There is no disclaimer you can put in the description that will keep me from asking for an EOLAD
Where EOLAD
Seeing a giant eotech on top the gau 19 was impressive. I’d definitely buy a tax stamp for that combo.
Just purchased an EXPS 3. I really appreciate learning more about this company, I'm proud of my American made product. Thank you for putting out cool history/information. People like me who want the story and history of a product that we've purchased really appreciate it. Next level company.
That grenade launcher optic is brilliant honestly. I was born down south but grew up in Michigan and still live here. It really makes me proud that the state I've lived my entire life in is home to two of the absolute best, most rugged optic manufacturers in the world--Eotech and Trijicon. Plus the automotive manufacturing which is what I myself do for a living. I just wish the winters didn't suck.
Holy hell, that 203/320 optic needs to come the hell back. That is simply amazing.
I really wish you guys would bring back something unique like the rising tracer reticle from the Bushnell Holosight. Take advantage of the fact that you are projecting a 3d image instead of just a flat circle dot.
Or just bring back the biohazard logo
Yeah, this was a trip down memory lane to say 'look at all the cool stuff we've done'. Well, Y'all are stagnating and the prices need to come down. Y'all have been making the same holographic sights for decades now. R&D is recouped, and you know what you're doing.
I really want to see the new version of the built in laser model!
“The evolution of the OGL’s actual price by the time it’s out for civilians in 2025”
Ok but like, why don't you sell the combo laser sight anymore??? Like there is DEFINITELY still demand for that
Yeah especially since the internet said it's ok to put your lasers closer to the receiver again instead of the retarded front-of-rail position everyone was using for a while. I've always put them just in front of the optic, on the receiver and was laughed off the range. Now, 10 years later, all the high-speed people are putting them where I've been putting it all this time. Go figure.
The first time I ever used an EOtech was in the Army over seas. It was mind blowing tech for an infantryman at the time. It replaced my m68 aim point. It may be why I made it out alive during the surge.
Bring back a new version of the built in IR laser sight!
Wish you’d guys would re-introduce the 553 for all the GWOT AR clone builds that have become very popular recently. Make it SU-231 marked and it would sell well.
As for this video, I wish you would have showcased the 552. That was the Eotech that I was issued in 2006ish time frame. I really liked it and it served me well.
Can’t wait for your new one!!!
That is awesome! The giant sight to where it is now is amazing and obviously innovative
Really enjoyed that. Didn't know about the 203 sight. Well done.
We need the OGL now
Great episode
This was super interesting!
That 203 GL optic would take over the market if released in a configuration with the ring+dot and/or just a dot and QD rail mounting like a standard eotech. All of the size and weight complaints taken care of for the guys that choose to run aimpoints because of the size and weight savings, and already tall for NV use. Would be perfect, market dominator!
Eotech is awesome!!!!
I NEED MORE BATTERY LIFE, OKAY DAD!
Just reminding you guys to catch up to Holosun.
>No “this product is not available” disclaimer on the SU-231
So you’re telling me there is hope…
Can't wait for the technology to improve so battery life can rival a standard red dot.
Why? Your missions last longer than 6 hours? Just hit the up arrow. You would have adjusted the brightness on a T2 after 3-6 hours.
Complaining is for the weak
@@HWG-wm8lddude quit dick riding Eotech. They're my favorite optic but it doesn't change the fact that it's agreed by 99% of people that a longer battery life makes any optic better by default. Especially if it can just be left on and ready to go and don't have to turn the optic on.
@@HWG-wm8ld You mission set is 24/7 if you are using the holographic sight for home defense or self protection. I use to run a EXPS3-0 but I honestly got tired of having to remember to hit the arrows to reset the auto shut-off and swapping batteries every few months to prevent the optic from drying. I switched to a T2 and it's vastly superior in the battery department and for home defense/self protection. If you were deployed overseas raiding huts maybe it would be a different conversation, but for home defense the T2 is my go to. Also, the T2 is still very usable under nods which is about the only area the Eotech truly outshines the T2.
I'll stock more batteries to gain feature parity. I understand that with today's energy tech, that is the tradeoff for a holographic sight, and I'll happily accept that compromise.
So you keep your optics on while in the safe? You will never need your rifle in such a manner of urgency that you can’t hit a button.
The biggest benefit is the eye relief. Shooting around walls, under vehicles etc, you don’t need to be even close to directly behind the optic. I always recommend a T2 to anyone that asks.
Battery life, 7 days
Can we get a reticle like the Kobra sight reticle from Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4?
No. That's the most gay reticle ever. Circle-dot is fine and actually useful
Why is Al Borland yelling at me about holograms?
Lol I have 2/3s of the units on that table.
Yeah do us a favor, launch the OGL or give us back the peq15 until it comes out. On top of that, why not keep selling the older models for cloners?
EXP series are not that ruggediized... They should make the hood out of titanium.
you have no idea what you are talking about, the aluminum hood is supposed to bent and take the damage INSTEAD of the actual optic. the stronger you make the hood, the more shock is transfered to the sight. If the hood was super strong and not give in to impacts at all, the sight would take more damage.
@@lima993b interesting, are there better materials that could prevent the glass from being shattered then? Or perhaps the design is flawed.
How often are you dropping your gun to bend the hood enough to shatter the glass?
Stick with irons if you are that worried about nothing.
👍🇫🇷🧍♀️
Well up for buying an Eotech. Right up until they told me just because I live in the UK it smacks $100 onto the price tag of a simple things like glass repair. Sorry that is a rip off! Doesnt cost £100 to send something to the UK.
Not gonna lie, if they made a version of the esps 3 with that built in laser as seen on the 512, and throw in a rechargable battery, id be sold to put that on my rifle since Im too poor for a mono upper like a scar or a 6940. No offense LMT but your barrel mount looks like a liability. For real most free float at15s are gonna suffer both rail flex and rail tilt so that laser built in the optic was way more ahead of its time then people relises.
Honestly I just want to know when @EOTECH is going to make a low priced optic that us poors can afford something more around the price of $150 and under. Especially since the technology is nothing new as y'all explain!
Look man, we'd all like to see that. But holographic tech is not going to get that cheap for a long time.
@InvidiousIgnoramus Oh, I wasn't talking about money. I want them to catch up in features.
@@whatsamcgeeEven the vortex holo (true holographic, not red dot) is 600 bucks. There's a reason for that.
You guys gonna ever do a shake awake feature? Holosun is beating you like gong
The video is basically an admission that they've been making the same product since 2001, so I'm guessing new features are a decade or so out.
Michigan needs to purge the election riggers of 2020.
The "This product is no longer available, no inquires" should really send a message to the higher ups. We want it
