It's really funny that Dev inquired if John was kind of a jealous person because many of his songs kind of had that feel. Well, John actually wrote a song titled, "Jealous Guy" which he wrote post Beatles! 😊
It's also harder for the unfamiliar to distinguish the voices on this album because John, Paul and George are all singing on every song and sometimes harmonizing at vocal levels that match the lead vocalist. It's my favorite Beatles album for harmonies. They never did harmonies quite like this before or afterwards. This was a very special transitional album.
No ukulele on "Girl" 😂😂. John is on acoustic guitar and what sounded to you like a ukulele is George on a 12 string acoustic guitar. "Girl" is just many highly underrated Beatles gems. That's a beautiful, great song. "In My Life" Wow! That's all time great stuff there. John was at the top of his game on this Lp. Peace ❤❤
although the lead vocals are iconic the back up oohs and ahhs along with harmonies are just right on and maybe don't get noticed as much. I feel Paul's solo sings still used alot of this. I think the harpsichord sound on "In My Life " was a sped up piano part by George Martin?
Maybe I'm just good at recognizing voices but it's always crazy to me how people have such a hard time picking out who is who lol. They all sounded pretty distinctive in my opinion even when I first got into them. But also I'd say maybe you're distracting her a bit from the music with this game you keep playing 😂
John has a Solo song called,” Jealous guy”
He wrote a lot of songs about his insecurities
I love the Greek style instrumental in Girl - and John's voice of course

Great song
'If I Needed Someone' is the only George Harrison written song the Beatles ever performed live.
And the older I get, the more 'In My Life' gets to me.
Nice reaction package. Frijoles frios, niño, niña.
Here, have some 🍰

John referred to this album as the “ Pot “ Album.

A Lennon song of his solo years is: Jalouse guy
"Girl": I'm watching her to see her reaction to the lyrics, but she's talking instead of listening.

As good as Rubber is, Revolver rocks harder IMHO.
Yes probably. But it does lack in Melody from John at times
I don't think you got the words 'tit tit tit tit' in the chorus of 'Girl'!
😂 Oh yeah
