Good explanation Dr, Sir how we get to know that we hve reached the DEJ and now we hve to remove only. 0.2 mm of dentin, I know that enamel if harder than dentin, so we can feel softness during prepration, But how exactly we get to know we hve reached beyond DEJ
@@Aspire32 ,That is rt sir, Sir can we check with the help of 245 bur, as by its dimensions I mean if bur goes more than half into the prepared cavity, that time we should be having idea that bur has reached into the dentin, as normal thickness of enamel is 2 -2.5 mm

sir i m confuse in material choice for my tooth... it is front center upper tooth.. just below gumline.. i filled with gic but it melted.. now again cavity formed.. i have to fill again... if i put composite.. will it irritate and caus epain to gums.. any other best strong material ?
I wish to do that in future. But making one good video takes almost a week with sound recording and video editing. I am currently concentrating on DM, Cons and Endo. I will try to do few on other subjects too :)
At the end you should only concentrate on revision and not taking too many nee books. Revising the subject's you always find tough should be your priority

It depends on the area of restoration. Since GIC Bonds chemically, it may require very minimal preparation
