I wonder if K’ey can sense Sherpa’s limitations on running, chasing and frolicking these days. His excitement at hearing Sherpa is coming and at seeing him is so dear. Their bond is tight no matter what! ❤️💙💚
I definitely think he can. They used to straight up tackle each other, but for the past few months, he has been a lot more gentle around him. A lot of the current interactions between them in the park almost look like Key just showing off his speed and tricks to his chill, big brother. 😊❤
I am tearing up a bit after reading your comment. It's just that dogs live so little, they deserve so much more time. I had several dogs and all of them are gone already. :(
Key believes it's Mother Nature that's tooting up a storm. Once Sherpa locates Jamie, it's back to napping, secure in the fact that all is well in the world. 😊💕🐾

I hope Nan watches the videos of Sherpa missing her when she’s not there. The look on Key’s face when you say “Sherpa” is priceless. He really loves his old pal. It’s sweet how gentle Key can be with him. Poor Sherpa was lost without Jamie, but as soon as he saw him, back to his nap. These two are a joy to watch. Poor Sherpa! Father Time seems to be catching up on him, as it does with all of us. He still has some good days where he's just like the Sherpa we all know & love!❤ Thank God he has such as great friend as Key! Sherpa was there to help Key learn the ropes when he was a young adult and Key was just a pup. Now, it's Key's turn to return the favour by keeping a watchful eye on his old friend!

He wakes up from a short nap, doesn't see Jamie, then falls back to sleep. Sherpa knew he was safe, and Jamie would wake him to go home.
