Nice project! I would like to add camera vision to it. Some uses of camera vision would be to color/contrast/gradient differences to define a line and stay to one side of the line, which ever side it was originally on. Doing this it can use curbs, sidewalks, driveways, fences, and shrub areas to create a line, then follow the line but to right or left of the line which would keep it on the lawn. Also to define moveable objects in way like balls, sticks, pine cones and rather than avoid them, move them and continue on its path. Could later have an option to pick up these things from the lawn or ground, chuck them in a basket attached for later disposal.. options are limitless.. identify weeds, ant hills etc. Then spot apply pesticide or weed killer. Ok secret is out, yup, wanting to make an autonomous lawn mower.
Any recommendations where I should start as a beginner? I'm not understanding any of the components, what they are, what they do, why we need them etc. Can you direct me to a complete beginner's guide?

Hi, i have a question. Depending on the performances of AI task on these SBCs, which one have the better performance 🤔 Jetson nano or Intel NUC or any Mini Pc that has better specs. By then what is specialty of jetson nano if other mini pc has better performances other than power consumption and extra GPIO ports.

Hi I’m currently doing a similar project video popped up and I’m curious about the ESC you used since I can’t find it anywhere and it would solve all problems I tried using 2 RC ESCS but they burned out and then I tried a motor driver just find out it isn’t compatible with ardupilot so I’m kinda stuck on that if anyone’s it would be super helpful

One question is why not use a hub motor, they are in wheel and would save space inside the chassis.
