fun look :) emilynoel83 Have you tried rinsing your hair with apple cider vinegar? That helps me with my hair. Once a week in the shower, after shampoo, pour some ACV over your scalp (i put it in a squeeze bottle....be careful, put your head back and don't get it in your eyes), and then rinse out....first time I tried it I found that my second day hair looked like first day hair! your hair might smell vinegary for a little until you dry it. good luck and

emily the sonia kashuk chic luminosity isn't a highlighter! its kind of the same idea as the hourglass ambient lighting powder, it reflects light without there being any sparkle what so ever, which means its mostly used for setting under eye to brighten, or the centre of the face! so thats probably why u aren't seeing too much result as a cheek highlighter!
I have very dry skin and the SK powder is PERFECT for setting my makeup! It feels so light. With other powders they all cling to my dry skin and feel cakey. With the SK powder it feels so light and makes my skin look great. Awesome for setting foundation for dry skin! :)

I love in Washington state and we have zero snow. It hasn't snowed here all winter. So...we haven't had a winter. Just a really long autumn. Enjoy the snow and keep warm. :)
I live in WA too (Spokane) and we got a LITTLE snow here but not a lot, probably a foot total throughout the entire season but currently it's kinda cold and full of dirt lol It was a nice break from the large amount of snow we (almost) always get every year.
dyingmessenger I'm in Yakima and we have barely had a dusting all season. I was up on Snoqualmie pass on Sunday and it is almost bare. Thankfully Lake Kachess is full. However, Rimrock lake, up by white pass isn't so lucky. Yakima is going to be a hot spot this summer and not in a good way.
We had a dusting in wenatchee, but definitely not much!

You shared one of your crock pot chicken recipes a while back and it is seriously one of our favorite meals!! We have had a really warm winter here in Utah, too. Isn't it strange what our bodies go through after having a baby?! My hair falls out in massive clumps and I get a horrific bald spot that takes a good year to grow back! Hey Candice! the crock pot has definitely been a lifesaver these days! :D And I'm starting to notice some of the hair loss too. You're right-- the baby makes it all worthwhile! :) I suppose I'd be surprised if some strange things didn't happen after your body goes through so much! haha!
I'm also from and Utah and it's crazy. I bought a new jacket for what I thought would be a harsh winter and I used it maybe 3 weeks and then switched back to my normal sweaters. Love it but at the same time home doesn't feel like home without snow in the winter
Maria Martinez I'm in saltlake and I did the same thing. Bought a really nice big winter jacket once fall got chilly and now I have only used it twice. I want snow! Not just so I can wear the jacket but because I don't feel like I am at home either :(

hi! I Just found your channel one or two days ago and I absolutely adore you already. I like your energy, the vibe you put out and the fact that you are so natural. I just started getting into make up (I'm 30!!!) and sometimes when I'm watching beauty videos I feel discouraged because I don't like it when makeup totally changes your face, you know? Like when you see a "get ready with me" vid and the before and after look like twi completely different people. But you don't do that. The way you apply your make up makes you look natural and it accentuates your beat features and that is exactly what I want to achieve. Anyway, thank you for sharing!

I wished we got snow! The last time I saw "snow" (it was more of a slushy rain) in southern Louisiana was 8 years ago. This is why I need my northern vacations!

I live in Upstate New York and the snow just won't let up! We have had one of the coldest winters in a long time here and the snow piled at the end of my driveway is taller than me. At my school it is taller than some of the buildings! It is very beautiful here, though. Especially if you can manage to stay inside!

My daughter has a really oily scalp & after trying so many products, I bought her the Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo. After a few uses, her scalp has been doing really well. Her hair & scalp don't get oily anymore.

I'm in boston and let me tell you - snow is becoming a curse up here!! Here we have snowbanks that can be up to 10 feet tall , I wish we only had 6 inches! Lucky Illinois!!!!
The Rimmel matte BB is fabulous for oily skin, pretty much the only BB I can wear and my go to base all last summer. Good coverage yet still a natural finish, sets, stays all day.
Great video, I have a little chuckle when I hear someone call a 6 inch snow fall a snow day. This is a sprinkle for us in Eastern Canada. We got 56 cm (25.45 inches) of snow last Sunday over to Monday morning here in Moncton New Brunswick, it was a blizzard. They got 86 cm (39.09 inches) over in Prince Edward Island. So far we have around 225 cm (102.27 inches) of snow on the ground. The snow bank in front of my house is about 12+ feet high, cause the snow has to be blown off the driveway and street to allow cars to circulate. This year is particularly heavy in snowfall, but we are used to 3-4 good blizzards a season. Whether it snows 6 or 25 inches, I still have to get to work, so I go as long as my street has been plowed, sometimes I'm late like I was on Monday, cause there was 2 feet of snow on my street til 10 am. It's a big job for the city, cause the snow needs to be taken away with trucks, cause there is nowhere to put it and it is unsafe. Drivers can't see for oncoming traffic at street corners, stuff like that. Anyway, just wanted to give you an idea of what it's like in a place where it snows a lot. It's great in a lot of ways, but a concern for everyday life and in emergency situations like when someone needs an ambulance that can't get there.
I have oily hair and I mix epsom salt into my shampoo once a week. Also, sometimes I mix baking soda with the shampoo instead and then when my hair is lathered up I pour a little apple cider vinegar over it and work it in. Then rinse and condition the ends. Hope that helps!

