@@stevequinton2579 You’ll know that road to Honey Street well then…It’s my favourite for giving medium powered bikes the beans 😄.. The little CFMOTO 450 SR that I tested was the most entertaining I think..👍 ATB
What a great sounding machine, reminds me of my old cb500t, sounds like you like it as well and your right that new coffee machine does excellent drinks👍😎
Nice ride Dickie, thanks for the tip re the barge and the mill cafe, I generally meet a mate at choppers for brunch but will now give the mill a try. All the best and ride safe.
@@Merthyr-Dave Thanks Dave..If your the Dave I think you are ,I want to come and film your bike at some point ..It’ll be an interesting vlog I reckon and nice to catch up again 👍
Good Morning Dickie , The bike looks & sounds great plus a lovely ride out , i have to say some of your roads look shocking tbh , so take care & ride safe
@@stevecoppin4278 They we’re the good ones Steve 😆.. Roads are getting worse and worse in the UK..I’ll do a vlog on potholes in the road I reckon..You’ve started something now 😄👍
Just to say really good video. I also have a Euro five continental gt and had the same problem with the Fuel X. Register your fuel x then contact the company. They sent me a replacement from India direct. There appears to be a discrepancy between Europe 4 and 5 supplied to uk distributors. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the video Dickie, love that exhaust, sounds mint. The scenery you have there is absolutely stunning, the road conditions look to be about the same as where I live in Australia, not the best condition. That front suspension upgrade sounds good. The new Royal Enfield Bear 650 looks like a nice bike to, they seem to be coming out with some good looking bikes at he moment.
@@waynehiggs6529 Bear would be good for OZ I reckon..Mind you , you could buy a used interceptor Chuck a few hundred quids worth of parts on it and have a very similar looking thing.. 👍ATB
A quick glance down at the twin clocks, bar end mirrors and shiney tank and then the engine note when you lit it up, took me back to my old Mate's Triton about 1966..😊
Great video! I've done basically the same mods to my Interceptor but fortunately mine is a euro 4 so no engine light. The 2 into 1 gives it noticeably more torque in the mid range doesn't it? To be honest I mainly fitted mine because it makes the bike so much narrower so it fits in my tiny garage better!
@@dancarter2963 Well , that’s a good a reason as any I guess.. A lot lighter too.. You definitely get more torque with that pipe combined with a filter..Thanks for watching Dan..👍ATB
I didn’t know you had one of those Dickie? I love mine and have the same mods. 4 years old but only done 1.8k miles. Definitely my “Sunday morning” ride 🙄.
Amazing video, the pub by the canal, country roads. Looks like you've turned me into a bit of a Enfield fan, I wasn't before, but this bike looks and sounds great, the 2 into 1 definitely helped. Hows the power changed since doing that with those pipes.
@@paulsilson2148 Hi Paul..It’s a lot more tractable as in more torque.. I really am smitten with this bike.. They truly are good well built quality motorcycles ..It hasn’t gone silly in the capacity stakes like Triumph has.. It’s a good honest traditional motorcycle with a button for your trip meter and that’s it..😄👍
That’s interesting about the FuelX causing a light to come on. I have a Euro 5 Himalayan 411 with the FuelX Lite, and it hasn’t done that. A lovely looking bike, but it needs one thing. I’ve seen a rear seat cowl that matches the fuel tank. That would finish it off nicely. Btw, did I see you mooching about at the Calne Bike Meet a few months ago?
@@dazzaoutandabout4870 Basically what you call a stage one ..Pipes /filter and carb / fuelling tune ..Makes for a better more linear ride ..Engine is a lot happier .. Less restrictions and more importantly, less heat…👍ATB
The Conti is the nicest looking of the RE 650s, including the forthcoming ones. I'm very tempted by the alloy wheeled version with the stripes, which I imagine is the kind of thing Royal Enfield UK would have made if they'd lasted until the late 1970s.
No doubt..Go buy one 😉... .My view is that the current Royal Enfield company has more heritage and lineage than the Bloor Triumph group...Throw that one into the mix.😯😄
Piece of black tape over the light Dickie ! I was going to go for a "fuel plug" on Phil's outfit but dont think you can get the light to go off ? Interested to see if there's a fix ! They basically tell the motor its running cool and richen the mixture. The one thing that made the interceptor run well was swapping out the "crap cheap" relays out for Hishcocs ones ( bosche basically! ) Top vid 👍
Nice video Dickie and that's a Great bike, it makes you smile and that's what counts. When you walked into Bike Treads I couldn't see my Interceptor, they must have moved it into the workshop:)
I’m lucky enough to have a few bikes Jonathan.. I tend not to sell stuff 😄… The Continental is my favourite and the most engaging bike of them all to ride.. 👍 ATB

That video for me just about sums up motorcycling, simple bikes fun rides out through the countryside! Cheers.
