Pastor Awuah, I really like your messages, but your teaching on Spirit, Soul and Body is not Scriptural. God is a Spirit, not a soul(John 4:24). God created us in His image. We are spirit beings . When God breathed into man, He breathed into Man His Spirit to make man a living soul. The Greek word for breath, spirit or wind is Puema, meaning air. Remember Jesus breathed on the disciples and said received the Holy Spirit(John 20:22). God's breath is His Spirit not Soul. We are created as Spirit beings in the image of God. Therefore , the body without the spirit is dead( James 2:26). Any body without the spirit is dead instantly, the soul does not gives life, it is the spirit that gives life to the soul. When your became Born again, it is your spirit that becomes born again( John 3:3:8). Every man, has a Sprit and Soul and lives in a body from the womb. We learn in the soulish realm, which is our mind, emotions, will, but we are spirit beings with a soul, they are both together. Please without the spirit, the soul is dead. This starts from inception of the womb of the mother. God told Jeremiah, before you were formed in your mother womb, I knew you.(Jer. 1:5). If a baby does not have a spirit in the mothers womb, the baby is dead. There are so many spirits in the world we adapt and the devil intentions to control people. That is something different compare to inception of man from the womb with the spirit, soul and body. When a baby is born, he/she has life from God, which is God's spirit , soul and lives in a body. Please don't take it personal, even Paul told the Berea to check the scriptures what he teaches. I will appreciate if you can double check this topic.
