When I was in the military, I was held back from promotion because I had a bachelors degree. My superiors felt that because I had a bachelors degree I had an unfair advantage of over the other people who were going up for Chief Petty Officer. By the way, I’m a woman. I also carried a third officer license in the US merchant marine the position I was going up for a non-commissioned officers position. Because I had a background that I worked hard for it was unfair.

When I was in the military, I was held back from promotion because I had a bachelors degree. My superiors felt that because I had a bachelors degree I had an unfair advantage of over the other people who were going up for Chief Petty Officer. By the way, I’m a woman. I also carried a third officer license in the US merchant marine the position I was going up for a non-commissioned officers position. Because I had a background that I worked hard for it was unfair.
Mrs Rice, one great American, reminding us that there are still great people alive in the USA.
