Stay focused, and realize how harmful it is. I know it's not easy. What helped you was your youth, the older you get consuming that poison, well you know. Good luck and may GOD bless.

This month makes 7 years alcohol free for me. My experience is cravings go away Naturally as our cells return to normal. Alcohol is poison and the body heals itself Naturally when we stop poisoning ourselves. Thanks again for the video.

Good stuff Leon. It is poison, plain and simple. No amount of poison is good for us. Don't be fooled by marketing or society. Be a leader. FYI - it does something for me. It disrupts my sleep. The next day is shot. I feel nauseous. When I do not drink, I am so happy I passed the craving, and feel so much better when I wake up.

When I start getting a craving or thinking of that drink” because it can be exciting or fun….I then go to reality and say to myself, but wait I’m happy right now! And I’m proud of myself! why would I want to go have that one drink if that’s the whole reason why I’m here…I think I don’t want to mess it all up! And that’s when I say nah not worth it!!!!

Glad I came across your channel..I just broke up with my ex boyfriend because he drank regularly..he comes from a well off home where his father manages the business very well..but my ex was heavily dependant on his father and never took complete responsibility of the business. He never added to the business..his father got a heart attack 6 months ago and I freaked out what would happen if something went wrong with him,i was extremely doubtful whether or not my drinking boyfriend would be able to take care of the business once the father is gone- the future looked very uncertain and scary.
A few days into our break i heard from people that he’s been visiting bars etc.
With me he had begun to control his drinking but just a few weeks into our break up ,he’s back to his old drinking ways.Back to his preferred choice of drug that is Vodka while with me he had switched to wine and cocktails and in limit.Im unable to believe that he is back to his old ways so easily without much remorse about our 4 year long relationship ending.
He is 33 years of age but I don’t see him leaving alcohol.
While we had many episodes of abuse when i tried controlling his intake, eventually he cut down.In his company my alcohol intake also became more frequent that before.
I am been thinking and thinking endlessly whether or not i made the right decision as he also had a very caring side to him.i an denial feeling it was my fault that i was trying to control his drinking.
    PLS HELP ME

If he wants to stop, he'll stop. Being in a relationship with or being around people that bring you down worsens yourself. You're better off being around people who uplift you and allow you to improve yourself.

A dose of alcohol is a temporary fix for a permanent lifetime of problems, been there, no lie. Prohibition days was no fluke. They knew way back then that the poison would be a problem, but our world succumbed, it succumbed hard! Good luck everyone, and may GOD always bless.

I don't agree with the statement that it does nothing for you. A few drinks FEEL GOOD, can be enlivening, courage-producing, and can even help you get to a truth or two. Otherwise I agree with everything you say. It is toxic shit and I want it out of my life for good.

Bro I wish you uploaded this yesterday... 😭

    • @randomadviceguy1780
      @randomadviceguy1780 2 роки тому

I Almost fell yesterday... Had a good friend talk me out of it and got me busy doing something else. Had I drank yesterday I would hope you would tell me the same thing I'm about to say.
Get back on the horse real quick you're fine. It will only take a few days to be back where you were.
Grab Allen Carrs book "easy way to control drinking, and start listening to it. Take this time to really think about how you feel and analyze what it has done for you or what it is not doing for you.
Look at your brain as a science experiment and really think about what and how you feel during each phase of it.
That book has a chapter on everything that we may believe about alcohol. I was still drinking when I started listening to it and it was actually helpful. Because then I could really see and contrast and compare.
If you're drinking right now just sober up in a few hours and start the book. You may not think it will work but just let it teach you and talk to you about the realities of what alcohol is in all situations.
My brain did not shift until the last two chapters... With that said it would not have shifted had I read the last two chapters first.
Do it when you're mostly sober. If you have the money jump into Leon's program. If you're a little short on money the book and all his videos will move you in the right direction.
Your fine and you will for sure get there. Just keep the habits of this good input and eventually the new knowledge will build the logic you need to see it in it's true light. There really is no benefit... Once you see it this way it really does not take a lot of willpower.
A video like the one above can help us when we let our logic slip into the shadows of our mind. :)
