5:03 The first iOS version for the CDMA iPhone 4 is technically iOS 4.2.5, which was only shipped to review units. 7:00 The 8GB iPhone 4 released in 2011.
@@nomecognome2 1) I’ve been watching Apple Maniac YT since April 2021, so I know that he is not only a true Apple collector, but I also never recall him getting a CDMA iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.5.
I got scammed on eBay when buying a Gold iPhone 6 Plus 128 gb on what looked like iOS 8/9 on the hello screen. I told the seller to not update and asked if it was iCloud locked, but he never responded and when I got it yesterday, it was updated and iCloud locked.
The iPhone 4 was only available in black when it first came out in June 2010. The white model ended up being delayed until April 2011, 10 months later. This was most likely due to a flaw in which light would leak through the white glass and adversely affect the camera.
I also ordered a iPhone 4 on IOS 4 which appears to be code locked/disabled. It came in on the 13th of July. I'll be making my first IOS related video about it soon.... It's still packaged.
@@GoJottechnically both of you are right. The 4S had not real 4G but like HSPA plus like 3.5G it was still using 3G network though to accomplish.. LTE is what most refer to 4G which came on the 5 and ran on real 4G networks, there was never a 4G or LTE logo on a 4S only HSPA as it technically using 3G networks you can google hsdpa hspa plus etc its all 3G network. But it was miles better than UMTS in the 4.
Go jot I need your help. Apparently on phoenix wants me to set offsets and I don’t know what to put. I am trying to downgrade to iOS 8.4.1 on my iPad 2,4
That is fine. I am getting a PC though so I will get iTunes and restore it. I watched Ian’s tech to downgrade and he made the same mistake so he restore in itunes and I will do the same
I have an iPhone 4 on some older version of iOS but unfortunately gets stuck on the apple logo and will not boot I don’t want to do an iTunes restore as it would update to iOS 7 is there any way I can save the software???
I dont get why people pay extra money or get very excited of using older version of software I have recently got iphone 5 on ios 7 and the first thing I did was an upgrade to ios 10 yes its more laggy but software is still newer and everything works fine while on ios 6 nothing works and you need to install apps manually soo...

That’s a real bummer, definitely start a return and get your money back

return & real bad review moment
@@GoJotyou can fix it with a jailbreak. Like 3utools, It will remove the icloud lock. So maybe you can save it if you have a windows or mac.

just save blobs and restore
@@SOTP.that updates the baseband doesn’t it?
Correction at 7:30 the border of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s were made of stainless steel, not aluminum.
Also. aluminum is not a word.
It is in English US.
Make a video comparing the design of Apple Music from iOS 7 to iOS 17 or 18 now
I recently got an iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.3 and an iPod Touch 4 on 4.2.1!!
Nice 😃
The title for thinnest went through 6 months, LG replaced it with 1mm.
4G came with the iPhone 5.
If possible, also make a video showing whether or not Apple Music works on older iOS devices
It was introduced in iOS 8.4 so the iPhone 4 is out of question as it is stuck on iOS 7.
My first iPhone. White CDMA iPhone 4 8GB
I have 3 white iPhone 4 iOS 4. 2 iOS 4.2.8 and an overseas 4.3.3, I’m very happy
i have a iOS 4 iPhone 4 passcode locked in safe mode do you know how to exit that?
Judging by the photo, that may run iOS 4.3.3-5 because 6.0 and higher, or 4.3.2 or lower have a different iTunes logo.
Is the next video going to be about the 12” MacBook? 👀
That’s a actually a really good guess 😉
iPhone 4S doesn’t have 4G, it was literally just a faster 3G. iPhone 5 was the first to get 4G.
A very quick google search will show you the iPhone 4 has 3G, the iPhone 4S has 4G, and the iPhone 5 has 4G LTE.
