2021 updates: -Don't use a thick channel, you will strain the internal spring. - The channel slightly more angled than the old handle so adjust your pole work accordingly. - check out my "Quick Tip Tuesdays " for modification if your chosen channel starts to slip around.
I usually use Wagtail tools (some with Moerman channels), an excelerator 2.0 was just bought and am excited to work with it. One MOD I would do is Ettore pro blades in it, my go to blades.
Very interesting, I used to like Moerman but had some bad experiences with it. I started wagtailing and love it. But I know that handle has negative setting to compete with Wagtail's angle adapter. I glad you enjoy them. Another great video.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mine should arrive tomorrow if USPS tracking is accurate...lol...I also ordered the Dr. Angle but Detroit sponge said they wont be available for 2 more weeks...I think the combo is going to revolutionize the industry. There shouldn't be any windows that cant be cleaned perfectly now.
Trad - Man yeah it’s been a real game changer! Just the fact that the channel stays put gives it two thumbs up in my book! I’ve also been using the liquidator channel allot more with this handle but I still use the brass channel😋.
Great video. Really helpful as I am jew to the industry and want to try that handle just wasn't sure. After watching I think I am going to give it a try. Also where did you get the belt. I need one like that that green is part of my color scheme. Again great job with the video.
Rich McCann awesome! Definitely be patient with yourself starting out with any swivel pole technique, it’ll be difficult until you learn the ins and outs. Some have said the swivel is a bit stiff and squeaky but I’ve found it loosened up after about a week or two of use. Definitely go check out Tradman, window cleanse, SteveO and Luke’s channel for beginner to advanced swivel techniques and of course nothing beats just jumping in the deep and and doing it yourself 😉.
MacGyver Bryan I will once I find a decent padded tool belt which fits my waist. Most are built for men so it’s hard to find ones that fit and last awhile.
@@heatherthewindowwoman4835 Unger makes a padded belt setup. I found that nylon nail bags are versetile and modular in tool storage. Check out the Samurai hip bucket, it custom configures to your needs . It is a "buy once cry once" price however pays itself.
@@macgyverbryan1377 I definitely want to buy the samurai BOAN! Unfortunately the Unger belt was so cheap, I bought it once and returned it the same day. Needless to say I'm picky about my belt setup lol.
@@heatherthewindowwoman4835 definitely be picky about the tools that make the money. My belt was 150.00 to make, it's been going for 10 years plus. Only this year one of the two nail bags needed replacing.
You really like those Brass Ettore channels huh? I’ll admit that Ettore Rubber is the best in the business, but I’d just cut them, and run them in a liquidator channel. Outside of an Ettore brass 6” squeegee for French panes, I have not used a brass Ettore channel since I was like 17, 18. So more than 2 decades.
Bob Zanveghana yes indeed I do👍. I've been trying to get better with the liquidator but always have that "zipper" effect . I'll get better at it I just have to get used to it.
@@heatherthewindowwoman4835 try cutting a the Ettore blade half the angle from the edge in the Moerman channel. This also decreases the tip end lifting while fanning. I've noticed using brass channels the weight is noticable. Feels like an anchor chain in a kite.
MacGyver Bryan I actually switched over to the S Channels and love those but every once in awhile I’ll get the zipper effect. So I’ll try this technique you mentioned and see if it helps👍 thanks 😊
@@heatherthewindowwoman4835 yup, pretty sure I found out the hard way and ruined mine cuz now the screw goes loose everytime I unlock it to get a side angle with it.
@@heatherthewindowwoman4835 the ninja threads on the screw broke cuz i tried torqueing them to get the handle to swivel. lol i dont own the moerman yet but ill def try. i see how steve o uses brass that stuffs gnarly. i dont know how hes not broken the handle yet.
My go to handle and brass combo!!!!! A dream to Hold. The gold standard baby! Made a lot of money with that setup.

I'd definitely give it another try. If you do garden windows or skylights thise negative angle's have been a life saver😉
Awesome video. Now I know the difference between the two. The new one certainly looks better designed.
It does. I'll be doing an update video about some issues I've found over a year using this handle.
Nice vid girl. Got my handle today and it works superb even with the lig channels. Great improvement they made. Lovin it.
Hans DK yes! They really listened and improved👍🏻, pretty rare in this industry.
I think this new handle by Moerman is great too

Great review Heather
Great review 👍
I have the 2.0 and the swivel keeps unlocking randomly....weird
window woman.. lol, never thought of it. haha awesome.
Can you just slap a ettore brass into standard 2.0 handle? you didnt mod the teeth?
No I didn't modify the teeth at all.
I like your belt, have you done a belt tour video?

why dont they use it.. normally? you have to cut it apart and add duct tape to use a brass channel...
i have the ninja and it wont fan. even tho you can unlock it.. whats going on here?

TEETH?
Oh! The teeth 😬. No I didn't remove those, you'll definitely need that for grip.
then why are my teeth on 2.0 deformed (crushed) they are no longer sharp but have become dull
