Your family hit the jackpot when Holly selected you as her people. She is a delight. Amazing how she nonchalantly hops into her spot on the scooter. Kayak, too.
Between Carlo saying that you “think like people who don’t understand”, and Lucas saying “Why do you want the plant to die?” this is by far my favorite video. The way you look at the camera, with complete incredulity! I am an American Expat who has lived here in Kyoto, Japan, for 25 years, my Japanese husband and I have a teenage daughter, and I totally get it! Kudos to you and your lovely family!
Italian men like flowers...period....even the half Italian ones like my family. : ) Watching Carlo and Lucca in the garden reminds me of my elderly relatives. Such nice memories of people who are all gone now. Thank you.
Indeed they do, my Italian friend brought her parents on a vacation to Seattle. At the end of the trip her Fathers favorite thing was the Butchart Gardens we visited in Victoria Canada. I loved that answer
Such a relaxing vlog Nicki, lovely to see Skye doing something filming and enjoying life....a starfish wow! ⭐️ Carlo and Luca so funny together, you suggest something but as usual men want to make the decision! Can you interview Luca we see him all the time would love to know more about him. What I would give to be in Positano right now...🌞😎💕
Thank you sharing your life and the beautiful coastline with us! I live at the Oregon coast and love it here. I also love the large translation subtitles! I can see them without glasses.
Oooooo I was a bit shocked when the video finished, I was so entranced, I’m not feeling it today didn’t want to get up, don’t want to scroll through instagram with my morning cuppa! So, thank you for taking me away to positano even if it did finish too soon for my revelry 🤗 have a good day, I’m off for a walk in the woods in the rain.
I had the same experience with packages when I lived in Italy 15 years ago. My birthday presents didn't arrive in Modena. Only when we payed expensive insurance. Love your videos very much :)
Luca is so sweet. Actually I just got some purple basil seeds to plant, they are lovely. Your garden is great. Loved walking around looking at the gardens when I was there. ❤
Watching your videos is never a waste of time for me. Sky is absolut beautiful and Holly a bundle of joy . Thank you Nicki , i wish you a wonderful Summer, health and happiness 💖 🌼 . Greetings from Germany
Interesting about the Italian Post office - had the same problem with the Italian post office 40 yrears ago, and also 30 years ago - never get our packages from other countries - some things never change.
I had to laugh you have to love Carlo ... I understood the comment at the scene with deciding where to put the plant...I hear it all the time with my parents..lol
Where I live now in Canada we can't grow roses they die over the winter months love roses yours are stunning... another beautiful video ...nice to see Skye showing us her day
Make sure your new purple basil gets 3-4 hours of sun and then it can have some shade the rest of the time. I have this new Lemon Verbena plant, the leaves can be used for tea, and the flavor is like you are using lemon zest. It smells wonderful. I so enjoy getting to see what you all do in the gardens. Enjoy the rest of the week.
Skye-cam is back! :D Hydrangeas are my passion. We just bought 12 big pots of them this season. One glimpse of your beautiful garden will brighten the day for sure.. My husband has learned - after 25 years of marriage - that anything planted where I thought it should go... can be moved if it doesn't look as I thought it would.. ROFL... :D
Another inspiring vlog, thank you. We were both saying that it's good to see Skye contributing to these videos and seeing things from her point of view. Well done!
Before our first trip to Italy we watched alot of Nikki,s videos and decided that we wanted to go to Bar Del sole during our stay in Praiano. Turned out to be our favorite place to hang out. We have been back to Italy and made sure to visit Praiano again because of Bar Del Sole. It was great to see it in your latest video. Thanks Nikki
Hello from San Diego! Love your videos Nicki! Your family is adorable and so are your fur babies ❤️. I enjoy my morning with a cup of coffee and your experiences in Positano 😁.
Good morning from Dallas, Texas! Nicki, the footage you share is always so beautiful and interesting. The plant nursery with the hydrangeas was breathtaking and got me thinking about the way people grow all of the different things in your area. In your intro, you mention olive groves and have shared that you received olive oil as a gift. I think it would be interesting to see an olive grove and the process of growing and reaping the olives, maybe as far as making the olive oil. The underpinning for the lemon tree you have is interesting too. Hmmm, now I'm thinking about limoncello. Haha! Maybe you could tell people to send things to your Dad's house with the understanding that it could be awhile before you could go to get it. It's a shame about the post. I never like when your videos end, thanks for sharing and thanks Skye for taking us with you too!
Hi there. Have you ever made zucchini soup? It's delicious and it helps to use up the abundance of zucchini that you get all at one time in the summer. It's normally made with cucuzza which is a Sicilian squash (you probably already know that). Since we don't have seeds for it anymore, I substituted zucchini and it's still very good. It also cooks very fast so it's good for a quick lunch. I used: zucchini, garlic, onion, celery, canned tomatoes (fresh would likely be fine too), chicken broth, sweet basil, salt and pepper. I usually drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil in it too. My grandmother never used the chicken stock (or possibly the celery?), and her soup was fabulous. I just like it with both because it adds flavor.
You have such a beautiful Family I absolutely love all of your videos I dont have too much money for patreon but will always watch through any ads to make sure you do!💕
I liked it before I watched the new vlog, because I already knew it’s going to be a good one again. I’m so in love with your channel Nicky. It’s feels like I’m living in Positano through you. :-)
Interesting about the post. Many sellers on eBay have been refusing to send to Italy for a number of years now due to the frequent problems with delivery. There is definitely something wrong, and the postage costs from Italy seem to be huge too compared to the UK for the same thing.
Carlo: Where do you want to put this plant? Nicki: Here. Carlo: No, it doesn’t look good there. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.......so funny! Love your videos! Thank you!
Regarding the Italian Postal Service - we live in Sicily and in the past have had many packages sent from the States that make it to Italy, but never arrive at our home. We get the same indifferent response every time. We use either FEDEX or UPS these days. More expensive, but at least our packages DO arrive.
Finally able to sit down and finish watching! I'm probably the one who noticed this, but who maintains the pretty flowers on the walls. I noticed it as you were riding to Priano. Also, the steps down to the main Amalfi coast road and to the beach - are they for the public access as well? Just stunning views as you were driving along!
Your flowers garden is gorgeous. Thank you for bringing me back to Positano over and over again. I can't wait to go back. I have a little story; Since my daughter who is 23 now was about 17 she knew that she wanted to get married in Positano, she has an image board where she has pictures of weddings in Positano now she also added your picture LOL. to be her makeup artist. All she needs now is to find the boyfriend LOL. She has never been there, we are planning to have a girls trip next June.
My packages always arrive here in Miami, but I would trade that in a heartbeat to call Italy my home.I have visited a few times and it is a country that I adore. My girlfriend is from Matera and I,hopefully, will be visiting Basilicata and Sicilia in September.
love your videos! 👌🏼 italy is my favorite place.. had no time last time to go to Amalfi coast...but definitely next trip. will move to Italy tomorrow if i could.... keep it up 👍🏼
Hi Nicki, I just discovered your channel and have binged watched for 2 days straight. I really love your content as it’s always been a dream to live ‘la dolce vita’ on the Amalfi Coast. I was in Sorrento last October but unfortunately broke my elbow and sprained my ankle in our hotel within the hour of arriving. I spent our 3 days in the hotel to recover and didn’t get to see anything. I was devastated! Nevertheless I know I will return and stay even longer to discover this beautiful part of Italy. Watching your channel has been such a joy!
Thanks for taking us along again, another beautiful video, making us feel we’re with you! And Skye as well, enjoyed their trip to the beach! How long are your daylight hours? We are in the long part of our days....doesn’t get dark til around 10:30pm, then daylight starts peeking out around 5am! But I love it! Makes up for the looooong dreary, dark, cold winters here! Little Leni is just amazing that she can speak so many languages at her age! I love that!! I’m struggling to learn some Italian before we come, lol! Sorry about your packages, maybe I can bring something for you when we come, hopefully this October!! 🤞 😍
Sadly the issue of non-delivered packages is now borderless. I live in Vienna and can no longer count the number of packages somehow "lost in transit" to sticky fingers in the Austrian postal system. So if it makes you feel any better, it's not just an Italian problem.

