Poor guy, our case IH axial flow nearly caught fire a couple of years ago, when a flint caught on one of the moving parts, 🤞 he gets a new combine and can continue farming! Another great video! 🚜🔥
Another great video, you gave me a fright when I first saw the notification, sorry for your neighbor losing their machine. I liked the good karma of finding the drill bit :-) the sunflowers look amazing, and then finding the cat just topped it off.
Another cracking video, must take some effort each day so fair play. I would look to change those door hinges on the log cabin with some decent storm hinges, they tend to pull down and rip out of the frame after some time, especially if the doors are used regularly.
90% again today. Good news for the cat, awful news for your neighbour. It poured with rain in Preston town centre but only a few spots between there and Southport.
Another great video had about 5 minutes rain today not enough to even lay the dust all the storms seem to be missing us in Gloucester.Glad the cat has gone back to its rightful owner happy days for them.
Old Claas Dominators used to catch fire easily as the engine was behind the cab right over the drum in all the dust. The one my dad used to drive burnt out while being filmed by local news about how the dry summer was affecting farmers 😂
There have been a few combines catch fire here in Wiltshire over the last few years. It doesn't take much to start a fire in a combine. Very frightening as they go up so quickly.
Poor bloke losing his combine. I can’t imagine the pain. I’m on a new Holland group on Facebook in France and it seems like it’s sadly a commun occurrence on the CX’s especially the tracked version. Can’t remember the reason but it’s something due to something creating friction. Is it easy to join a young farmers club/ association? Probably be looking into joining one in February
Hi Olly, gosh that is sad to see the burnt out machine, well done on rehoming the cat, you are a very kind man. The sunflowers bring a smile. Some rain here. You take care and get an early night.
A Panthra (black) cat. We have one. It's manipulative, devious, a con artist (food wise), and conducts psychological warfare. You never win. We basically got ours the same way, walked into our lives. No regrets.
Its a tragedy when farms have a fire. It's always massively destructive whether it be machinery or Hay/straw. A local contractor to me lost his lexion last season in a field of wheat. Some surfaces on modern combines during harvesting can reach 500 deg C so its more important than ever to keep them free of residue build up. I hope Anthony gets sorted ASAP with another machine.
Years ago had an old combine catch fire, was able to put it out with very little damage, well that was a mistake would have been better off with the insurance money!!hahaha!
We had a combine smoldering last year luckily my Uncle got it out before the combine went on fire but it was like £1000 so we sold it and bought a class lexion 580, we have a few stray cats but their useless at keeping the rats away
The plastic is pretty nasty too, I have had to deal with a few burned out cars due to working in the motortrade and had to recover a few stolen/burned out cars from fields/housing estates/the rear of a firefighters social club(my own fecking car) and the first thing I was told by a firefighter when I arrived to collect the first one is don't touch the plastic with bare hands whatever you do.
Hard work for any business that has a fire 🔥, will need a lot of help to get back on with the harvest, not a bad day today a drop in 1 tablet 78% today
Hate to see machinery on fire I know it’s insured but it still costs in the long run. Very surprised you parked you combine in the shed after it had been working, only thing worse than a combine fire is a combine fire in a shed with other machinery 😮 I don’t know how people cope in the really hot countries as the hotter it gets the more balers and combines seem to go up in smoke. Enough doom and gloom sunflowers looking good. Maze is some way behind Millennial farmer some of his 8 to 10ft tall, amazing
I´ve seen straw in a field burn, that reportedly caught fire inside the harvester and got spit out while already on fire. That must´ve been a sight. Harvester is fine though. Only the straw burnt for some reason.
Shame about the combine Olly, is it close to your farm ?? Seeing your combine in the dark seems to make it look so much bigger. I love driving tractors in the dark, especially ploughing😉. Thanks for another good video Olly 👍
As bad as it is to lose the combine, that can be replaced. The main thing is nobody was hurt. A brand new Lexion went up locally last week. A lot of the field was burnt also. My old boss lives across the road from the field it was working in said he never heard noise like it.
Do combines not have sort of fire suppression system? They seem to catch fire really easily. Does your combine have a light underneath it pointing backwards? If so why?
evening olly, its always bad news when a combine catches fire, it happend to me with a massey ferguson but i was lucky with a fire extinguisher, to be honest i dont think you can beat CLAAS, nice content again cheers.
Good skills with the wood chip matey and I bloody jumped a mile when that tyre or gas strut blew on the combine. As for the lads with their phones that's the youth of today for ya,god I sound like my dad now so must be getting old lol. Also well done and your a top man for reuniting the cat with its family owners
Hi Olly I just wanted to say I hope the person that was driving that combine is okay and I’m glad that that cat is back with their owners and I’m a 100%
There seems to be alot of combine fires in the UK.It must be because there so many. Here in Ireland 🇮🇪 you only ever here of the odd one or two burning down.
i was binge watching 3 vlogs today cos iv'e been working, got up to make a brew just as i heard you say i,m just emptying into adam, thank god it was wheat.
Watch your combine doesn't go on fire harvesting them! I combined sunflowers in Kansas and had to blow combines down several times a day to prevent fires. Still no rain here! 🤦♂️
I really hope after seeing that you have order 30 fire extinguishers, place them in each vehicle, its worth spending a few hundred quid if one day it could save your vehicles or even a life. I got one in my car after watching my friends BMW 2002 going up in flames
Infact id even contact the fire brigade and see if they will come to your farm and give a talk on putting out vehicle fires etc, im sure they would help in some way
Genuinely thoughts omg 😲when I saw the video title with the kids being off school and them lighting fires all over the place in the past I thought you'd lost yours I'd have full cctv of the machine sheds if I were you just to sleep at night you probably already do tho.
Gutted for that guy. His pride and job up in flames. Let's hope his insurance is up to scratch. Shame I hate seeing this kind of stuff but also enjoy it in a strange way. Poor guy. 6:04 what a bit of luck LOL. Buy a lotto ticket not that you need the money. Thought Jimmy S was still alive at 9:11 LOL.

