Or is it all a big trick, like in the Koenigsegg CC850 where somehow the six speed manual becomes a nine-speed auto when you put it in auto mode? After some nervous gate rattling, they kindly let me in and I was able to take a tour. It was an incredible place. Humble (relative to the cars it produced), purposeful, and innovative. In their small show room, there was a small, mirrored plaque that was hung near a door that read "it has been for us a complicated search for simple solutions". I love how easy 3rd and 4th are on a regular 6 speed box because it lines up with the neutral position. I guess you need to be fully awake and concentrating when driving something like this.
Love it! I love the combination of the previous 2 models (both will be/are timeless designs). With only their 3rd model this feels like our first glimpse at their design language moving forward. They will always harken to their past refine and keep what works! No need to design a totally new idea/car when the previous 2 worked so well! So happy this is gorgeous. Especially the rear third!
@@apolloarts5412 first of all. Don't trash someone's opinion which is solely based on taste. Second, the guy is right. @@michaelgakanga Exactly my thoughts. I wasn’t really blown away when I first saw it but I don’t really like the color either. The leaked design which was a very light blue and the full carbon one that also was unveiled already look a lot better. The design will evolve eventually like every other Pagani model in the past and we will be left wondering how we ever thought the car looked ugly
It's not a Pagani in my eyes, this is a impostor. Paganini I have always liked for there timeless, and "beauty in simplicity" designs. This on the other hand is a edgy, over engineered, modernist design with a Pagani engine.
With everything Tim has done/seen these past 2 months. I don't know how he is mentally handling this. My head would explode from all the crazy things he got to do or see.
It is a beautiful car in regards to what it represents to Mr. Pagani's vision for the project. Also, it looks far more stunning in-person than in press release pictures present it.
I agree the Utopia is a bit busy in the front, but I fully expect future performance models to fix this with more aggressive aero. The proportions are gorgeous.
Pagani is my favourite car make hands down. Having said that this has to be the worst design in the Pagani lineage. I still think this is a great car but it’s just not pulling at the heart strings like the models that came before. It’s good to see so many elements from the jaw dropping zonda… there’s that I suppose.
Finally....modern exotic car manufacturers realize that there's a HUGE void in the supercar market for enthusiasts who WANT a driver's car. It's refreshing to see this car and Koenigsegg's Jesco being introduced this year!
Whilst I love it, it's no great leap forward from its predecessor in my honest opinion. Maybe that's part of the charm though? Needless to say that every unit will still be pre-sold. Great review as always, Tim. Time you treated yourself to a holiday, minus a camera.
@@tommeiner9983 you could argue Pagani is, but not the utopia. If you told me the Huayra was a newer car, I'd believe you. But who knows, it might grow on me
@@tommeiner9983 I'm just saying the design doesn't strike me. It's a mix between the zonda and the Huayra and I do find that interesting, if it were a limited edition model of only 5 or 10 for example. But to have this as the successor to the Huayra just doesn't sit right with me. The Huayra is a beautiful car and I feel like its successor should've been even better, and I know that they could because they have created some beautiful cars in the past. It might also be the launch color that isn't all that great and I'm sure some body panels and parts might change as well.
Lamborghini: 12 new models in the last 11 years. Pagani: 1 new model. I think this says it all about the actual dedication and effort in creating a new model.
Like the Zonda & Huayra, this is yet another beautiful work of art. BTW, although my chances of owning one of these are pretty slim, I still would like to thank Horacio Pagani for the three-pedal option. Well done.
I don't know why a lot of people don't like it, I find it to be one of the looking coolest new hypercars. So many hypercars are starting to look the same. I like that it seems to have some classic almost Art Nouveau styling mixed in modern lines.
I think it's problem is the paint , EVERYTHING is body colored, it looks like a white blob , their is no contrast, it will probably look better in black

@@apolloarts5412 first of all. Don't trash someone's opinion which is solely based on taste. Second, the guy is right. Even the original Huayra looked worse than the Zonda until we got used to it, and they brought out the tempesta package.