Love your videos, your garden is beautiful...ive been enjoying my garden more this year since lockdown and growing tomatoes but they struggle as its so cold at the moment..wearing jumpers in June 😨😨😨
I know that situation. There is my time and the partners time. The veg looks lovely. In Japan we have green shiso and red shiso. Japanese basil but also called perrila. Makes lovely tempura.
Ah Praiano! Spent some time there many years ago with my Italian boyfriend. I am sure that Elisabeth knows my friend Beate who lives in Praiano and for a long time in America. Want to move to Praiano, una piccola cas!😊❤️🕺🏻
i stumbled upon your website when i looked up ischia and i am so delighted i did !!! love your videos they are so peaceful and beautiful and love seeing the coast ! especially love your cute little dog!! wow the pizza looks so delish!! this would be our first time in italy do you think 3 days will be enough in ischia???
I want a Luca in my yard. Love how gently he places plants. Green thumbs for sure. What a lovely man
honestly between luca and carlo, nicki really picked the right family to marry into! they all make such a wonderful team.
Your family hit the jackpot when Holly selected you as her people. She is a delight. Amazing how she nonchalantly hops into her spot on the scooter. Kayak, too.
Holly is amazing in her love and trust for Niki and Carlo and their affection and love for her.
Luca is a sweetheart. I liked how he wanted to save that plant he re-planted.
I love how Holly hops on the scooter with you guys. Your garden is just gorgeous!
So cute, she is doing it on her own right away, nobady has to tell her.
She knows her routine 😉🙊
Italian men like flowers...period....even the half Italian ones like my family. : ) Watching Carlo and Lucca in the garden reminds me of my elderly relatives. Such nice memories of people who are all gone now. Thank you.

