Ya if he had everyone in their prime in all his years with the cavs he wouldve never left because a prime d Wade a prime d rose a prime Shaq a prime Ben Wallace the list goes on and on
True but they tried the year before had a top 10 pick in Wagner that was suppose to be kyire before kyire then Lebron told boozer to leave they tried to get Micheal redd and he didn’t come but got the second best player that was a free agent in that time in Larry Hughes he just so happened to be injury prone so they tried they made trades to help support Lebron they tried just doesn’t no one wants to come to Cleveland 😂 it wasn’t management fault
At that time Cleveland was only using LeBron for fame. They don't care about championship. They can just drag anyone and give that guy a CAVS jersey to play with LeBron. They didn't even try. While Miami was ready to win a chip of course Bec of the Legendary Pat Riley, he knew what to do. They wasted Lebron's first 8th years??(correct me if I'm wrong) if they didn't waste his talents. LeBron would have stayed and win at least 3 or 4 more rings.. cancel out the 2 miami rings then. 4 or 5 total rings
So... even after all that transpired that night in Cleveland, Bron was willing to leave a potential dynasty in Miami to go home and bring that city a chip. Wow.
And man it feels great to know nobody can ever say he didn’t win one in Cleveland. Years from now people gonna look back and think about how amazing of a player he really was.

