It came out when I was 17, in the North we had boring Coronation St, six weeks of episodes about pensioners moaning about a cat going missing. Eastenders was far more daring, edgier and better to watch.
When EastEnders actually had some credibility and wasn't full of cast members consistent of either Essex y-boys or middle class Hertfordshire boffins. 😂

There is some of the prison scenes on here and Nick giving Den the detail by detail account of Regs murder. Nick and Den's relationship was up and down really, i think in a weird way Den felt like he was Nick's dad and Nick respected and feared him to argue back.
