We got to watch the Budweiser Clydesdales parade in Wesley Chapel, Florida. The horses were in town for Tampa's Gasparilla. This is the second part of the Wesley Chapel videos. In this video you will see them parade some more but I also included some important names of the people who take care of these horses. The hitch team was so friendly and kind. We will be looking forward to seeing the hitch team again!! Thank you for all that you do!!!

Each one of their neck collars costs $40,000! They are made of the finest leather and brass and sewn together with silk thread. Their tac costs about $80,000.
They travel with 10 horses but only use 8 on the team. They always have 2 spares in case something happens to one of them. Their shoes weigh about 5 pounds each and they each drink about 30 gallons of water every day. The horses that pull the wagon get grain twice a day and hay 7 times a day in addition to their regular food. They have to maintain a certain weight or they can't be part of the team. They LOVE apples and carrots! :-)
You can buy one that doesn't meet the requirements to be on a team (coloring, black mane, not tall enough, etc.) for about $5,000. They have 3 teams that travel certain parts of the country only - East, Mid and West. My friend used to be one of their big rig drivers and he educated me on a lot! I got to be up close and personal with these horses and they truly ARE 'gentle giants'. Just beautiful and very pampered.
Took the Clydesdales tour option at the Budweiser brewery in St. Louis. Would highly recommend to any horse lover. You learn a lot. Also Grant’s farm just south of St. Louis has the Budweiser Clydesdales. Great for kids, too. You can meet the Clydesdales up close.

Love these magnificent horses.
Just imagine : just ONE of those Clydesdales could kill you, yet they are the most gentle of the horse breed !!! And then to be matched up and to pull that huge wagon with one guy with the reins of EIGHT drafts !!!!! So AMAZING! THEN there’s their tribute to 9/11. SO RESPECTFUL!!!!!!! ❤️🐴❤️🇺🇸🥀