I found you through the 2 Orchids channel. When I watch your videos I can feel my mind and body go into relaxation mode.
Wow, thank you
My favorite video yet...love hydrangeas and roses. Carlo is so funny asking where you want the plants, but disagreed on your spot each time. 😄
typical neapolitan man always pushing their weight around. Stay as sweet as you are Nici
Ha ha I also thought it was funny. My husband moves my plants as well.😁
Such a relaxing vlog Nicki, lovely to see Skye doing something filming and enjoying life....a starfish wow! ⭐️ Carlo and Luca so funny together, you suggest something but as usual men want to make the decision! Si piu di Luca!

Your garden is an absolute joy on a rainy, cold Devon morning.
All of you are a credit to yourselves,What you do and create,Amazing x
I had the same experience with packages when I lived in Italy 15 years ago. My birthday presents didn't arrive in Modena. Only when we payed expensive insurance. Love your videos very much :)

Loved the beautiful flowers, seeing Skye and Leni on again, and the ice cream at the end! Your videos are so much fun to watch!
Thanks so much! 😊
Glad to se your subscriber numbers rising nicely Nicky.
Even more so when we all arrive in Positano at the same time, as the darn tourist group! hahahaha........

i have purple basil too! water it well. my shrivelled up when i planted it but i think it was more the cold then the lack of water.
Another inspiring vlog, thank you. We were both saying that it's good to see Skye contributing to these videos and seeing things from her point of view. Well done!
Your discussion of the placement of plants reminds me of my BF and me, even today. Both passionate about growing.

The flowers are gorgeous!!!! Your daughter is so beautiful and the beach 🏝 looks so relaxing. The whole town looks beautiful. 🤗🤗🤗🌺💐🌸❤️

Hello from San Diego! Love your videos Nicki! Your family is adorable and so are your fur babies ❤️. I enjoy my morning with a cup of coffee and your experiences in Positano 😁.

