Gracie Allen was one of a kind there is never been anyone else like her close perhaps but she’s never been duplicated and never could be. She went far too soon. You know, I’ve looked and have never been able to find a video clip of her being serious, I think, except for one PA announcement. I’d like to know what the woman was like off camera and off stage. And I can’t leave this comment without mentioning how great George was. But Gracie was almost flawless with her deliveries. I find it quite amazing actually. Oh by the way, I’ve been a vegetarian since 1973 and it is now 2024. Peace.
Another good one was when Gracie and the man on the train 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃 that was hilarious poor George got arrested because of Gracie and the guy on the train that said he had to get home and kill his wife funny 🤣🤣🤣 episode but I love them all I can watch them over and over
i can't be sure but something tells me the carnation milk corporation contributed a lot to this script. i don't think o've ever seen such blatant product placement in any burns and allen show. or any tv show.
Hilarious...so love them...watching their reruns was part of a healing process when I was sick years ago. This is a great one!
There would be SO much lost comedy gold if it weren't for people like you sharing like this!
I love every episode but my favorite one is when George tries to teach Gracie a lesson about the checking account
Thanks for sharing!
I wasn't born when Burns and Allen had their TV show. It is priceless. Forever. Because Gracie wrote most of it!
Not sure that's true, if youre interested. There was a 5 man writing staff
It went off the air before was born but I love it!
Burns and Allen, plus Bea Benadaret!
Fantastic entertainment that's unrivaled.

These early shows were broadcast LIVE. Poor Gracie had to do all that crazy dialogue and nail it in one take!
Yayyy!!!
Thank you for this!
The ad is how ads should be incorporated into the show
George should have stuck with that diet. He might have lived to 102 like the book promised, instead of just 100! 😂
I just mailed my 35 cents. Im anxious about receiving mine.
Did Gracie really personally autograph each book? Any on ebay?
@@Lampshade51 good question. Now a days i doubt anyone would. But back then she mat had. Guess we'll nevee know.

thanx
I had a bowl of grass but I'm still hungry😅😅 😂😂😂 George was funny.
Haha this is why I hate cooking shows. Lots of lead up and enticing ideas but no actual food! Love Gracie, George too.
❤
