I just turned 21 20 years ago when this album came out went to Best Buy at midnight and bought it. One of the best bands ever !!!!!! I have seen them live 22 times and each time get better and better
Recently got into this song after I heard Breaking Benjamin cover this. Friend of mine told me to listen to Godsmack's version of this. I was not disappointed, great song (Alongside I Stand Alone)!
who fucking cares, did you like it like tommy... just kidding. it did the same for me, GODSMACK BROTHERS!, no homo. not like there's anything wrong with that
Well, i'm 31 and only i can say.....FUCKING LOVE GODSMACK!!!! all the songs, lyrics, and videos. They just make my day better every time i listen to them
Perfect synchronization with the guitars and the drums before, and through, the solo. The entire song is perfect, in beat, speed, sound, and over all fucking Rockin' Power.
godsmack , their songs used for so many things , mtvs fear , military commercial , scorpion king , just to name a few . and despite all of that their music still kicks you in the balls and tells you to get down and give me 20 !!! lol
Saw these boys in San Antonio back in the day. They sounded like they do on the record, their stage was chains, candles, red lights and gargoyles. IT WAS FKING AWESOME!
This band is so great. Their music brings me back to when i was deep in my addiction and y'know, even though it seems like that would be a bad thing..sometimes it's nice to remember how miserable it was. It's like it helps me not go back there. Hope this makes sense, it's almost 3 AM so my brain's a bit foggy haha. Anyway godsmack is the shit.
Kick ass! I heard this song on Road Rash and it was my favorite song for a while but I didn't know the name or artist. Heard it yesterday for the first time in 2 years and I still love it!
it's your haters that make you feel alive. seeing all the hate they are wasting their time on. obviously you do mean something to them.. that alone should make you feel alive..
There are so many parts of this that are identical to "Releasing the Demons" which is my favorite tune from these dudes!! They're not even close to Pantera/Slayer, but Godsmack's cool! 🤘
I remember hearing this when the commercial 1st came out. Didn't really pay attention to it. Just recently, in a span of a few weeks, the beat and music was on my mind heavily for some odd reason. From that point on, I frantically listened to Satellite Radio hoping I'd catch it, when all I had to do was ask Google a question that lead me here. Oh, yeah...A brotha like this tune. 👊🏽😎
Doing World History... Hated it at first, but after a while I decided the obvious, it's important to know what "really" happened in the past. So with this information they've given us I started paying attention a little more (lol should have always been paying attention). After reading all about the ethnic cleansing, numerous wars, arms races, threats, broken treaties, and millions killed, listening to songs like these has given me a new way to view and relate to music.
i guess it's just me, but I've never seen any real reason to care about the past (sure, i like learning about wars and such, but that could be because i somewhat have a fascination with death.) but, the winner writes the history, so clearly it is biased towards the winner. and all the atrocities of the winner will be forgotten. this is why Germans during WWII are seen as "evil" instead of normal humans. which cannot be neither "good" or "evil" considering i say neither concept actually exists, i see all things from an unbiased view because i see myself as an observer, and not as a human.
thetimmon Okay yea I somewhat understand where you are coming from, all the new textbooks and information on the past may have been completely made up, or at least for the most part it is true, but some things are changed to make others look better. Regardless I did not say I believe everything I breathe, that would be irresponsible, just like it would be irresponsible to completely dismiss our past and not care about what happened. I also am an observer, although I don't understand how a human cannot see themselves as a human, because the obvious is right before their eyes we are human. Anyway, the reason why I think it is important to learn history is because we need to know things that happened for example WWII, I don't believe half the things they say in textbooks, but when I look further into it I see the truth, or what may have been regardless, I am always a skeptic. I don't believe Hitler was truly bad, he had good intentions, it was Heinrich Himmler who decided to begin the so called "ethnic cleansing." Hitler went along with it because Himmler was his right hand man. The main point is to learn the mistakes, and what led to them, how to avoid them, or better yet completely prevent them from happening and further more create a better civilization and economy. Our so called "economy" does the opposite of what an economy is supposed to do. But to conclude this will never happen because everyone is stupid. Thank you here is my essay.
Marko Topalovic As for you, I don't usually label or categorize people, but you would be among the stupid kinds of people we have, that restrict us from further advancement in our human race.
So this week i was up in Ridgecrest/Inyokern delivering and usually i listen to 93.1 jack fm and since up there it switches to 93.1 the mountain i heard this song play and it just reminds me of my childhood playing Dave mirra bmx 2 as a kid. I still remember my dad bringing it home from his weekly Costco run, He would bring home a game when me and my brother excelled in our school report cards
You inject so much personality into the making of this video... I enjoyed it very much! And I agree with you... Godsmack does, indeed, own. And 13 ppl (points up to the dislikes) have no personality.