Lebron is one of those guys that will not be appreciated until after he's gone. Hardworking, driven, family man, and pretty much spotless as far as scandals (at least publically), but not perfect which gives him that drop of humanity that superstars sometimes seem to lack because of their feats.
@@marcosjuarez1490 Bruh, I like Kobe and am a Kobe stan but the man literally has a rape allegation on his resume. The absolute WORST things you can say about Lebron are all related to basketball (Decision, lack of clutch, he's not MJ/GOAT).
@@theCHILLIntrovert And 1 of the critiques ain't correct. LeBron doesn't always take the last shot, but statistically his clutch numbers are very close to MJ, way above Kobe and he has more game winners than MJ in playoff games (in more games played, of course).
@@Inthecommentsfornow I do, but look at what you're saying. The *worst* thing we've got on him is literally just an extramarital *allegation* (because we don't actually know).
It wasn't Jordan did it that way, it was because till Kobe, the superstars wasn't let go and the franchises built the team around them. And most of the stars wasted time because of that. Lebron didn't want to leave to franchises and took control. That was the hate. NBA was a business, Lebron just made sure the players received their share of it by taking better control.
Unfortunately his ego also played a big part so no it wasn't 100 percent like the backlash wasn't justified. The Not 1-6 rings comment, him holding a 2 hour T.V. special about where he was going to sign, and making fun of Dirk's health in the 2011 Finals. Yes he made a business decision that helped players control their destiny's(except he isn't the only one to do this, but that doesn't mean he isn't still a huge egomaniac to boot.
@@beastmode218 well he sure isn't the only one to do it, but he was the first one. he was an actual superstar that decided to move on by himself without getting traded
IIRC, the Cavs had bad management but were still able to build teams that complimented Lebron's game. Even before Lebron left, it felt like they were making moves to make him happy as opposed to actually having a vision for the team. Lebron left because he needed help but he also wanted to guarantee rings, which is why he teamed up 3 in-prime superstars. That's the catch-22: he wanted to take control of his legacy but also wanted guaranteed rings. That's why I hated him & imo a big reason why most people did too. His goal wasn't player empowerment at that time. That was a result of him setting a precedent by taking control of his free agency.
@@jaccbolton Do u see how Cleveland looks every time Lebron leaves? He literally carries them Cleveland teams to 60 wins and so on....yall can say Kyrie this and kyrie that but what was kyrie doing with Cleveland before Lebron came back? How about you don't burn jerseys like its normal. JJ is correct they don't want black men making decisions for themselves, much of the racist fan base couldn't stand it.
BIHM III No doubt. Which is why I’m glad LeBron left again after winning the championship. He set out his goal and accomplished it for the fans and continued his career while the Cavs front office continue to be incompetent.
The Cavs never put no one around Bron, just like the wolves didn’t put no one around KG & The pelicans didn’t put no one around CP3 or AD. If I was in that situation I would leave the team/organization as well.
Actually CP3 and KG had really good player’s around him. They just played in a conference where 1-8 could be separated by a half game or two. The western conference used to be tough. You could lose a game, and drop 3 spots. CP3 has had every chance to win, and Garnett went to Boston at the right time. Personally I think if Lebron didn’t have that large announcement with the show of the 3 of them coming out saying they’d basically win 1-7 championship’s. It wouldn’t have had the impact of the hate on him. KD went to GS, and basically said f%ck what everyone thinks. Lol Lebron is still the top player’s of his generation. Jordan is still the top player of his Generation. When Lebron leave’s, the NBA is going to have a problem.
💯 none of them teams couldn’t afford too do it Jordan and kobe was lucky because them two franchises have money and BIG REVENUE due too winning back in the day Chicago big as New York so it was plenty money for mike to get them great talents plus puppet contract was terrible so they had it Bron fasho would’ve stayed home
I got to disagree with the ad part, if boogie doesn't get hurt I think they make a couple more playoff appearances and win a series or so, and don't forget they had holiday as well
@@infinitymixtapes9562 I know KG is great, just maybe a fringe Top 5 power forward in the last 2-3 generation’s. It is really hard era’s because of rule change’s, and medicall-sport’s science.
I hate when people compare Lebron going to Miami to KD going to the 73-9 already champion Warriors. Not the same at all. Cleveland never had any talent the likes of a Russell Westbrook, James Harden or Serge Ibaka. And KD joining the Warriors, would've been more like Bron, joining the Celtics' big 3, since he lost to that team, and they already won a chip. Bron joined a team from scratch pretty much. People were gonna hate on Bron regardless, because they don't want him to be the GOAT🤷🏾♂️
We can all agree that LeBron is the most influential player of this era...he was the first to do it...you can't be mad if someone else decides to one up you in those regards...it's like a company takes another companies idea but improving on it... In this case KD just took the idea from LeBron and make a weaker move...if you want to blame someone...blame the guy who was the best player in the world and decided to make a custom built team in Miami....he basically gave the rest of the NBA the green light to go out on their own and join whoever...look at the PG13 and kawhi situation LMFAO
To think of all the people who burned his Jersey, the owner who insulted him, yet Lebron came back and delivered on his promise and gave Cleveland their championship. While getting that championship, he also gave back to his home town and home state Ohio, Akron. Seriously, most people in his shoes would have given the middle finger and moved and stayed somewhere that appreciated him.
Evil Lebron was a Demi God the first loss to Dallas lit a fire in his soul just on an in game level he attacked the basket early and often he made big shots and started the chase down blocks not so sure how good his actual defensive numbers were over that span but the effort on D was uncanny
Lebron has taken a lot of disrespect from people who really don't know anything about basketball. His talent will truly be appreciated more after he steps away from the game.
thats how the human mind works, they value everything more once they don't have it anymore

