The myth of the perfect Japan again? No crime and no homeless lol. There is considerable pretty crime and embezzlement, just not a lot of violent crime. Also I saw homeless people all over the Tokyo train stations and Osaka stations. I gave them my pocket change and starbucks gift cards whenever I could. One gentlemen cried when I gave him more than 2,000 yen in pocket change, I hope it made his day or week better.
Seeing homeless in Japan was honestly surprising! What do you think is the reason they have such low rates?
I wish Los Angeles and the US government would learn how to manage their homeless rates like Japan