Your eyes are gorgeous!!! After applying the blue they really popped! It's always a good idea to get baby used to doing small things like dinner at this age, that way when they get older, they know how to "behave" in those settings lol. My mom did it with us and we started taking my son to dinner at Belle's age as well!

Here in Kentucky we were hit with almost 15 inches of snow OVERNIGHT. Now, we're experiencing record breaking lows, tonight its supposed to be -17! Then, Saturday when its FINALLY supposed to warm up, a rain storm is coming through and theyre already warning us of possible flash floods! We can't catch a break this week! Ive been stuck in the house for 3 days, and no hope of getting out until at least Saturday!
Same thing happened to me when I had my kids. Except it happened toward the end of my pregnancies. The best thing for me was also to use a 2-1 shampoo and conditioner. :) also it helped for me to wash my hair in the morning. Good luck momma!!!
The trick with the Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Glow Powder is to either scratch the surface with something sharp or be patient and let your make up brush eventually break through the surface. I'm not sure what kinda of film is on the surface but I've heard people have the same issue with the Nars one as well. Once I broke through the surface on my Sonia Kashuk one, I absolutely loved it. The consistency is really velvety and it gives a great glow underneath the eyes.

So happy I found this vid, recently bought the Gilded Gold palette and wasn't sure how to use it. I love that there's a nice matte selection plus the pretty shimmers. Thank you for this GRWM, it helped me so much, I was really stumped on how to use that shadow palette but now I'm so excited!
I had the same problem after having my kids. My hair got super oily but I have bad reactions to most dry shampoos. What helps me is the Biolage Normalizing Clean Reset shampoo. I also have to be careful to only put conditioner on the lower third of my hair and not on the scalp.

Put a teaspoon of baking soda in with your shampoo for clarifying , and you can also do a vinegar rinse!

I had the greasy hair during my last pregnancy. I hated it! It went away right after I had my daughter but then I experienced hair loss...big time. TFS!
I struggle with oily prone hair myself. I nixed conditioner and only use head and shoulders shampoo when I wash my hair. And now as I have pretty long hair I use a leave in conditioner and some hair oil at the ends of my hair right after I wash my hair and dry it off a bit. Only using shampoo over the past few years, I only have to wash my hair every other day compared to every day. :)
Hey dear...I went through the same thing with my hair...and surprisingly enough the extra stickiness comes with less conditioner use. Leave your hair with olive oil for two hours and then wash with your shampoo...use a little bit of conditioner after that....My hairs were back to normal in 3 washes....
If your hair is oily, you can reverse wash it, so first wet your hair and apply conditioner then shampoo it and rinse. It doesn't leave your hair dry or tangly, I suppose it depends on the shampoo and conditioner but it makes you hair last maybe a day longer between washes, I've been doing it and I find my hair just feels a lot cleaner for longer. I'm loving the blue liner by the way, it really suits you!

If you're experiencing very oily hair I know it sounds gross but try not washing it as often. You can try a gentler shampoo or no shampoo at all. Just rinse with water in the shower.
Sometimes if you're scalp is producing more oil it is trying to overcompensate for how much its being washed.

Love all your vids so much feels like real honest opinions and I love that your not a product snob and give the good and the bad no matter the price point or brand name I come to your channel when I'm curious about a product. Also don't know if this helps but I was told that if you have oily hair to not put your conditioner on or close to your scalp its like having oily skin on your face and using a heavy moisturizer all your oils will come to the surface.
Ooh, your melasma is looking so much better, almost gone! You have such lovely skin, the texture is like perfect! I absolutely love this look. Blue is my favorite color, but can sometimes be a little hard to approach in eyeshadow. This is a perfect way to do it. You're gorgeous. Love your channel. :)
I'm from NC, we got 2-4" of snow on Monday night/Tuesday morning. Our kids our still out of school and probably won't go back until Monday. It's crazy in NC when snow comes this way. Love the tutorial :)

Its crazy how things about you change after having a baby. I have always had stick straight hair... Could never get it to hold a curl and now after two kids my hair has a natural wave to it and im having to learn what to do with my hair all over again!
I have a love hate with my waves lol I know I will like them more once i figure out what to do with them......my kids are 3 and 1 so my waves are very new!

Oh yeah I remember those days my little girl used to always fall asleep everywhere we went and right when we get home she'll wake up but enjoy those days cuz now she's not bad bad but when she was here already 4 years old but when she was a little younger she was just want to go eat and then you just want to go home now she does that just be when she finishes eating she wants to go home so enjoy what you have right now
You should try Clear brand shampoo, I had the same issue with excessive oil production after my second son was born and this solved it immediately. It's a great product, and I'm still using it years later.
6 inches and things are closed?! Man, I am from Mass and we have about 100 inches total right now. State driving ban was put in place only when we had a 2 foot storm. Hopefully those 6 don't give you too much trouble ;)

Boston is crazy !! We are right now at #2 snowiest winter ever with I think just over 96 inches on the ground. Yep. In the last 3 weeks! Its crazy! And on Sunday this week we may get another! Yikes!