LeBron represents the uncontrollable athlete who dared to take his destiny into his own hands. America is comfortable with the “dumb jock” who is only an object of their entertainment. If Pat Riley would have been perceived as the mastermind behind the LeBron TRADE and the Bosh signing he would have been labeled the GM of the year and heaped with praise. The fact that this was viewed as athletes making their own decisions enraged a specific demographic.
Here are the picks the Cavs during Lebron's first stint: 10th, 55th (2nd round), 42nd (2nd round), 25th, 19th, 46th (2nd), 30th, 54th (2nd round). Simply put, Lebron carried those Cavs teams too far, so they never got high picks. The Bulls drafted Pippen by MJ's third season (5th). Kobe had Shaq since his very first year. Shaq was dominant since his first season and took the Magic to the finals before Kobe was even drafted. How can someone take Lebron and compare his situation to these two? The Bulls only won two games less after MJ left, and they were one bad call from making the ECF (without MJ). Shaq left and won another ring with the Heat. While the Cavs went from winning 60+ games to 19 games right after Lebron left. The Cavs also never made the playoffs (despite drafting Kyrie and a few other high picks) until Lebron came back.
Good point but you fail to mention the fact that ppl miss this fact that Cleveland could've had Kawhi Leonard instead of Tristan Thompson the game would be over!!!! Why Tristan Thompson 1st pick Cleveland just ducked as an organization 💯💯 small market for basketball very football dominant yet still LBJ went back home.... bc Cleveland had a great opportunity with picks they wasted!
@@bigweezo2341 bulls traded up. Pip also would had never turned out the same if Jordan wasn't bus teammate. Jordan pushed all of his teammates to be better, Lebron didn't.
That just shows you how mentally strong he is and how basketball is more than just a game. I remember when he delivered that championship to Cleveland, espcially in the manner that he did? Down 3-1 to a team that won 73 games that year? To me that moment solidified his legacy. You debate and say he isnt the GOAT but that right there was some GOAT type sh**
People were also mad because he wasnt doing what Jordan and Kobe were doing which was staying in the organization and wait to be built around. However, MJ and Kobe had the fortune of being drafted to the good organizations that would continue to make moves to stay competitive. Cleveland however was a sorry organization and the front office was hindering Lebrons career, they could've had Amar'e Stoudemiare to pair up with Lebron and they messed that up too. My point is, why should we fault Lebron for leveling the playing field and putting himself into a favorable situation that Cleveland failed to do like LA and Chicago with Jordan and Kobe? Michael Jordan was a tread setter when it comes to being a marketable player and legend. That became the tradition and definition of how players should follow the example. LBJ took a different route as explained by both guys in the podcast. Not everyone gets to be Micheal Jordan or LeBron James. Every individual has the right to live out their life by the choices they live by.

Win H Bro 98% of people mad at Kd and lebron we’re leaving had anything to do about them being black. It’s because they are really good players, and now they are creating super teams. Which means their team won’t win and they will easily win. I bet they wouldn’t care if lebron or Kd came to their team. Nothing to do with being black. If Luka joins the lakers next year it’s gonna be a problem. He’s white if you didn’t know.
Peyton Lee U threw out 98% as if it was a fact, yet u have zero substantive data to back up that assertion. The fact of the matter is it was a combination of both, as the racial epithets hurled at them and other players serve as evidence of. And FYI plenty of sports fans openly cheer for black players, and are still racist as hell.
Imagine being Miami Florida's most beloved athlete for 13 years, dude definitely has Spanish women calling him "Sexy" every time he steps out in public
The difference between lebron and other greats is they weren't drafted into dysfunctional organizations or a constantly dysfunctional organization. The bulls were somewhat dysfunctional at the time mj was drafted but they were able to pull it together and make some good moves. It's not a knock on other players that they got drafted into good situations but lebron simply didn't. That's also the difference between kd and bron's move, kd's front office surrounded him with a good group of players and he wasnt able to get it done, to be fair to him though in 2013 russ went down and in 2015 he went down so who knows what wouldve happened otherwise. Also kd made an unprecedented team and lebron made an unprecedented move, in the modern nba theres never been a team with as much talent as that warriors team there have been teams with as much talent as the heat, but bron was the first to successfully put a team together. I wouldve had no real issue if kd went anywhere else, even san antonio but in my opinion him going to the warriors ruined the competitive balance of the league, and it could set a bad precedent for future players to do the same.

I love Lebron, and everything he stands for. As a man, as a father as a leader of his community. The guy is an example of a man that as men we should all follow. However, when it comes to inequalities I do no appreciate how he handled the China situation. And I understand that he has to secure his bag and the NBA put pressure on him to direct himself to the media a certain way. With that being said, China is a communist country in which an individual has no rights to freedom. You do as you are told when you are told or you suffer consequences. Lebron had a chance to put some shine on the true oppression that people in China have to go through, but he chose not to and looked the other way. I did not like that move at all. Still love him as a ball player though.

But Bron gave them everything for those first 8(I think) years and never tried to get out of his contract, like other players at the time... smh at the hate he got for a charity event smh.
He said he came back because he promised his kids (school) that he would bring a title to Cleveland. While that may be true, I think he came back because of economics.

