The Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm from Banila Co is amazing! Their foaming face wash is also lovely. The Balm is scent free and the face wash has a very light and fresh smell and is quite moisturizing as well. The Balm melts off even the worst water proof mascara and doesn’t feel greasy/horrid on the face! :) Thanks for the wonderful video as always!!

Just starting your video and honestly I don’t blame ya. It’s still hard to wrap my mind around the fact that it’s a whole brand new year. My family and I had a really rough past 3 months (since October) and Christmas and after Christmas just felt different than usual. Sorry to hear that your first week of January hasn’t been the best. Hi Soph! I'm happy to hear that you don't exfoliate everyday. That's really bad for your skin and exfoliating can damage your skin barrier so it's only recommended once or twice a week. Also if you're interested in skincare I could recommend Cassandra Bankson's UA-cam channel. She talks about skincare and ingredients and everything that is good and not good for your skin and ingredients that can cause irritation.

I’ve been feeling the same. I fractured my ribs off pneumonia before Xmas and due to my brittle bones they just keep refracturing and the muscle spasms around them x the constant pain has really got me down this last few weeks x just feel eurgh and down and hibernating. Hope you feel better soon lovely x just done a massive beauty bay haul to make myself feel better aha x

Hey Soph! I thought I should just let you know that The Clinique Cleansing Balm contains Polyethylene (many balms do, because it’s what makes it so thick), which is a kind of micro plastic. You can’t tell because it is micro, but it does go down to the sewer system if you wash it off. However, if you wipe it off and throw it away, it should be fine ☺️ loved the video 😍😍 much love, xx
ELF makes a great, affordable cleansing balm, the Holy Hydration Cleansing Balm. Highly recommend!
Also, ELF just came out with a dupe for the Milk Hydrogrip, their new Power Grip primer. LOVE IT! 😁

I was hooked on Elemis, Clinique, and liked the Farmacy but hated the smell. Then I tried Juno skin one and it knocked them all out of the park. There’s no fragrance, it melts down to the creamiest texture that takes every thing off with no tugging, but leaves no oily residue and is affordable. I just love it. I also heard the good molecules one is really nice
We felt the same after Christmas. Doesn't help that here in the UK the weather is so dark and miserable 😫 sending you love xxx

I use coconut oil to take off my make up, it is so easy to use and literally melts off your make up, I love it 😊
for a high-end black liner def try the fenty flyliner liquid liner!! the worker at sephora recommended it to me and it’s a total life changer. it’s super black, the brush is super pointed, and it’s smudge proof ❤️ also i hope you feel better soon, mental illness is a bitch but we got this :)
Primark do a cleansing balm (in their "naturals" collection) and I find it does such a good job at taking off makeup, even my waterproof mascara!
The made by Sunday mums right cleansing balm is incredible! I always used the Clinique too but I’ve changed to this (on my third jar) and it’s affordable and good for sensitive skin 💕

Got the Nabla bronzer on sale at Ulta after months of wanting it, but not wanting to drop $24 lolol BUT I’m in love! The finish is stunning!! As it’s not fully glowy/shimmery yet not fully matte. I feel it’s the perfect satiny finish for people with skin texture, as it doesn’t highlight it or make it look matte and muddy!! I’M IN LOVVVEEE
The neutrogena cleansing balm is soooo good and doesn’t break me out!

As far as cleansing balms, I really liked the Clean It Zero cleansing balms! They have a couple different versions targeting various skin concerns. And although it's not a balm, DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is AMAZING at melting off makeup, and it's fairly affordable!

For high end makeup my faves have been the Tarte Shape Tape, Nars Sheer Glow and Fenty Loose Powder in Butter!
For high end SPF my favourite is definitely the EVY daily mousse SPF 30! It’s so hydrating and hasn’t ever irritated my eczema or broken me out!

Hello:) for cleansing balm I use vaseline.. It's incredible how it's melt the makeup.. even those mascara which don't go off easily.. and helps the eyelashes to grow stronger..

