You can use ChatGPT as a research assistant tool helping you to conduct your study. You can use the following ChatGPT, Claude.ai, perplexity.ai and Hugging chat (huggingface.co/chat/)
You don't have to pay. GPT 4o is now free to use. In terms of uploading documents, you can upload up to 10 documents at a time. To get around it, you can put all the 20 document in a zip file and upload the zip file into ChatGPT for analysis.
Interesting but i am still very disappointed as "my" chatgpt does not produce any graphs ... or similar, I can not download any powerpoint it says it produces
Are you using GPT 4o, the newest model? In terms of the PowerPoint slides, you are not alone. It sometimes happens to me. You could ask it to just provide you the content of the slides and you then copy the content and go to www.gamma.app to develop the slides.

Whenever I upload a PDF document using the upload and ask feature, it does not recognise the document. Do I have to purchase these features separately?
You're welcome! I had similar experience. I asked it to generate a word cloud for me but it just provided me to links I can use to create it (www.wordclouds.com/ and wordart.com/). I'm not sure why it not creating word cloud no more. You could try using the suggested links to create it.
