Great performance of the Soviet athletes!
I was there behind the screen. as a young kid when you set that WORLD RECORD Sergej. You're a truly inspiration for any sports athlete. Is just not your sports achievements, but also your humility and the nice persona you're. I wish you the best in life!!!

Great surgey bukka
he might have won in '84 too, but today he'd be competing for Ukraine
Sergei worked so hard to become great....and yet, it looks like it comes so, SO easily for Duplantis.
Nice
Who can answer: why are indoor and outdoor records divided in athletics? What is the difference where does an athlete do a pole vault, long jump, high jump?
I can understand running. Indoor track is shorter, a turn is more difficult... but jumps...
samantua When you compete indoor because you're in a building that is a controlled setting. Outside, you have: tail winds, head winds, rain, cold weather, warm weather, and hot weather. It's unpredictable. That's why records are different
Frankiethetankie, so outdoor is more difficult? It seems, you were mistaken.
samantua Running indoors is harder for me because of the facility., but yea. Jumping outdoor is harder
@@samantua Outdoor is more difficult for pole vault unless a nice tail wind is present.
Pity he won just one Olympics gold.
the best idols n the second i know on sport. first one, of course maradona.
Russian team the most medalist was ukrainien athlet's than Sergey Bubka 🇷🇺❤🇺🇦!
Have you heard the name of Valery Borzov?
Slava Ukraini !
Get out fool
Tomislav Bagic He is Ukrainian, fool.
masterokaslt30000 You are still a fool nevertheless. Get out.
This is the USSR. Ukraine and Russia are together. He may be Ukrainian now, but can't we all just get along? Half of your country speaks Russian, and the western half hates them for that. JUST LIVE WITH IT.
masterokaslt30000
Ok. I am not imperialist. Just stating a fact that was at the time. Go feel proud of your twelve year old self.
I'm getting out of this conversation now, since you wish me to.
слава СССР , тем более он с Луганск
