Diana,Diana, Diana!!! She is always the epitome of style, class and grace. Just gorgeous. I am Diana Ross's HUGE!!! admirer and fan. Has been all my life. She makes me proud of being a Black American and just a human being.
👏 👏 👏 Yes! I have admired her for 10 years now and I too feel the same way. Diana is one of the many Black Americans I am so proud of and makes me so proud of my race! 😊😊
MJ and Whitney. But Diana paved the way. Its not a coincidence that Berry Gordy chose Diana to introduce The Jackson 5 back in 1969. The Supremes were the phenomenon that took Motown to the next level, and Diana was the Queen of Motown. She broke through all the barriers. Her greatest artistic achievement was her revelatory performance in 'Lady Sings The Blues'. Liza Minelli (who won for Cabaret that year) even said the Oscar belonged to Diana. She blazed a trail on so many levels. The Boss!
Heavens I am getting old. I remember this time like it was not that long ago. She had to leave Motown but it also forced Berry Gordy to say farewell. By the mid-80s, he reluctantly sold the company for a lot less than it sold for a few years later. It sold for $330 mil. She made her first $20 mil around this time as well.
@1990soulman I of course am in no position to say whether she did or did not have her skin lightened, but I think the transition from black and white to color television and the advances in modern photography has a little something to do with it. I have noticed this seeming ligntening with others too.
The interviewer was NOT getting on her nerves. That is Mies Bouwmain, a very respected and well loved interviewer, whom Miss Ross really had a great relationship with.

I can't think of any other black entertainer that was so popular with white people and popular with every ethnicity
Mj, Whitney and prince?! Let’s be serious
@@nakitawilliams4259 , not in 1970s, the height of her solo career
@@nakitawilliams4259yes let’s bc neither of them had the cross over impact and appeal as DIANA ROSS

Glamorous entrance! So pretty. Not a fan of copper green in her. But those features and that make up are great.
she's very pretty here and I love her outfit... but the interviewer was getting on her nerves lol

Deze interviewster sprak wel irritant! Vertaal volledig of niet!
