295 fronts is probably the craziest thing about this car. 295 fronts on a street legal aircooled 911. Crazy.
New GT3 stepped up to 255. And people say that's darty. I think 295 is cool in theory, but I don't think any of the owners will be exploiting that complete front end grip any time soon. So I think it puts it at more of a disadvantage for regular canyon driving
As a Avid cyclist I really appreciate the room you give riders when your out in the canyons. Love the test!
You know Zack was cold when he's climbing up canyons to get a shot 🤣
What an amazing sounding engine. Could "Limited to 1 of 25" mean 25 chassis, each "one" custom made? Thanks for doing such a good job of explaining how the engine felt in another great video guys
Might be one of the best looking cars. Wow.
90" Wheelbase in these!? Wow didn't know they were that short. So it's almost a box stance :-)
Really enjoyed having both of you in the car at the same time. Great dynamic and vibe.
Two takes has to the best car reviews on any service!
Man, oh MAN! That interior is gorgeous!
I live up the road in Thousand Oaks and I know how tight some of those roads and turns are. Bravo ripping it up out there! Some of my favorite roads to drive in the world.
Cheers guys, great video.
So impractical, but soooo beautiful!
Love that you drive a little more twisty roads. With those big and wide corners that you use to normally take, the cars kind of feel the same to look at. In the smaller stuff it becomes much more apparent which ones you have to work harder to get something out of or which ones are made for small and twisty roads!
Now I want to see y’all drive the Singer DLS!
I'm sure they want to as well! Matt has talked a few times over the years about Singer and how he was never offered a drive in one of their "regular" cars, let alone a DLS.
I always think of the Beretta as an M9. Great channel keep up the great work.
I remember a podcast where Matt was talking shit and said he wont wear patagonia. Times are changing....
When I went to hit the smash like button it was at 993 how cool is that
I was just checking out this company yesterday! What a suprise
This is the most beautiful 993 ever and all but DAMN IS THAT ENGINE SEXY!!!
Incredible car, great review. Random thought I had when the guys were talking about the Speedster having no roof whatsoever - how do you wash it? Is there some kind of cover to keep water out of the interior but isn't a roof for driving?
@@machtschnell7452 certainly, I’d be concerned if someone drove this through a car wash… but with a hose and washcloths my point still stands
@@samkrahn2867 You don't use a hose. You use two buckets- one with a grit guard and one without. Both have towels/sponges/washmitts. You don't over-spray water on a car like this but tackle the body panels one by one.
@@samkrahn2867 It's really not that hard to imagine. I mean how much pressure does your hose have? Don't powerwash it of course. And there's always the trusty old bucket.
@@samkrahn2867 If you can afford this car it's taken to a high end detailer
Those are some spectacular camera shots around those corners
Guys that was a really good review! 👍
Always enjoy your car reviews. Add some gun reviews for fun.
Incredible car! The 993 has always been my favorite generator of the 911 I think it was the high water mark for Porsche. It was the 1st true modern 911. Is the car worth 800K? Judging by Zach's reaction at 13:26, I'd say yeah!
When you have to basically apologize for mentioning a gun(a classic one at that), you know we are screwed.
He frequently apologizes for being an employed Caucasian on the podcast. It's quite annoying.
Hogue is the brand of formed firearm grip you are talking about. They dont just make them for the 92.
uff perfect video to watch while i build my lego set
Beautiful car, amazing sound. Windshield wipers seem a little superfluous
My TV speakers are interpreting it as a very boomy sound, more like a 4 cylinder.
I'm not sure if that's a good thing but I'm fairly confident it probably gives you a belly resonance like Lambos do if this were to pass you by. It's a bit too much for my liking, then again I'm not a fan of the 993 looks wise...but it does look like a really fun time.
Zacks laugh only matched by the Ferrari 812 GTS, that laugh indicates amazing and expensive driving experiences
I must be falling in love with Porsche or something LMFAO.. that thing looks awesome 😎
Love these machines...still would go for the coupe
Two Californians wearing full cold weather expedition gear, must’ve been below 67 degrees during the shoot...
Very beautiful looking car! 😃
had to google this car after you mentioned it on the podcast with doug. DAMN! thats nice lol
12:46 Sounds like Matt’s next ad read. 😆
Sensational speedster! I was hooked since the first Gunther, that red 400R. It would be great a comparison back to back with a similar concept but more common 718 Spyder with it’s manual transmission and 4.0L engine. About the size of the tires, is that necessary? The car is not mighty powerful and a 295 section front tire usually is used to dial out understeer at the track. Just a curiosity.
Awsome wild ride , for sure!!!