Excellent discussion. It's hard to answer hypotheticals but I wonder if "The Last Dance" had been produced and released prior to "The Decision" if the response to LeBron would have been different particularly as it relates to how owners and executives treat players in their business decisions?
@TruMusic89 + you realise that once lebron leaves, the league is just gonna focus on another player. Then will you want them to retire also? Just appreciate greatness
JJ, I’m glad to have found you doin your own thing. I think you have the personality for it. Your relationship with other pro players allows you to ask more personal questions. Good work bro. Juss earned a fan over here.
Roflol, sure D Wade, that was the reason. Had nothing to do with the idiotic Not one, Not two, not three, not four... It was all because you were black. Cleveland was obviously upset about Lebron's decision, nobody else cared that much before the cocky frat boy parade. The fact that the Laker's deal to get CP3 in 2011 fell through for reasons still kind of sketchy also did not help, as it further sold the narrative that the NBA was pushing for the super team in Miami which at this point was already hated because of reasons already mentioned. As for KD, it was twofold. First he went to a team he just lost a 3-1 lead to and secondly there was sympathy for Russ who he seemed to have left high and dry.
LeBron paved the way for 🧁 Durant NBA should have blocked KD for joining the warriors, that was a freaking dream team made up to beat LeBron. Disgusting
Facts but they denied cp3 to lakers so Kobe wouldn’t get more rings than Jordan and let the warriors team up to keep lebron from winning every year after the 3-1 comeback everybody knew lebron was ima different mode
So Lebron can assemble multiple all stars now with 3 different teams but the Warriors who where mostly draft picks can’t add one player at the expense of their bench. If Lebron had his way he would also have Kawhi with AD to go with Veteran ex Allstar role players. Lebron would most probably still be chasing his first ring if he did not keep stacking the deck. No mater how you look at it Durant’s titles are equivalent to Lebron’s, but the Nowitzki’s, Duncan’s, Kobe’s and MJ’s for example that had the struggle of being built over time to become a great team truely exemplifies greatness.
They couldn't have blocked KD from joining the Warriors though. They could only block the CP3 trade because at the time the Pelicans were owned by the NBA. If the NBA owned the Warriors in 2017 then they could've blocked that signing but they didn't so there would've been no way of blocking that signing.
The US has a strong anti-worker bias is all sectors. People don’t like it when the workers have control over their own workplace or destiny. The US also has a strong anti-black bias as well so any black person that is in a position of power is scary
I think they are missing a point that Cleveland had nothing in terms of sports, and then they get LeBron in 2003, and he was supposed to their savior. They make Finals in 2007, get close another few years, and then he leaves. LeBron leaving affected Cleveland's economy because of all the merch sold with his name on it. But then he comes back, wins them a ring, and Cleveland fans were fine with him leaving in 2018 because he came back and got them a ring.
People hate on the heat but "superteams" were always fun to watch especially when they're lead by a hungry superstar. That narrative changed in 2017 though when the warriors assembled the avengers then it wasn't fun anymore lmao. But right now we're in the era of dynamic duos and it's awesome

Lebron was at his very best in Miami. The work ethic, versatility, defense, mental fortitude and leadership skills he learned with the Heat and from Wade himself made him leaps and bounds better than who he was before he went to Miami. It made it possible for him to get Cleveland that championship which I still believe they didn’t deserve. I am a lifelong Heat fan from Miami and I witnessed the hate the country, the league, the media and Cleveland were throwing our way and particularly at Lebron. The hostility and hate he got from those fans was actually scary to the point where police were ready to intervene if someone decided to go over the line. Think about that. This man just decided to go to another team and people were ready to cause him physical harm. It was insane and I don’t know how he forgave them enough to even go back there again.
False. Jordan didn't come in the league with a dominate team. The Bulls were absolute garbage when Jordan was drafted. For six seasons Jordan didn't have an allstar teammate until 1990. Also, players didn't just leave in their prime. They stayed til the job was done. Look at Dominique Wilkins. Spent his entire prime of his career with the Hawks and never came close to winning. Hakeem Olajuwon waited 10 years to get a ring with the Rockets. Players didn't just pack up and leave when things didn't go their way back then.