2 years down the line, when this car looks like a 60's le mans race car, we'll look back and wonder what we were thinking
@@michaelgakanga Don't trash someone's opinion.
I cant stop watching this video, THANKS!!!
It is a beautiful car in regards to what it represents to Mr. Pagani's vision for the project. Also, it looks far more stunning in-person than in press release pictures present it.
Horacio really knows how to captivate enthousiasts. A manual V12 is about the last thing I expected in 2022.
Manual is slow. This is just a re badged huayra.
Anything but simplicity not
I agree the Utopia is a bit busy in the front, but I fully expect future performance models to fix this with more aggressive aero. The proportions are gorgeous.
Mitsuoka Orochi: Once you see it, you will never unsee it. This is not one of Horatio's finest moments.
The design screams 90´s but modernized, lovely piece
Try 50s
80s exterior ( check Peugeot Quasar from the 80s ) with 70s interior
Looks a bit like the Mitsuoka Orochi...🤭
I thought pagani was done with the hideous designs after the release of the monstrosity called cowabunga but boy I was wrong
Tim, you take your passion to another level. When you mix passion with dedication and discipline, it equals to success. I admire your dedication.
Pagani is my favourite car make hands down. Having said that this has to be the worst design in the Pagani lineage. I still think this is a great car but it’s just not pulling at the heart strings like the models that came before.
It’s good to see so many elements from the jaw dropping zonda… there’s that I suppose.
The last two models (this one and the longtail one) are disappointing imo.
Give it time ,,,,,Its pure genius
It looked like a Japanese got creative and slapped on a body kit over the Huayra. That's what it look like. In the end it's just another Huayra.
I think we need to see different specs. Too much white and not enough accents
the carbon version looks badass 💪💪
Man Tim, nobody pumps out insane car content like you ✊✊ you’re a damn legend
I love how it comes with a manual, I hope more sports cars will take this example and stop putting those boring paddles...
Finally....modern exotic car manufacturers realize that there's a HUGE void in the supercar market for enthusiasts who WANT a driver's car. It's refreshing to see this car and Koenigsegg's Jesco being introduced this year!
Exactly what I hoped it to be and more, work of art on wheels as per usual by Pagani, cheers for the video tim
The curves on this car are stunning. I think in the right spec, this will really shine. The launch color I don't feel does it as much as justice.
What a very beautiful car. I heard someone say it yesterday and it's true,we are in the golden age of car's.
.. this is the art. Mr. Horatio Pagani is a "da vinci of car design" for me.. Congratulations 🎊 Beautiful and speechless.
Absolutely staggering design, incredible attention to detail 👏. Pagani have created another masterpiece.
Re badged Huayra
You always do an amazing job at introducing cars Tim. Big love & kindest regards, Richard U.K
For some reason I feel like I want to order a burger and fries from a drive-in diner after seeing the interior. Beautiful.
The lines down the side make it look like a cloud in motion. Incredible work of art.
This car will always look beautiful 👏🏼
What a design 👌🏼
I think that this is the worst looking car ever made in last 20 years
a very ugly design
It is... acceptable...
Whilst I love it, it's no great leap forward from its predecessor in my honest opinion. Maybe that's part of the charm though? Needless to say that every unit will still be pre-sold. Great review as always, Tim. Time you treated yourself to a holiday, minus a camera.
It's not an evolution from the Huayra imo. I was expecting more
@@intellect4840 What were you expecting? It's already the pinnacle of car making.
@@tommeiner9983 you could argue Pagani is, but not the utopia. If you told me the Huayra was a newer car, I'd believe you. But who knows, it might grow on me
@@intellect4840 Well it's not like anything important has really changed since since the Huayra came out.