This cottage-industry of metal-massagers and boutique manufacturers are outdoing the big OEMs in producing desirable automobiles, goddamn. I'm sure this costs a million bucks and then some, but I'm also sure I want one of these far more than I want something like LaFerrari.
Drooling here.
Solid car for driving in SoCal canyons on a sunny day!
probably a stupid question... how do you wash the car??? without flooding the interior??
You know you spend too much time in Calli when you're giving trigger warnings for TALKING about a gun.
That LA bubble life really is a thing. The world is a big place, LA is not.
Matt's a leftist wanker, Zach probably is too, unfortunately goes with the territory.
You're literally the people he was talking about. All three of you got triggered by his comment.
@@Zanpaa lol you're obviously wrong dude, if he had just said the steering wheel felt like a pistol grip it would have made perfect sense and made no difference. Him saying that referencing a pistol might trigger people is for all the gun haters.
He loves dove hunting so he's one of these typical limo lefties who think " guns for me, not for thee".
LOL Trigger someone on a Beretta Grip, no worries still in America. In the South esp in Tennessee Car guys and Gun guys are typically the same person ! Awesome car, thanks for the review, better than 99% of us will never see one of these in person they are so rare.
zach is crazy idk how anyone can be anti porsche when theyre literally the best cars ever
Unintentional ad for Patagonia 😉
Love love
Guntherwerks are something else
This car looks phenomenal to drive. Wish I owned one.
14:50 Damn Zack was moving.
This car is awesome! Speedster all the way! But holy hell, this is the first video of yours that made me motion sick...
Man, that jacket can't be safe to operate a half million dollar vehicle. lol
9:00 drone footage without the drone.
Loving this Car !!!
Priced for perfection. Understatement of the year. I said the same thing about my SQ5. Haha. Let’s just say financially humbling.
That is a beast
Amazing to think a company that made spoilers/wheels can craft an entire vehicle- and a good one at that! Makes sense tho. Access to carbon fiber molding, a Rothsport engine(clutch!) Make up your own German sounding name and 💥
if i recall 993's still had floor mounted pedals; remnants of volkswagen DNA. which always made the pedal box feel odd, i would bet this probably retains that feature as well.
I'm in love. Always with that which I can not have. :\
Oh, look! It's Kenny McCormick and his friend, driving a roadster! 😂
Got stuck looking at clouds and reflections in the green. zip!
These guys look like they just escaped from prison, still wearing their orange jumpsuits… and drove like they were on the run. FREEDOM!!!
Lovely
Beautiful car and engine
Beautiful car
Coupe for me as I live in Wales, but what a car
I wish you guys would do a RUF SCR!
"If you are buying this you have a round driveway, and you make sure the radius is correct" Zack Klapman 2022
So jealous to drive this
u guys get the patagonia sponsorship yet?
I live in California, so it's a Speedster for me.
Malibu Canyon looks tighter than a Monte Carlo rally special stage
what a machine!
Awesome.
Fabulous car but can start looking a bit cartoonish - 2020 Ruf Ctr / Str prob better package- as if I had the chance!
@14:38 warpspeed engaged
The reason it says limited to 1 of 25 is because they are committed to making every spec different therefore thy play on exclusivity
Ohhhhh habibi
Sheeeeeeeesh
Coupe pls. That speedster doesn't speak to me
PRICE ?
never clicked so fast in my life
I want to love it, but it's a car that only looks great if you've been heavily drinking. It feels like the bodywork and seat patterns were designed by the same people that created the Plymouth Prowler. Maybe it looks better in person?
That is also my thoughts, looks odd at the front, and three quarters rear view
@@sidewayssam Exactly! The Singer cars look exceptionally well proportioned by comparison. I get they're not as extreme as this car, bug they're worlds more tasteful and timeless.
I like it, but it's not a beautiful car. I think it's more of an acquired taste, you respect it when you appreciate a "normal" 911 and what this does differently.
It definitely looks better in person, the rear fender flares are incredible
This looks like a west coast custom 911.
Nasty nasty nasty, to funny 👍🇺🇸
Kinda want Zack's jacket.
fiya
lol cool license plate
TIL Matt Farah doesnt like power tops... what happened Matt?
10/10
all the stance

*Patagonia,* _ORANGE County_ line
I really think this car would look better draped in Pastrami.
I think i need to see one in real life, the styling, especially three quarters looks odd
Yall look like a bunch of Eskimos who just had their first sports car
You have to choose one Guntherwerks car: Speedster or Coupe?
Speedster all day
speedster
Coupe
Id want the Speedster, but even though I live in San Diego I’d want the Coupe so I’m never restricted from driving my $800k car
Gonna have to say Speedster to hear that epic sound even better.