If the organization is incompetent in adding good pieces what's so terrible about Lebron controlling his own destiny? Star players in the past stayed with their teams because they were stuck in long contracts and couldn't leave the team had all the leverage over the players. Karl Malone wanted to be traded from the Jazz but they refused to trade him, by the time he was a free agent he was old and never won a ring. I get lebron leaving Cleveland. They never got him a strong enough co star to compete. The only thing I said was weak was he joined Dwayne wade who was like a top 3-10 player at the time depending on how you argued it. On top of that he recruited Chris Bosh who put on a fantastic show in the olympics. Regardless I don’t blame him for doing what he did. He’s still the #2 player of all time.
Not until KD made a weaker decision. KD’s fans always defend him that KD destroyed LeBron in the finals but KD only played well because the pressure is not there, Curry and Klay took all the pressure off him but when he’s with his own team back in OKC, he didn’t play like he was in GSW because the pressure is on him but his team was also better. That is the reason KD will just be a HoFer but will never be in a discussion with other greats like Jordan, Kobe and LeBron.

Michael Oates exactly. It wasn’t bad because he joined a team that is not very great and made it great team also they weren’t that great from the start or the first season but at that time, it was a bad decision. Then KD’s decision came which made his legacy weaker which is now he realize and tryna win it without Curry and Klay or I should say not joining an already super team. That one mistake is the reason KD will only be a HoFer and a champ but not gonna be compared to greats like Jordan, Kobe and LeBron.
That Cavs organization is complete trash. They put no effort the get LB players to be competitive. They just surounded him with Trash and expected miracles.

