! Beautiful piece, very impressive. To many more 3 sided bowls!
Awesome! It might have been 555 pieces. Either way it was a fun project and the better half likes it as well
