And despite the fact that he doesn’t speak English, he put a lot of effort to learn by himself the lyrics so that he could give us the pleasure of listening to his voice. He’s come along way with his English since then, though he may never lose his accent , his pronunciation has noticeable improved in his latest songs.

Im no expert and cannot sing at all but am able to recognise incredible vocal ability when i hear it, ive watched many reactions to this masterful performance many by well respected vocal coaches who all have nothing but the highest appreciation and acknowledment of Gabrielles technical agility and ability never heard any focus on any negatives as the whole performance is littered with sublime technical nuances, power, conviction, emotion, need i go on? whilst i take onboard your observations and comments and respect them, i feel your observation of the straining in his voice are unfair given the other elements, indeed every other proffesional vocal analyst has stated he transitions through each part of the song effortlessly and comfortably, thats what im trying to understand with your observations and was a little dissapointed. This is in no way a rant just a heart felt reaction to such a beatiful performance and i was a little surprised by your view and i look forward to your professional educated reply. Many thanks Paul.