I loved the Heat during Bron's first year before. I love watching movies and rooting for the bad guy and the Heat might as well had been wearing all black.
Y’all reaching with KD. “Uncomfortable with powerful black men making decisions.” Real NBA fans were upset because it made the league unbalanced for 3 straight year. Not because of the color of his skin. Only because of the decision he made and the ripple effect it had on the league. NBA today is in a much better place with more parity in the league.
wirelessbrain12 Let me guess, you can find fans of all of the players you mentioned that agree with you, and it’s a fact, right? Further, The only one of the 3 that had real chance to win a ring was Harden anyhow. Westbrook was too busy chasing stats and going home after the 1st round.
wirelessbrain12 Dame and Westbrook wasn’t making the finals regardless. The Kd move helped the rockets matchup better against the warriors. Because the rockets can’t keep up with the warriors fast ball without Kd. Look at last year playoffs.
Agreed, LeBron paved the way for KD. Wasn't racism, it was cheap by KD and it was bad for the league. Why would I buy season tickets for my team knowing they have no chance to win...not a sustainable business model
But they didnt call up their buddy's in their primes and say he lets play together..... Thats the issue we have. with that Miami team... If lebron and the bronsexuals wouldn't have start calling lebron the GOAT there would have never been the hatred. Not to mention the thing on the stage with " not 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 in a row" rubbed everyone the wrong way.
In the years leading up to “the decision” a handful of teams cleared cap space in anticipation of signing LeBron. Those fanbases felt scorned by him in addition to Cleveland because LeBron hadn’t delivered a championship.
The thing is Jordan didn’t go team up with other Superstars because they were brought to his team. Scottie was the second best player in the game arguably at the time, if not top 5. So ppl have that misconception.
I've said the same as well. A lot of people argue "but Jordan never left so that makes Lebron soft", why would Jordan ever need to leave? *Scottie Pippen* was drafted by *Jerry Krause* and they both were coached by *Phil Jackson* - in the second 3peat they even traded for *Dennis Rodman*. All of which were top 5/10 at their respective position and are in the Hall of Fame; Jordan never even had a reason to leave! Whereas Lebron was never afforded that luck or luxury to sit around a wait for his all-time great cast to show up, Cleveland wasn't doing it for him so he moved on. The best Lebron could have gotten is getting convinced to stay and somehow Cleveland trades everything to land Anthony Davis? But that's unlikely to the point of silliness.
Let’s not forget Pippen was drafted and grew in time. Phil was a fairly new head coach then. They along with MJ grew together within a short time span to form the backbone of that dynasty. A different path to success compared to LeBron. No right or wrong. You can’t discredit one path to make the case for the other. Ain’t right. Like winning with 3 different teams has more value than winning 3x in a row... twice! Both are difficult, period.
Pippen was a bench player when he came up... he developed playing with Jordan.. and he was never ever the 2nd best player in the league.. ever... and he didn’t even make the All Star team for 2 of their championships.. and for the 2nd Threepeat he avg 17ppg on 40% fg in those 3 Finals..
@@shawnvalerio6836 absolutely. All I’m saying that LeBron’s winning situations were not that far off from Jordan’s in that Jordan was not doing it alone and Michael’s teammates were comprable to Lebron’s when they both won
LeBron picked his teams every time he won. That holds no value, winning three in a row with one team is harder. You have every team in the league gunning for you when players actually wanted to play rather than cry.
Imagine him staying in Cleveland? A team that failed to give u proper supporting cast😂 He came back to their trash team and they still failed that's why nobody will stay there The first thing nobody wants to go their
They gave him a supporting cast that complement his game. The problem was that they couldn’t land a big man to Cleveland. The second time around he had a good supporting cast
A good supporting cast that be recruited. That team was put together right when he got there. Don't give credit to the organization for that; that was all LeBron.
Exactly and the bronsexuals calling the 97,98,99 rockets a superteam... Barkley was at the end, Hakeem was at the end and so was drexler and pippen was also on the decline... Hardly a superteam
I wish Wade would also keep it 100 though. He was the third best player in the world and Lebron was the first or second best depending on where you will put Kobe. And they had a perennial all star big in Bosh. That’s where the hate game from, the deck was stacked too high they were *guaranteed* at least one ring and should have 3 peated
I agree they should've won 2011 but Miami didnt have depth and spurs outplayed them so it's kinda like shaq's career. They could've done more but what they did was fine.
@@teresa-oj9rq 2010 Dwade averaged 26.6 4.8 and 6.5 in a slower paced league with less 3s, and was already universally recognized as the third best player behind Kobe and Lebron. KD was too young Tim Duncan too old. Don't rewrite history to benefit your case.
No mention of how poorly conceived and executed the announcement was? The Decision was exactly what a wrestler would do if they were making a heel turn. The Celtics superteam was assembled on conference calls and emails, while the Heatles was a prime time special on ESPN. That's a Hollywood Hogan move. It was a great marketing strategy (if intentional) because it raised their profile and that of that whole franchise. And it set them up as the most important force in the game, both on the court and off. But there is always going to be a lot of hate reserved for the king, no matter how popular they are. And if the king makes a big deal about crowning himself? That attracts even more hate. The Lebron/Wade Heat is the Napoleon of superteams.
Don’t forget the line from Lebron- not 3, not 4. Not 5, not 6. He was letting his ego take over. He didn’t deserve any love at that point from non Miami Heat fans. We can’t just wash over that point. He was a young guy though. And he didn’t have the adult leadership that Jordan had growing up. So I don’t blame Lebron as a human being overall. But he made it really hard for NBA fans to like him the way he did it.
Even back then I loved how Lebron made that decision to leave Cavs... Lions shouldn't gaf about sheeps' opinion, I love how he went his own way and not let fans, media, Cavs organisation and everyone else dictate his life... and this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of Lebron in general.
Bron was hated cuz he chose to team up with Wade who was the scoring champ and actually posted better stats overall than the Lebron who was named MVP. The idea of basically having 2 MVPs at the same team was too OP back then that Lebron's move to Miami looked cowardly.
Nop, that is one stupid comment bro. Lebron gets hate coz most people think MJ is the goat and they can't accept that LBJ is better than MJ all the way period
Lol wade had no merit over Bron as the MVP in 2009. Cavs won 66 games off the strength of Bron and the heat won 43. The cavs wasn’t stacked either so don’t use that. Also people hated the fact they he wanted to control his own destiny. They were ok with him on losing franchise
If Bron had been given to him a team in Cleveland which would have helped him reach his potential and win a chip, he wouldn’t have left in the first place
True but u and I both know that Cleveland team just wasn’t capable of winning it all and historically its such a struggle for Cleveland to attract free agents I just always wonder what lebron career would have been like had he been drafted to a more prestigious franchise
LeBron almost got them to a championship but it was basically him against the Spurs. If somehow they had won that, the decision would've been less criticized, but still hated on. People forget he dragged the worst finals team ever on his back.

