I'm curious to see if Nike actually puts these on SNKRS, cause so for they only dropped in boutique stores in both EU/US. Already got my pair, but definitely went under the radar.

There was only 2 og air Jordan 1 lows in 85. Natural grey and the metallic blues. They did it pretty proper with these and can’t wait for the metallic blues next year with also the 85 look

The 85s have a PU insole, board lasted, thicker and BETTER leather, longer tongue, and a different sole.

@@christenn32 nah. They’re sitting because people are sleeping. The money is not the issue when the majority of sneakerheads will spend $210 to $225 for Jordan 4 to 13.
I’m happy that “sneakerheads” are sleeping on this shoe because it allows me to get a double up easily. You can’t be a sneakerhead if you don’t understand the value and significance of this shoe, complain about it being $30-$40 more expensive, but then turning around and buying 4s made of cheap materials.
These dropped back in 85 and the swoosh is bigger then the swoosh we have now but not as big as the 85s or the 2015 pairs we got years ago

They are not $160. Some retailers put them out for $160, like Phenom, but the MSRP is $170.

You have the info with the Swoosh size backwards. The true OG Lows used a very large Swoosh like Travis does on his. Any other modern Jordan 1 low is smaller than that Neutral Grey 85 is even. They brought it much closer to a true OG, but not completely. The 2015 Jordan 1 Lows in the Bred, Royal, Chicago, Shadow; all have the true "large Swoosh" as well

Bruh had to point it out cause you said the same thing in the last video but it’s better to compare the swoosh and other Materials with other Jordan 1 low OG like the Jordan 1 low OG Powder blue or Black toe. The swoosh is bigger on these than them and these also have 8 lace holes rather than the 7 found on them.
Of course, the Travis Scott series is its own beast and actually the closest to the OG 85 cut with the biggest swoosh.
Another comparison is with the Jordan 1 low Chicago (2016) where the swoosh was huge and there were 8 lace loops.
So comparing it to Travis is not the best comparison tbh
I think sneaker technology and design inproved since 1985, so to me this is a shoe you get because is 1985 because of that collective quality but todays Jordan 1 low is better fit comfort and so on. Opinion. Still live that they did this.

You keep saying these released in Europe first, but there were MULTIPLE raffles and public releases in the US on the 25th. How could you have missed this?
Second, how in the world have you been doing this for so many years, but you’ve never seen the 1985 Air Jordan Low Natural Grey? You can easily google “85 Natural Grey low” and images pop up everywhere. Hell, the placeholder image for this shoe WAS the 85 pair until official images came up.
The leather is decent on these? That’s completely false. The leather on these has a VERY thin PU coat on top. You can literally see the natural wrinkles of the leather.
All of the information given out on this review was just bad man. Does this shoe a disservice honestly. You keep comparing the swoosh on this pair to the TS, but you failed to understand that the TS pair is still based on the 2015 Low models with the “fat” swoosh. Whereas the new 85 model is based much closer to the original 85 swoosh, which was not “fat”.
This shoe has NOTHING to do with the 85 High Neutral Grey.
Soleplay a actual authorized retailer of Nike and Jordan brand had these shoes in October and were told by Jordan brand to push them back to November. These original were suppose to release October 25th but did not but still released in Europe. Second, you are correct and I actually knew about this but I could not find those images when looking for them since why I mentioned the metallic navy pair and not these. You are right these did release original in 1985
The leather is decent thats my opinion just like you have your opinion, if you have a problem with my opinion then I might not be the guy for your to watch.
I keep comparing the swoosh on the TS to these, EXACTLY that was the point of the comparison to show the audience the DIFFERENCE between swooshes on a 85 pair and 2015 pair. So you missing the point of the comparison. Not everyone knows the differences between the 85 and 2014 pairs hence why I compared the two and pointed out the differences in size.
The shoe does have correlation of the 85 High Neutrel grey as the Nuetral Grey released first and Jordan brand later released a low top version of the shoe. Just like they've done plently of high and low top colorways. That was my comparison there.
You missed alot of the points I was making and then took them as something being wrong here. Comparisons to show differences, hence the 2020 pair, I am letting people know that this shoe released in 2020 with the 2015 cut and you are trying to say I am wrong there. But at the same time I can admit when I was wrong, I forgot about them releases back in 1985 but everything else you just accused me of being wrong about, YOU interpreted it incorrectly.
I have both versions of the neutral grey (this one and the one from 2021). The 2021 version is better. The toe box and shape gives it an orthopedic dunk look.
