Even I m facing similar problem, people are thinking as if I'm wierd. I want to make friends but I don't know how to be a good friend for long time. People just move on after couple of months

Balance is important. My dad passed away in October too so for me having friends and at least some socialization once or twice a week is important. If I didn't socialize at all I'd be pretty depressed right now. My dad and I hung out almost every day since I had to take care of him since he was in poor health since i was finishing high school. We had a really close bond and it was really heartbreaking when he died. He helped keep the stress and pressure of school and my mom at Bay. Now I at least need to socialize with someone other than my mother at least once a day. You don't need to focus on girls that much in college but it's important to keep the socializing muscles strong so when you actually meet someone you like whether now or later down the road, you'll have an idea of what to do. Tripp gave me advice like this before on his live chats. It's not to say avoid girls or not have sex if the opportunity come up. But you should be putting minimal effort into it during your college years. You don't want to tie yourself down with someone too quickly, enjoy your twenties. I don't plan to get married till my early mid 30 s.

The way you hear and advice is very crucial and tells us terrible mistakes often. No socializing really kills badly.
It doesn’t kill believe it or not . It’s the safest place, no attachment no heartbreak not needing or waiting for anything from anyone

@@sheikhsameer3917 basically what it means is they would rather be alone and avoid heartbreak than deal with it from people who are by nature inconsistent , superficial , and self absorbed

Social skills are paramount. He's already proven he's had drive. But with the amount of stuttering and doubt, along with him being socially pushed aside hints that his social skills may be dwindling. I would suggest he catch up on social skills since that blows any kind of success via drive out of the water. No girl likes to be with a boring dude even if he's filthy rich and successful. Not one. Elon Musk is a prime example. Being below average to poor in social skills is a downward spiral of torturous hell that most people don't pay attention to until they're in it.
But some guys really don’t have time to socialize. I didn’t at all in college party cuz I loved my studies and cared about doing well. That made me weird to people since a lot of other people were just doing it for the gpa. I actually took time to really learn what I was learning. Outside of class and just homework. Does being a intellectual or studious guy make me boring? Maybe to some but I am sure not to all. Just opening the dialogue further. Hope I am not sounding defensive or like I am criticizing you.

Same here. 21 and haven’t even been kissed and gonna be graduating college in hopefully like 4 months. So girls are in the back burner right now and I’m gonna become a dating and sex king after I graduate. Good thing I still have the hand to meet my needs.

Don’t worry about it dude. I was a virgin until 20. Now 22 graduating college 15 bodies and counting with 2 dimes that I had short term relationships with. At 20 I was scared to death thinking something was wrong with me. Relax it will happen man just get out there when you can👍🏻

A question I have is, why should college students focus on their studies? Right now I have no dating experience and I thought it would be helpful to gain experience in college, but I can’t gain experience if you say to focus on studies
It can be helpful but the whole point of school is to get an education not get laid. If you can date in college great, if not don't make a big deal out of it. I used to be super insecure about not have gotten laid and I'm 23. I saw all these guys with girlfriends and having sex. I was kinda jealous. My dad used to tease me too. He'd say if you can't get laid in college you might as well hang your dick up. His actual advice it not worry about women cause I'll have all the time in the world to worry about women when I become rich if that happens or just when I start making my own money. Besides the spectrum of maturity of women is all over the place in college. You may me way ahead of the college students based on your maturity. I grew up real fast when my dad passed away.
Focus on managing ur time. If you manage ur time well, u can have a job, go to the gym, have good grades in school, and still be able to date. The key here is you are going to HAVE TO date girls in your classes because you wont be able to join clubs. Attend class and talk to everyone around you. Eventually, you will notice the people who sit around you will change to mostly females or cool guys. That isn’t a coincidence, they want you to talk to them. It happened to me.

Imagine calling into get dating advice and the alleged “dating expert” just tells you to not focus on dating..........
Or why not join clubs that you are passionate about. That's why I did and the chances of meeting new girls have increased well.

Make going to the gym and changing your body your #1 passion in life. Not only will you see changes on the outside but your confidence will soar too. That's really the best benefit of going to the gym, not the looks and physical qualities but the renewed confidence, positive outlook and decrease in stress. Good luck.
My tip to the young guys out there. Try everything to get the girls NOW! Very very soon ALL the interesting, cute and attractive women are married or at least in a relationship. Then, if you have standards, and you are not with a woman, sex life is over. I have not seen an attractive, single women in over 30 years.
