13:20 - lol Chris really said if you don’t throw enough interceptions, you’re not trying to win the game. So let me get this straight: - When Brock threw in Green Bay game, Simms ripped him for the 4 bad throws (which Simms also later increased to 7 bad throws). - But when Josh Allen throws interceptions, they're okay bc he's trying to help his team win ... ? Riiight.
Well what he means is the old days of Drew brees throwing for 75 completion percentage and throwing single digit interceptions are over. Teams and defenses are to good now, if you’re being conservative or not taking any chances and not trying to win the game then your ass will be in the bench. All the good quarterbacks in football right now are aggressive and take chances. Patrick mahomes threw 14 interceptions this year the chiefs won the Super Bowl, Matthew Stafford led the league with 18 interceptions in 2021 and the rams won the Super Bowl.
I love Brock but I understand the narrative. He isn’t just knocked for having a consistently top 3 roster, he also benefits from a top 3 offensive mind of the last decade (at the least). Compare that to Josh Allen and his roster/coaching. This is part of Simms criteria. Having said this, Brock is the man and is a damn winner. He just needs to continue this play to get the recognition when considering all factors to most people.
Not all interceptions are created equal. When you have to take risks for your team to win in general vs needing to not take unnecessary risks because your team is good enough to win without them, it would stand to reason that your interceptions would be more acceptable/understandable.
Simms is alluding to Allen has to take chances and help his team make aggressive plays to have a chance to win. Purdy has a much better roster, explosive players, great coach so he can be more conservative as a QB and his team still win.
Yet another reason why Simms is better in every way than Ahmed. We know that Simms is a Giants fan. We know that Ahmed is a Lions fan. But Simms doesn’t turn every conversation into his own wishes for the Giants. Ahmed makes every topic somehow about him and his Lions. And it’s not funny. Yet another example of Ahmed trying to be funny and being so far off it makes you wonder where he ever got the idea that he could tell a joke or do a bit. He’s terrible.
It's hilarious how much of the same comments are being made, I was wondering where all the new listeners came from. Mad because Chris said stuff he's been saying for years lmao. People really do just ride with whatever QB is on their team based on nothing else

The mvp race being decided by the qb who gets the one seed is so fucking unbelievably stupid. Its most valuable player not most valuable team. Voting needs and overhaul
I disagree about the interception narrative. Strongly. Qb fumbles are usually the faulty protection of someone else. Interceptions can only happen if the qb throws it when and where they did regardless of the other factors. I am also surprised no one likes Lamar to repeat as mvp. He did get 49 of the 50 votes without good statistics. If the Ravens run away with the 1 seed again while Lamar has good numbers because all of a sudden he has a Centaur to hand the ball to instead of a 2nd or 3rd string rb like usual. The Ravens have 2 elite te targets to compliment and score tds off what should be an overwhelming running game that forces them into predictable single coverage.