This car is the definition of a piece of art and design, it takes passion and love for real art to understand how beautifully designed this car is
Lamborghini: 12 new models in the last 11 years. Pagani: 1 new model. I think this says it all about the actual dedication and effort in creating a new model.
What a work of art and fantastic evolution of Huayra design 😍😍😍
Like the Zonda & Huayra, this is yet another beautiful work of art. BTW, although my chances of owning one of these are pretty slim, I still would like to thank Horacio Pagani for the three-pedal option. Well done.
What a gorgeous car. Masterfully done Pagani!
This screams "TIMELESS LUXURY"! This would be the patek philippe of the watch world!
Happy to see manufacturers coming out with a manual. I hope the other traditional supercar brands revive the manual option in their lineup.
They'll be bringing one out which is pulled by a horse next..
Keep hoping mate lol cos it ain't happening
Exterior is 1 step forward, the interior however is 2 steps back.
Another piece of art from Pagani 👀❤
I don't know why a lot of people don't like it, I find it to be one of the looking coolest new hypercars. So many hypercars are starting to look the same. I like that it seems to have some classic almost Art Nouveau styling mixed in modern lines.
I think it's problem is the paint , EVERYTHING is body colored, it looks like a white blob , their is no contrast, it will probably look better in black
I just love it. Incredible design, Love the car. Insane shape, curves & wheels. Love the Gears being exposed in the dashboard. Exposed manual shifter is just awesome.
I think that this is the worst looking car ever made in last 20 years

Bugattis have become absolutely beautiful while the paganis have become absolutely hideous.
Shmee this is without a doubt the best video automobilistico I have seen from you. Bravo Campione Shmee 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼! Bravo Horacio! ❤️
Another piece of art in the automobile industry, finally a car that is special and looks so too.
Not like Bugatti and Koenigsegg that are putting out 1 model per year that all look the same.
It's not always about speed and hp but about the art of design and the pleasure of driving such a car.
The best-looking Pagani ever IMO. Absolute perfection.
Your on drugs
NGL this car looks it it should’ve came out 10+ years ago it has that old school feel especially when compared to original Huayra
Its too much goin on but its alright
This Pagani model is truly what dreams are made of,
Horacio with this one create SOUL for every one love cars...
I’m……speechless 😦, a true masterpiece on wheels, bravo 👏🏻 bravo 👏🏻 I say 🙇🏻♂️. As always Tim, a brilliant introduction video.
Honestly this is the most beautiful Hypercar I ever seen!
This isn't a car. It's an art expression. So many beautiful details! Stunning.
Horacio Pagani has created a design masterpiece. This is the best looking Pagani. The roads don't deserve a Car like this to be driven upon them. It should just be parked, and gazed upon.
This is absolutely stunning! Simplicity working beautifully! I'm having this over any car at the moment.
"Simplicity?" Tf are you on about? The car's design is busier than Manhattan at 12. It's over-designed. Nothing simple about it.
@@Kronos0999 Not at all. Look at the interior. All analogue! A departure from the digital vista that we see in so many cars. The outside! A timeless Porchesque type front. Take a look at some of its rivals in the segment. Your talking rubbish! You haven't a clue!
@@johnfinnerty4243 Nah, he´s totally right. You just gotta look at the predecessors and you´d know that by yourself. I don´t really know what they did with that thing. Looks horrid.
@@Kronos0999 Gotta agree, this also kind of looks like a huayra with different headlights. From the recently unveiled cars the CC850 is a good example of simplicity imo.
@@MrPHILFULL .. Paganis are not everyone's cup of tea. They have a unique style unlike any other. That doesn't necessarily make them unpalatable! In terms of simplicity, particularly in the interior, The Utopia is streets behind some of its rivals. You are just not taken in by the optics and that's fair enough. Beauty and the eye of the beholder and all that. More broadly I think it's people who just don't like Pangani's full stop rather than just disliking the Utopia that will weigh in here with their disapproval.