@@Idk22221 thank you because if Lebron when to Boston and as a Celtics fan I would be mad because some of the players we had going to get traded, also Rando at the time would be on Lebron head way more than how Mario Chalmers called Lebron a bih.
To me personally, I think he was hated because the way he left Cleveland. Had the world waiting and it hurt the city once he said he was going to Miami. Plus him being in his prime to join 2 other players in their prime takes away the competitiveness of the league because him and wade use to go at it . Just my opinion.
LeBron, and Bosh were 26 , and Wade was 28, they were at the peak of their prime. Allen, Garnett and Pierce were 32,31,and 30 respectively at the tail end of their prime, those two moves aren't exactly the same.
LeBron probably wouldn’t have left Cleveland if the cavs gave him a good team.
Exactly
Nobody can win in Cleveland
Then wen they get stars there already washed like shaq, past prime wade, drose
Yup. He obviously have no help. When he left cleveland, they just shrunk instantly.

Hell I'm glad Lebron left...Cavs GM and owner never got him any help....we forgot Kobe was finna leave LA if he didn't get any help
He had solid players. 60 win teams with the best defence in the league. Bron got outplayed by Hedo Turkoglu against the Magic in the finals.

Actually CP3 and KG had really good player’s around him. They just played in a conference where 1-8 could be separated by a half game or two. The western conference used to be tough. You could lose a game, and drop 3 spots. CP3 has had every chance to win, and Garnett went to Boston at the right time.

Bron wasn’t winning a ring with Russell either especially in the West
Lebron would drop 40 and then go guard 1-5 on defense it was nuts
The chasedown blocks started in Cleveland...like 08-09
Lebron has taken a lot of disrespect from people who really don't know anything about basketball. His talent will truly be appreciated more after he steps away from the game.

America is comfortable with the “dumb jock” who is only an object of their entertainment.

@Elle Mack: Lebron went back because had an agenda in Ohio, that he ultimately achieved *on AND off the court*
He felt Guilty at least he got the ring
Dont hate Lebron for leaving and doing what was best for him, his career, and his family as a whole.

Dont hate Lebron for leaving and doing what was best for him, his career, and his family as a whole.
@@Sylegacy I agree, but the part where you are wrong is....Kobe was drafted by the Hornets and they TRADED him to the Lakers because they wanted Vlade Divac.
Excellent discussion. It's hard to answer hypotheticals but I wonder if "The Last Dance" had been produced and released prior to "The Decision" if the response to LeBron would have been different particularly as it relates to how owners and executives treat players in their business decisions?

😭😂😂I like how wade said “We” no people hated Bron Lmaoo no we
LeBron paved the way for 🧁 Durant
NBA should have blocked KD for joining the warriors, that was a freaking dream team made up to beat LeBron. Disgusting
Facts but they denied cp3 to lakers so Kobe wouldn’t get more rings than Jordan and let the warriors team up to keep lebron from winning every year after the 3-1 comeback everybody knew lebron was ima different mode
I thought I was the only person that saw that and I thank you for bringing that comment up.
No mater how you look at it Durant’s titles are equivalent to Lebron’s, but the Nowitzki’s, Duncan’s, Kobe’s and MJ’s for example that had the struggle of being built over time to become a great team truely exemplifies greatness.
azwan azmi most true thing I’ve ever heard
They couldn't have blocked KD from joining the Warriors though. They could only block the CP3 trade because at the time the Pelicans were owned by the NBA. If the NBA owned the Warriors in 2017 then they could've blocked that signing but they didn't so there would've been no way of blocking that signing.

