There is not another album 💿 even close to this fine peace of art 🖼 absolute a true gift 🎁 to us ! English is poor language let the music talk on its own One ☝🏽 giant Leap is finest music album exist to humanity ! Respect ✊ 🙏🏼
I'm so happy I found this again, I was a lot younger when my parents introduced this to us :) it was so different, such boppin tunes and a way to get us out of our own bubbles! Thinking about other cultures, world music, in a way that was fun! And in a way that feels like everyone is brought together, to appreciate each other's traditional/modern sounds. And now I'm about to embark on my own project that will hopefully get kids thinking about music and sounds from outside their worlds :) I hope I can get them inspired in the way that growing up with this music inspired me
It's been years since I watched the movie/listened to these songs. These tracks still give me chills and makes my eyes water but in a good way. This music is so moving, it hits deep in the soul. Fantastic all around.
Oh yes. This is EXACTLY what a poet needs to hear. Yep. Definitely pre-destiny, in terms of the ancestral call. That's more than an 'Oh yes' from this quarter. Anything which brings me closer to my people, is home. #NoIdentityCrisisHere Cheers for posting!
Escuché este álbum en 2015 en Argentina en un taller de Bioconstrucción de Jorge Belanko. Hermosas vibras. La canción a la que siempre vuelvo es a la de Baaba Maal
Immortal classic "world music" album... a gorgeous celebration of life on earth (as it shall forever be, once we rid ourselves of parasitic mind viruses that prey on our deep psyches as biophobic religious memes!)

Not to sound too obvious, but what a fuckin tune!!! Brings to mind old school "Banco De Gia" or even "Enigma", but it's it's own thing too!
