Naples is one of those cities that you either get or you don’t. You either love it or you really don’t like it. Every city has areas that are less attractive than others, but if you take the time to really see Napoli, it’s so beautiful, it’s other worldly. It’s not the refined, polite looking city on surface level that you get in other parts of the country. Italy does have plenty of places that are like that, and if that’s your vibe, you probably would have been happier in the North. (Verona, Bergamo and Bologna are particularly beautiful in that way) Each city in Italy has its own personality. Naples is the wild one. The rebel. Yes, there is graffiti etc, but its suits it. Think of the graffiti as the city having tattoos sleeves. It’s part of it’s make-up However when you look past that, you will see some of the most beautiful architecture on the planet, a skyline that can can never be forgotten, and historical sites that are so beautiful and so rich in stories that you will be talking about them for years. It’s also has the friendliest people you could ever meet and a vibe that cannot be equalled. Not to mention the amazing food and exquisite coffee! I hope you give it, or at least Italy another chance one day 💙 ….but on separate note, is it possible that you could put Gabriel or Hugo up for download when the challenge is over ? Xx
Asking if apartments were patched into base game was a little too much to expect from the Sims 4 unfortunately. They do have multiple packs where they're included, but the only way to get them in any world other than the city world/eco lifestyle world is to get the For Rent pack and download them from the gallery or build them yourself. I wish they came in more of the worlds than they did, though.
As an Italian simmer that watches your livestreams, I can say that I understand your experience in Naples even though I've never been there. Regarding the trash it could honestly be that you stayed or visited some of the dirtiest roads and didn't really notice or see the parts that could have been more "welcoming" of the city, not sure about that though. What I really wanted to say is that (and this can be applied to a lot of countries) Naples itself is not a good measurement of how good Italy can be; it's respectable that you base your opinion on the one thing you've been to and visited so it's fair, but trust me, all parts of Italy are very different and diverse from each other, starting from the north, to the center and then ultimately the south. At the end of the day, Italy goes from the Alps to Sicily, and you can find quite a lot in between, starting from the "better" to the trash. Apart from all of that, I wish happy simming to all of you, and sorry for any errors.
I'm English but I'm from the South Coast so used to milder weather. I went on a weekend trip to the Midlands (not even the north) and it was minus 3 Celsius all day, I was COLD. I had to make up a whisky canteen to warm myself up when sight seeing 😅 delicate southern flower that I am ahahhh
