Oyo LG Elections: PDP Wins All 33 Council Areas

The winner-take-all mentality in our politics is becoming legendary. It was a landslide victory for the People's Democratic Party, PDP in all the 33 local government areas of Oyo State in the council elections held at the weekend. Reacting to the victory, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja called on candidates of other political parties to accept the outcome in good faith. In a similar fashion, candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC emerged victorious in all the 11 local government areas of Gombe State at the council elections on Saturday.
