    Hey Dude & Dudette. I like the different colors on each one.

    That echinoid is cool. Normally I would assume "Goniophorus" given your proximity to the Duck Creek Formation stuff but it looks more like a baby Cidarid type like a "Phyllacanthus". Clean it up and put in the next video. Also post a pic to Dallas Paleo.

      I'll see what I can do on the clean up. Fossils in the particular grey matrix are temperamental. Thanks Lance!

    Oh my stars! Just found your channel and subscribed, Thank you Jesus! Your specimens are stunning. I saw another little flat one similar to yours. She said it was related, but a different species. Will see if I can track that video down.
    What fun!🎉🎊I would absolutely love to go with you &Dudette in 4-6 weeks. Does it cost? What all would I need to bring. I am in east Texas. Where about are you guys located? What kind of fossils do you gather?
    Let me know what info you need! You both are such blessings to us!🙏🙌🌻🤗🔊

    I would love to go with ya some time soon. I even have a battery powered rotary hammer to get to those really tough ones. It would be a good video as well to add to my channel with a shout out to yours of course lol

    I came across your channel and it’s amazing. I saw where you said you take people out with and my wife and I would love to join you. Are there set dates you do this on? We are actually in Dallas in a couple of weeks
    Cheers

    What city are you in? We are in Garland. Our 9 year old aspiring Paleontologist wants to find an ammonite!

      I live in Royse City, but we hunt a lot west and north of Fort Worth.

    How much are ammonites usually sold for?
    Like average per kg?

    • @northtexasfossildude
      @northtexasfossildude  7 місяців тому

      Depends on the species and quality. Not really a weight price. More common and easy to prep are cheaper. Thanks for watching!

    How many fossils do you have in your collection?

    • @northtexasfossildude

      Well, last time I counted my displays, it was over 1,000 ammonites. That's the total piece. If I add what I have found since then and everything else, I would guess close to 2,000. I have given thousands away also.