But then he comes back, wins them a ring, and Cleveland fans were fine with him leaving in 2018 because he came back and got them a ring.

k brown he’s already top 3 in my opinion.
1. MJ
2. Magic Johnson
3. Lebron
It did start a trend of players teaming up, Which literally means no competition at all 🤷🏻♂️ Sad But True
Jordan had a dominate team around him he didn’t have to leave. Cleveland was not gonna beat Boston.
@@gdiggedy9 MJ signed a 10yr contract as a rookie. He won 3 rings during that rookie contract, so why would he leave? Lebron left for Miami after signing 2 contracts with Cleveland and when the second contract was completed.
@@gdiggedy9 : unfortunately, you have a lot of clowns today who make NBA greatness so much about rings. That's what changed from the 80s and 90s. It's so bad that there was a point that LeBron in his prime wasn't on people's top 5 lists of players in the league =just at the moment=.
@@gdiggedy9 true. Lebron left cleveland to win ring by building super team in miami, he was the first allstar who build superteam with young allstars 30 yrs of age and below.. in boston, garnett joined pierce but that was ok cause he was 32 then and getting old.. when miami lost, he LEFT them. kyrie and love were rising allstars so he sign up again in cleveland with rising allstars.. love got injured then lebron again LEFT him going to lakers. Lakers did not make it up in playoffs and injuries excuse, he got back early but still losing so he made that excuse big time. 2020, stacked team again so lebron did not have to fake injuries anymore. Lakers had to be champs because of the movie space jam 2 otherwise no one will watch it. AD knew what was going to happen that is why he was forcing pelicans to trade him to lakers,he did not know that he will be used just like love kyrie and wade bosh.
Lebron would be much appreciated if he stayed in miami or cleveland but no, he knows how to pick allstars who is performing well in a number of years then recruits them, if they do not peform anymore, he LEAVES
@@mr.k8902 What difference does it make if a player leaves by asking for a trade to play with other great players or leaving as a free agent? Either way the objective is to win. Kevin Garnett said that he wished that he left the Timberwolves earlier. Do you realize how bad the Cavaliers organization is? Look at how terrible they were before Lebron came and after he left! The Cavaliers were too good to draft a star when Lebron was there because they were winning and star free agents outside of Lebron have never signed with Cleveland. Pippen was acquired in a trade for Olden Polyniece does Jordan win six rings if Seattle keeps Pippen? The Bulls got Rodman for a bag of chips take those lopsided trades away and MJ is ringless. Magic and Bird walked onto loaded teams . Guys like Dominique, Mailman , Barkley couldn't win because their teams didn't make the moves that the Lakers, Celtics and Bulls did to set them up to succeed. Put those same ringless greats on those winning teams and they would win too. How do you know that Lebron's injury was fake ? The Lakers were fourth in the west and 2 games out of first when he got injured why fake an injury then? The Lakers are far from being a super team outside of the top two players no one else on the team is consistently good. Haters like you have no problem with Lebron's competition stacking the deck staying with one team only matters if it's Lebron who goes to another team and wins.
Lebron on Heat stopped my favorite team Thunder from a championship ring so I have a reason to hate lol. They was on a tear then fall out afterwards

People wanted to see Lebron fail. Once he joined Miami they knew he wouldn't and that pissed them off.
Michael Jordan didn't leave because he already had the second best player in the league on his team Scottie Pippen, and probably the greatest defender/hustle player in NBA history
Jordan didn’t leave because he was a true competitor
Damien Butler he threw a tantrum and retired bc jerry Krause wouldn’t rehire Phil Jackson lol. A real competitor would’ve played with whoever was the coach
@@damienbutler8508 he also said Scottie Pippen was selfish for sitting out because he wasn't getting paid like the second best player in the world. He called Scottie selfish because he knew that he needed Scottie on his team in order to win championships and Jordan didn't want to take pay cuts so he wanted his other great teammates to take pay cuts instead. Jordan is selfish and greedy and only cares about himself and his own legacy. He used Scottie and Rodman to be named the "GOAT". But he's not
It's a fact!
2nd best???? FOH Scottie was NOT a better player than Hakeem Olajuwon in the 90s 😂😂😂

Not to mention the thing on the stage with " not 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 in a row" rubbed everyone the wrong way.
“Please plug yourself “😂😂😂
