I agree 100 percent with Harold. This is incredibly reverent and beautiful. The cantor, choir/congregation, and organist did a magnificent job! The music soars to the heavens and takes our minds and hearts with it. I too like the improvised progression from the Kyrie into the Gloria. If only this were the prototype for all liturgical music today. Thank you for posting.
I'm sure that I hear people joining in as customary. You lead very effectively. I just finished playing and cantoring a Latin Gregorian Mass Ordinary at my Parish earlier this evening. We generally use the "Jubilate Deo" setting with Gloria de Angeles. I will subscribe.
Richard Wozniak Yes, prestant/diapason is my biggest friend. It forces the people to sing :p First few months I sang with a microphone just to "teach/train" them. Now, it is only used for Rosary. I hate singing with mics, plus this enormous church has a good accoustics. Check out my video "Virtual Tour Willibrordkerk Utrecht".
The interlude between the Kyrie and Glory is so wonderful. Nice interpretation of gregorian chant and excellent playing of the organ... really very nice!! I heard it and I would wish to be over there.
This is the typical Mass of the Angels. Beautifully done BUT I am looking for a sung Mass called the Philip Neri Mass. Of course, this is not chant but more Renaissance/Baroque. Use to sing it at High Mass before Vatican II. In this video, I particular like the strong organ and it does not overpower the chant. The organ is the most majestic of all musical instrument and is befitting to praising God. I cringe when I hear a piano used for liturgical music.
I am interested in this Saint Philip Neri Mass. I hope you find it! Best of luck to you and may the peace and blessings of the Holy Infant be with you!
I couldn't hold my tears, this was played at my dad burial mass. Tears was flowing ceaselessly.
deepest condolences and requiescat in pace to your dad

This is my absolute favorite tune for the Kyrie
It's timeless, as is the Mass, they naturally go together.
What a taste of heaven!
God bless you... this is as close to heaven as it gets.
Everything about this is so beautiful. I especially love the improv leading up to the intonation after the Kyrie.
Harold Rutila Thank you so much. This was the Christmas Day Mass, so it's a tradition here to do a festive Gloria prelude with the organ. :)
Harold Rutila You can only imagine how we do it with easter. A Gloria prelude of 2 minutes, all pipes and registers Pulled :D
TradOrganist Missa de Angelis is one of the most beautiful mass parts in my opinion. I would like to hear the Easter version! Is there a video?

Richard Wozniak The organist, cantor, and choir, were one young man only. ;)
Subcribe to keep updated. I record almost every Sunday Latin Mass I play.

Juan Molina thanks so much ^^
muito lindo a santa missa cantada em gregoriano parabéns
Would you happen to know the exact version of accompaniment the organist is using? It’s just so lovely

Pray to Saint Anthony! He will help you find it! Also, Pray to Saint Philip Neri, it is his Mass after all. :)
