FANGS/Marty, thank you for using your profession to be a good steward of these wonderful animals! And I was so impressed that you were against the slaughter of countless animals by trophy hunters in Africa. And the contrast in the way the African tribes respected their land and animals. Exploiting these majestic animals by paying a few crooked people doesn’t justify such evil!

What a lovely comment, thank you Marjorjorie. This truly makes my day. So grateful for people who educate on the ills of trophy hunting. It's messaging that needs to be spread often and loudly until trophy hunting and other cruel practices are stopped.

Marty Stouffer, way before his time. Gave us so much insight into the wonderful wildlife we love. Thanks so much Fangs ❤

Imagine what Marty and mark could have done with the drone and camera technology of today. I fell in love with his work as a kid watching Wild America and it is still some of the greatest outdoor footage ever shot IMO

I was literally thinking the same thing today. It almost breaks my heart they missed the tech boom we live in. Still, they managed to capture amazing stuff. And they basically created the nature show format as they went. What they did with so much less is just … inspiring.

Love this show used to watch it when i was a kid. I don't hunt to get close to the animals or for their head gear, i hunt for the meat. Always have.

I was raised on eating dinner and watching Wild America. His philosophy of capturing an animal with a camera is in line with the indigenous people of this beautiful land, 'touching' an enemy and escaping alive. He would not be happy with anyone remotely affiliated with the 'Tiger King'. While rabbit screams still give me PTSD, his wonder of the world is what will follow me to the end.

I’m so thankful he didn’t take part in, nor did he approve of all the unnecessary trophy killings. And it affected him so much that it inspired him to support the lives of animals! His voice is so comforting and familiar to hear after all these years.

Thanks, Craig. While I'm glad the number of trophy hunters continues to diminish, it breaks my heart to know this brutal pastime is still being practiced. Still, I remain hopeful for the future. All my best to you and yours.
