"Just Google it at this point..." lmao- I was so confused even with the subtitled interpretation of poker terms. I just watched right through- that's how committed I am.
Hands down one of the most informative interviews. I learned more about poker in 49 minutes listening to these two along with the imbedded descriptions and definitions. Thank you Daniel and Nikki.
Poker is a great game. But you do need to learn a little etiquette. Or else you might accidentally make a rude move. Let's say you're big blind with a 7 2 and you called a big raise and stay to the river. Winning the hand catching it on the river. You should have folded on the first raise because it's the worst possible starting hand. People who played for years might take offense. But please don't let that scare you away. You learn a lot about yourself and others.

Almost 20 years ago now, I got to play cards (blackjack) in AZ with Norm MacDonald. The dealer was destroying the whole table with ridiculous and continuous draws to 21 (like 4 or 5 draws to 21 in a row, a couple of them were even 6 card draws, when we had 20 or 21 and then back to back blackjacks - it was brutal). On that second dealer blackjack Norm said, "GD, are ya gonna F us in the A in the parking lot and then make us buy you dinner after this too? What the hell man?!?" Then he tipped the dealer a couple $25 chips and gave me an elbow nudge and this smile that I'll never forget. I loved that man before that night, but I was kind of IN love with him after that night. I became a regular and degenerate gambler for awhile after that, hoping to run into him again, but never did.
That's awesome dude, I know a guy who sat at a table with norm macdonald at a comedy club. He said chris farleys brother went up, and norm was heckling him hilariously...I was reminded of that by yer story.
😅 I’m a Tosh fan AND I played cards professionally, this was a blast for me even though I think she isn’t really a good player, more of a billboard for the poker industry, but also with tits.
As someone who has played poker rather seriously since 1998, I was rather excited about this episode. Super cool. Good luck at the tables to both of you.
Agreed! I have to admit for me it didnt start until moneymaker but this was an awesome episode. Totally hilarious reading all the comments about this goi g over their head. Wish my spouse was as enthusiastic as her! 😂
@fafafohigh69 Its Texas holdem. With 2 queens on the board. 2 queens in the other person's hand, and she had the rest to complete the royal. I know thinking is hard sometimes, but it's not impossible.
I'm here for Nikki! I bet Steve wishes he was on the show too 🤣 It's crazy hearing the journey from Steve over the years and hearing Nikki talk poker now like a pro! And thank you editors for the subtitles! 😛

we were just in Napa and a restaurant there had a warning on their website: No hats, no tank tops, no team jerseys, we dont do groups more than 4, this isnt a good place to bring kids. I said "Oh boy, this is my kinda place." We went there and it was great! There were people with hats, they wern't crazy about it. When you see large groups in a restaurant, you know you are screwed. Rutherford Grill was awesome
The final table this year was pretty exciting. Lots of back-and-forth with chip stacks. Lots of good calls, some bad ones... but the last few guys definitely deserved to be there.
@20:43 lol, is funny seeing someone who can make Daniel laugh like that :D Nikki is pretty hilarious, cool to see her on Tosh Show :) Hope her and Steve are doing well, I haven't watched their vlog or videos in a while.
I was at your show at the Chumash. Sorry to hear that you didn’t have the best experience. Me and my friends throughly enjoyed it though and had a great time!
My parents owned a breakfast restaurant and every Sunday the entire church cast came in for breakfast. It was by far our most profitable day and you can expect that at every breakfast spot near a church.
Haha,,, MAN I used to play hold em tournaments every weekend….. this really makes me want to play Edit: your dog is awesome…. He’s such a well mannered dude, just sitting cooperatively across the table….. looks like he was probably about 6,000 dollars,,, which is geeAY! haha but love the show lib-shart , another banger in the books
Me listening to Nikki talk about Poker is like my Grandma listening to me talk about technology.
Yeah, this episode isn't for us.
Haha! Totally. I came here from the podcast hoping for a fuckin translation. 😂
This episode isn't for 95 percent of people. Listening to poker jargon for half an episode is brutal.
Well said
does your gramma constantly think about boning you? if so, i can relate to your simile
the moment she asked him to share about his "ghost experiences' and he rolled right into the next question had me... 😂
I loved the entire conversation and understood about 19% of it.

I love when he yells at the guest to get stuff off his table. 😂 my favorite part apart from the perfect segways

@mandarb23 it's a game. That has nothing to do w etiquette. You don't want action then go play checkers with your grandma.
I love Daniel’s rants so much

So cool Nikki came by, I listen to her on Solve For Why all the time, super funny girl!
"Just Google it at this point" lol
indeed
That shi killed me.. I was already hitting google for a few things then just gave up after the caption lmfao.
She was literally speaking another language. 😂
Didn’t see this comment before I made mine but yes
"Nutted Hand" and " Exploded on me" are the only quotes I retained from this.
She made Tosh legit laugh and it was pretty much the greatest thing ever! XD
'i started with yatzee... when I was 6' - best line of the show.

As a resident of Wichita, thanks for letting me know about the garage sale… didn’t even know about it
I needed at least five times as many subtitles to understand what the hell she was talking about. Lol always a laugh 😂

Nikki Limo! What a great guest, I’m such a big fan of her ❤
I didn't understand 90% of what T F was going on today. still watched/listened to the whole thing.

Nikki was awesome. Great show. Definitely the best one in a while, if not best yet.
Used to be big into poker so this was a treat to hear it discussed again!
Wait I didnt know Daniel Tosh has a podcast!! I was probably recommended because of Nikki and Poker! How sick love this collab!
Best episode so far! Multiple laugh out loud lines, great chemistry.

My two favorite things. Comedy and poker, love it.
Poker isnt my thing, but Tosh is. I'll give this video a watch and give a comment for the algorithm