I make zucchini and pea soup a lot in the winter, not so much in the summer!
Fab video as usual. You set me up for my day ahead. You motivate me & fill me with joy. 💖 xx
Just discovered your channel my parents are from Avellino!! Still have relatives still living there🥰.
Thank you Nicki lovely content Absolutely good and entertaining.
Stay safe Lady. 😊

the steps are public, the flowers are looked after by the local council
Keep calm and water your garden haha! =P Thanks for the video!
If i was there (which i would be if covid wasnt around) i would be on Carlos time. He is my spirit manimal 👍
Amazing video, great views! ❤️❤️❤️

I can relate with the “postal” frustration. I live in South Africa and the post office also “ loses” everything 🤬😡
“porco d…” l’hai detto Carlo!! sei uno di noi!!!!😂😂😂
Nicki, have you watch Monty Don's Italian Gardens? OMG , paradises on earth !
The flowers are so beautiful🌺🌺🌺

Another lovely video. Everything in flower is so beautiful. We recently just replanted some garden beds around our acreage.
Sadly the issue of non-delivered packages is now borderless. I live in Vienna and can no longer count the number of packages somehow "lost in transit" to sticky fingers in the Austrian postal system. So if it makes you feel any better, it's not just an Italian problem.
thanks!
🙏🏻💕 In love with Holly 🐾🦴
I love watching holly
Hi Nicki,
I have just found your videos and the only thing I do is to watch them all day long. I am so in love with the life in Positano and my dream is one day to come and visit that gorgeous place.
I just want to give you a very small advice ,no intention of being smart or rude,I just feel uncomfortable while you explain the exact spot where you live. There is so weirdness in this world and you never know who may be interested on that information you offered about the location of your house. Please, be careful I have heard some really creepy stories out there.
And please neveeeeer stop the videos, we who live in Scandinavian countries get some much hope and inspiration from this Mediterranean beauty.
Thank you for offering us such pleasure through those views. Very grateful 🙏❤
Carlo buys a plant, doesn’t know what it’s called ! Luv it 🥴😄
I know I'm stupid Hahah!
Hi Nicki, I found your channel a few months ago and it's been so nice seeing all the beautiful scenery in Positano while dealing with lockdown. So thanks for the cheerful diversion! I was wondering about your lovely brown backpack you wear in this vlog and others. Who is it by? I love back pack purses but haven't been able to find one like yours. Any idea if it's available in the States?
Always love your videos! I feel like I'm there. Can't wait to go back! Beautiful garden. Can you tell us about Luca, his story?
So Med with the dog on the scooter. She is adorable. Is Elisabet from Germany? What is her story? Would be interesting to know. What does she think of her life in Positano? Do you think you could interview her if she is willing.
She is from Austria
don't worry here in NJ USA we are still having terrible issues with our mail as well as AMAZON. packages not arriving, being misdelivered etc.
It is horrible since the pandemic
Love your videos, your garden is beautiful...ive been enjoying my garden more this year since lockdown and growing tomatoes but they struggle as its so cold at the moment..wearing jumpers in June 😨😨😨
Beautiful place to live l wish l could be there....pure happiness 🙃🦋♥️
I know that situation. There is my time and the partners time. The veg looks lovely. In Japan we have green shiso and red shiso. Japanese basil but also called perrila. Makes lovely tempura.
Ah Praiano! Spent some time there many years ago with my Italian boyfriend. I am sure that Elisabeth knows my friend Beate who lives in Praiano and for a long time in America. Want to move to Praiano, una piccola cas!😊❤️🕺🏻
I was going to send you some makeup from USA I guess I'll bring it when I visit positano
How kind! Please don't send anything. The customs fees here are ridiculously high!
Canadian postal service is normal. So are deliveries from shopping on Amazon, although later than usual.
Canadian postal service normal? Not quite, at least not in Montreal. But I know I will get them..... eventually.
Sky ought to be a model..shes stunning. X
i stumbled upon your website when i looked up ischia and i am so delighted i did !!! love your videos they are so peaceful and beautiful and love seeing the coast ! especially love your cute little dog!! wow the pizza looks so delish!! this would be our first time in italy do you think 3 days will be enough in ischia???
Yes, you can get quite a lot done in 3 days.
My brother Nikki loves background music he like to no what it is ?

Loved 🙏🥰🇩🇴❤️👍
Brilliant video ! Just curious, does your friend Margaret have her own channel?
Ciao from the Eternal City
I don't think I know anyone called Margaret...
Nicki Positano I humble apologies, I thought your friend from Austria’s name was Margaret. Please accept my deepest apologies
"You talk like people who don't know sh#% about plants." I am laughing so hard. This sounds like me and my husband, but in reverse. Hahaha.
Very diplomatic...instead of saying "you don't know shit about plants"
