28:28 oof, nice shot. This is what I like about Teutons, you got the Capey Bois and infantry, but Teutons got support for them: a backline of BBCs, a full siege workshop with SO, Hand Cannons, and a full monastery. Nothing fancy like Ethiopian Torsion Engines or Hindustani HC range, but Teutons usually have some unit that can counter those while Capey Bois get to work thanks to an expansive tech tree.
The reason you take the hunt first is because the faster food allows you to click up earlier. There's no real difference in efficiency, assuming the vills behave themselves.
One reason you got steamrolled in early Imp was that you got some very expensive eco upgrades instead of making army. Imp Farming upgrade costs several hundred resources and doesn't kick in for 10 minutes or so AND with Teutons it's impact is reduced since you already have cheaper farms. Shoulda made Capey Bois earlier or anything else, really.

Taking hunt is more efficient, because you gather faster from it, so you want as little as possible to rot. So, if you kill a boar and a sheep at the same time, it's more efficient to task all your villagers to the boar (as long as there is enough space).
"but but but I have anti infantry bonus damage"
Teutonic knight: "I dont think about you at all."

Also unlike Ethiopians, Teutons have eco to back it up
Being in a 2v2 scenario vs Teutons and slavs sounds horrendous 😂😂

I ask myself how long could the Viper survive on Cataclismo? Am I alone?
Teutons :)
I kinda like the idea of blacking out the civs, so you counter what you see nothing else. A Texas Civ would be cool.
I know Viper uses this strats for content but you need a lot of technique to pull off this