Amazing to see how little there is always left of the combine cab. The maze looks great now in full flower.
Same thing happened to Mike Mitchells combine, devastating, glad nobody got hurt. Congrats on the 19k subs! Great content as always
Yer he made good vid breaking it up
Sounds like you got you had the same rain as we had over here but we had thunderstorms as well 👍🇮🇲
Poor bloke losing his combine. I can’t imagine the pain. I’m on a new Holland group on Facebook in France and it seems like it’s sadly a commun occurrence on the CX’s especially the tracked version. Can’t remember the reason but it’s something due to something creating friction.

Yer google your local one
I hope a local dealer is in a position to lend Anthony a combine.
Great video Olly, combine looked a beast coming down the road with all its lights on 👍
Hi Olly, gosh that is sad to see the burnt out machine, well done on rehoming the cat, you are a very kind man. The sunflowers bring a smile. Some rain here. You take care and get an early night.
Excellent video. Gutted to see the combine.
A Panthra (black) cat. We have one. It's manipulative, devious, a con artist (food wise), and conducts psychological warfare. You never win. We basically got ours the same way, walked into our lives. No regrets.
It’s cool looking at a combine coming back into the yard after dark
Great News about the Cat well done. Nothing wose than having to clean up a burned up machine.
Good Samaritan finding the owner of the lovely black moggy 👍
niec to see numbers going up mate keep up the good work 👍
Shame about the combine, the farmer must be devastated. Well done with the cat, what a result. Log cabin looks the business. Strong 97%
Thank you for trying to help that cat not many would
Oh olly ! I’ve just got to the end. What a good thing that whiteboard is. Yes lad. Good wingman

Combine fires are just a matter of time, with so much dust and a hot engine, blow it all off after harvest, my mate used to do..
Great video olly had to have a laugh about the combine the number plate is still on it after all that heat 😢
Awesome news about the cat being reunited. Gutted for that guy losing his combine like that.
We have stray cat that we’ve given a home..it loves eating doesn’t scare anything walks past pigeons likes defending his patch from other cats..
Brilliant video Olly, thank you 👍
Great blogs very addictive from Crowborough East Sussex
You should engineer a automatic fire extinguisher system in combine engine compartment once it gets hotter than normal it kicks on.
Years ago had an old combine catch fire, was able to put it out with very little damage, well that was a mistake would have been better off with the insurance money!!hahaha!
Sunflowers looking well hope my sunflower shoots away soon. nice to hear Mr Cat has gone back home poor thing looked scared
Great video olly the combine has lights on it
We had a combine smoldering last year luckily my Uncle got it out before the combine went on fire but it was like £1000 so we sold it and bought a class lexion 580, we have a few stray cats but their useless at keeping the rats away
Saw the pic and thought bloody hell that didnt last long.
Please olly don’t let anyone touch the burnt rubber without gloves ,it’s carcinogenic highly dangerous, had a nice thunderstorm here in Norfolk 👨🌾👍
Wow didn’t know that! Like most people never give it a thought, farmers and gloves are not the best of partners
Hard work for any business that has a fire 🔥, will need a lot of help to get back on with the harvest, not a bad day today a drop in 1 tablet 78% today

Nice cat story Olly that will be very happy family tonight thanks to your efforts , 😻but it did look pretty happy in your Range Rover👍
That's probably the third or fourth combine I've seen go up in flames this year
I´ve seen straw in a field burn, that reportedly caught fire inside the harvester and got spit out while already on fire. That must´ve been a sight.
Harvester is fine though. Only the straw burnt for some reason.

