Depends a lot, but I would say 2-3k€ if you have hybrid turbos and 3-4k€ with aftermarket turbos. Also, thats only the performance mods. The chassis, brakes and tires cost too.

0 - 100 km/h is very good. 4s flat and it also had wheelspin, and RWD with 1000 Nm torque. Besides, 0 - 100 km/h is not so important as amateurs try to make it look. True races are with rolling start to eliminate exactly the drawbacks of starting from a dig, i.e. traction, driver reaction, driver input (if manual etc.). Therefore, look for 100 - 200 km/h times, or 50 -150 km/h times etc.
For only 500hp this thing is very fast. 4s 0-100 might not be impressive for 500hp but 7s 100-200 is, for example a bmw m6 with a 560hp 4.4 twin turbo v8 does 100-200 in 8s and that's petrol and i believe that the m6 also has a better gearbox.
@@katzehvh yea sometimes i forget how important torque is. People only look at the hp and don't care about torque like it didn't matter but most of the time you can't really feel the torque cuz it's more noticable in cars with a lof of power. When you have like a 100hp vw it doesn't matter if it's diesel or petrol in terms of speed but when you have a moded diesel bmw vs an m one it does make a difference.

Theres no way this has 500hp, you should be doing a 1/4 mile of around 11 flat close or close to 10s. Mine is BRR tuned with regular deletes/mods and i run a 11.3 with 400hp..
I don’t think you’re talking about same disciplines. I’m measuring 0-402m and the car is rwd only, 140i can make 6sec 100-200 but 0-402m will be around high 10s or 11.0

Yes, cast iron. E90 diesels prior to 2008 had M47 engine, i.e. from cast iron.

quick for old diesel. Slow for the tune and power. Stock 330hp E400d and E450d 370hp is faster, and weigth lot more