If you’re into lighter almost skin care foundations , you should absolutely try Skin Realist from Nabla (I think it’s on Beauty Bay) 😍 love the video!
I also realized even though I have extremely oily skin, I’m leaning more towards moisturizing products rather than products for oily skin. Think it works way better for both skin in general and under makeup!
The hairspray from that Moroccan Oil company is SPECTACULAR. I had to buy some when I accidentally bought mousse instead of hairspray and I needed to do my hair for a wedding. It’s pricey, but it smells so nice!

Hey Soph, hope you're doing better. I'm 45, I have a son your age, and I'm really up and down with my mental health as well at the moment. Be kind and patient with yourself and know you're not alone.
Maybe give your hair a protein treatment, like Aphogee 2 minute repair, or a deep conditioner with protein like Shea Moisture JBCO deep treatment mask, just don't overdo it. Every 6 weeks is good.
As for cleansing balm, I do like the Elemis one but I really like the Elf one for a drugstore/affordable option. I also just got the Elf mint melt primer, very similar to Milk Hydrogrip primer. Just don't use it with the Fenty skin tint, it gripped too much and made me look patchy.

I recently had patch testing through the NHS after referral from a private dermatologist. Took about a year to get the appointment but I wasn’t having major flare ups and could manage them myself. Referred due to suspecting allergies as a trigger for my eczema but found to have nothing specific based on the standard testing. Basically said I have temperamental skin which flares up for no known reason (fun!) so I need to maintain it as best as I can to prevent the flare. Glad I waited for NHS and didn’t waste my money, so if you are able to wait patiently that’s what I’d recommend!
Milk translucent loose powder is my favourite but also really love the Kim Chi Chic one too!!

If you love Charlotte tilbury then you need to get her airbrush bronzer. It’s magic the way it just blurs out the complexion. For lipsticks I recommend Pat McGrath get them when it’s on sale they go down to £11-£14 literally and so good. I am obsessed xx
Hi Sophie, for a good makeup remover balm you need to try the UpCircle apricot balm. It's a bit expensive but so worth it, they're based in the UK and make products with recycled ingredients (I would also recommend their coffee serum and the coffee and citrus face scrub !!)

Really love and recommend the new maroon/brown Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk mascara Soph, especially with the same shades of eyeshadow, I felt like it made my blue eyes really pop 👍🏼
I use the take the day off balm, a good substitute is just baby oil or coconut oil so that it breaks down your makeup! love your Vids Soph

A drugstore makeup cleanser that I love is the Soap & Glory Peaches and Cream Milk cleanser! No complaints whatsoever, smells nice, works great, really gentle, I think it's better than the body shop cleansing balm
And I can't remember if you've tried it already but the Essence Pretty Natural foundation is loooovely for a lightweight foundation, my only issue with it is that it's not pale enough for me in winter, you should be fine though!

for the benefit quickie contour try using the foundation stick instead! i work on a benefit counter and that’s what we recommend to folk, it’s more customisable and a LOT better of a formula x

The Farmacy cleansing balms are all amazing. Spendy, but amazing, and it comes in tons of scents and they release new ones every year. I also swear by their moisturizers; Honey Drop and Daily Greens are both very hydrating but also light.
I don’t know if Aldi still have it in but they had an Elemis cleansing balm dupe before Xmas and it was amazing worked the same and smelt the same too x

You need to try the VIEVE bronzer, I am fairly pale and use the medium pallets. Blends like a dream and even goes amazing on bare skin!!!
I use the Elf cosmetics cleansing balm & it’s so good!!!!! I’ve also used the Clinique but the elf one is much more affordable & I think just as good. I used the primark one before too which was ok if ur on a budget but I found the oil took a while to come off xx
A little tip for the snapped hair, instead of tucking it under the other strand, smooth it over the top of it, if that makes sense? With a little hairspray or something similar to keep it hidden

A really cheap cleansing balm that i love is just the primark balm to oil cleanser its only £3 and lasts like 3-4 months and i use it everyday my make up literally just melts away. Love your vids x hope this helped.