Thanks for another good video Olly 👍
Got to say, most people would have just jumped in the car and left that wee cat where it was. Top job
As bad as it is to lose the combine, that can be replaced. The main thing is nobody was hurt. A brand new Lexion went up locally last week. A lot of the field was burnt also. My old boss lives across the road from the field it was working in said he never heard noise like it.
CNH on fire again. Harvest 2021 just started in the uk. Fresh Popcorn in fields move over Shrawberris mmmm
What is that stuff called you fill your tyres with to stop punctures?
Oko
Do combines not have sort of fire suppression system? They seem to catch fire really easily. Does your combine have a light underneath it pointing backwards? If so why?
I don’t think anyone has a factory option for a suppression kit but they are certainly available as retro fit.
To see wheels in mirror when manoeuvring in dark
evening olly, its always bad news when a combine catches fire, it happend to me with a massey ferguson but i was lucky with a fire extinguisher, to be honest i dont think you can beat CLAAS, nice content again cheers.
I love the sound of the hydraulics going back and forth with the bucket shaking, theyre trying so hard to keep ip
19k ! Woo Hoo ! 👍👍👍
I drove past that this evening, no one there and it was still smouldering.
Keep up with the subs and they will start to pay for the combine as well!! 🤣
Keep up the great work!! 👍
Good skills with the wood chip matey and I bloody jumped a mile when that tyre or gas strut blew on the combine.

Great video again
Curious to know what will you do with the sunflowers after the maze shuts? harvest them and make oil?
Yes harvest them
Sunflower 🌻 field looks class 👌🤙🤙👍👍
Sad bout combine and Hope he getting sorted out very soon 🥲🥲
Hi Olly I just wanted to say I hope the person that was driving that combine is okay and I’m glad that that cat is back with their owners and I’m a 100%
Yer he’s fine
Finally had a little drop off rain in kings Lynn Norfolk uk this afternoon
We had thunder storms in the North East of Scotland last night after a 3 week drout
Reversing your header with the merlo is the same as doing a reverse pushback on a aircraft
great video
Love a happy ending 😂😂
Poor guy, place I worked at one had a JD tractor go up in flames and that was only headge cutting
There seems to be alot of combine fires in the UK.It must be because there so many. Here in Ireland 🇮🇪 you only ever here of the odd one or two burning down.
Where did the fire start on combine
i was binge watching 3 vlogs today cos iv'e been working, got up to make a brew just as i heard you say i,m just emptying into adam, thank god it was wheat.
On the thumbnail pic I thought it was the claas harvester and I was like nah lad it can’t be coz it is brand new
Do you know what caused that combine to catch on fire?
Do you not think given the cost of farm equipment there should be a fire suppression system add to them
havnt had rain in 6 weeks where im at. Still no sign haha
I thought the number one rule was to put diesel in the merlo 😂😂😂
The cat is so cute 😻
A brand new claas went up in Ireland last week 11 hours on the clock
Yer I saw
I feel for the guy and his combine
Olly try the cats protection league they will get you cats for the farm and help you settle them in 95% today
And it’s dumped with rain in Suffolk today.
Quick advert for my local farm for your viewers try fiddlers Lancashire crisps and support local farmers 👍
My second cousin is married to a fiddler
19k👍 poor man and his combine, strange how the number plate survived the fire, still to wet to combine here
Strange what does survive in a fire sometimes
it's taken them how long to put up that shed
Well done you for rescuing the poor cat great end to the story 👍
Connie wants someone with a load of land... queue the Wurzels singing combine harvester....
You are a legend !
Are you going to combine the sun flowers it will be interesting to watch
Prob yer
I worked on a farm many years ago in Covington Cambridge which was the first to grow sun flowers country file did a piece on it
Watch your combine doesn't go on fire harvesting them!
I combined sunflowers in Kansas and had to blow combines down several times a day to prevent fires.
Still no rain here! 🤦♂️

That's a horrible thing to say , why wouldn't his insurance be up to scratch? You calling Antony a crook?
@@irishfarmer8332 🧐What you dribbling on about?
Well at least the wheat would be dry from the new holland
Great Video again Olly Do you Harvest the Sunflowers when they have finished?
Yes will do
I saw a beatmen
Did you work out a way of doing the sunflower maze for charity, removing it from the farm business and not having to pay tax?
Not with out setting up a charity that takes ages but got capital allowances from machine purchases this year
9:00 hahaha
Oh dear it’s rather toast
Did the cat hang a around
Ahh but it’s a hybrid not a rotary…
Was this in a field along m62
