Wouldn't change anything tbh, the 13900K and 14900K are identical CPUs, it's the exact same chip. If you have a good bin 13900K, it can do 6Ghz+ anyway and have the exact same limits on RAM overclocking on an Apex board, which is 8800 CL 38 or so. Even the 14900KS can't get higher than that, it's the same CPU, just a higher chance of getting a better bin since they bin them. Many people on OCN have absurd 13900K chips that even beat 14900KS chips.
@@FrozburnYT I was only wondering how much of an increase a 14900K paired with a 4090 would be with DLSS 3 and Frame-gen on FPS-wise. I just find calls of "under-optimized!" so sad simply bc new-gen exclusive games have trouble reaching triple digit FPS even with upscaling.
@@CLHSbandgeek The FPS definitely needs some improvements. I'm sure they'll sort it out later, unfortunately many games launch like this these days. But ye like I mentioned, there would be no difference between the 13900K and 14900K - especially in 4K and if you manually overclock (not relying on your CPU to boost to X speed)
Hey, is you RTX 4090 watercooled? Also, do you recommend using a PTM7950 thermal pad/paste between the die and the GPU block? I'm currently rocking an RTX 3090 Ti and was wondering if it'd be better than the MX-4 I currently have on. Thanks in advance!
Not using a waterblock on the GPU. I have no experience with PTM7950 on a watercooled card, but I am using it on this card on air. It should work fine on water, you just need to let it heat up many times so it reaches its full potential.
None. I'm using manual voltages since launch and haven't updated my BIOS since 2023. They probably broke something with the BIOS updates later and the CPU degraded because of it. Who knows.

If you compare STALKER with STALKER 2 textures you don't really see such a huge difference. So for a small amount of polished textures you need to spent a decent 3-4k for a gaming PC, which is ridiculous. @@TECHNOARMOUR I am not sure where you've been for the past month, but the whole internet community is stating it isn't. as for the stalker 2. it is a nice game, rather a sequel of the previous series tho, than a separate title. some of the stuttering and environment which is rendered on the go, like around 6:43 in this clip. is a major threat to a gameplay immersion. this is extremely distracting and immediately reminds you that you are in an artificial fake game world. this goes completely against what the devs have been trying to do so far and namely to bring a hyper-immerisve atmosphere, like the red poppy field, many items like boxes and Nikolaich hospital closet with meds, are so real that your brain immediately completes a full picture as if they were nearby.
Guess companies just straight up dont care about any form of optimization anymore
It’s called Frame Generation. Devs are aiming for fake 60fps now for their target metric
UE5 makes the development of beautiful games much easier, but with performance hit.
it has 123fps at 4k resolution ,its perfectly optimized maybe sometimes blame yourself rather than the devs
