Tarikh is a daily program in which we present you with incidents and stories of noteworthy persons of Indian History in Hindi. In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about the 1999 Delhi Hit and Run case when a speeding BMW driven by Sanjeev Nanda, grandson of Admiral SM Nanda, struck and killed six people, including police officers, in Delhi. The case became a national spectacle due to Nanda's wealthy background.
Initially, Nanda and his associates were acquitted. However, after a lengthy legal battle and a crucial sting operation exposing attempts to bribe witnesses, Nanda was convicted in 2008. His sentence was later reduced to time served, but he faced a hefty fine and community service.
The case exposed issues of wealth and privilege influencing the justice system and sparked discussions about accountability for the rich and powerful.

महाराष्ट्र मे कॉलेज मे पढाने वाले परमानेंट शिक्षकोन्की संख्या बहोत कम रह गई है. खाली पोस्ट पर जो अध्यापक नियुक्त किये जाते है उन्हे 9 महिने के लिये नियुक्त किया जाता है और उन 9 महिनो मै भी छुटीके दिन का पैसा उन्हे नही मिलता. बंधुंवा मजदूर भी इन लोगोंसे जादा पैसे कामाते है. इसका असर शिक्षा के स्तर पर हो रहा है.और NET Ph D करनेके बावजुद शिक्षक बहोत नीचे स्तर कि जिंदगी जि रहे है. अनुरोध है इसपर एक शो किजीये.
