Via that move order sometimes it will stay neo-gruenfeld a lot of times it will transpose to regular gruenfeld. DOn't think too much about it, it just means variation still undecided.
I prefer 3.Nf3 because d5 is not good (cxd5, Nxd5 e4 and black can’t take on c3) so blacks have to play c6 and d5 after. I can recommend « King’s Indian & Grunfeld » from Boris Avrukh where he talks about the Fianchetto KID and the Neo Grunfeld
Another great video, great and different ideas from yesterday's setup! Thanks for the in depth coverage of this great defense
According to my engine 3. Nf3 is also considered Neo-Gruenfeld.

1. d4 - Nf6, 2. c4 - g6, 3. f3 for either a Neo-Grunfeld or a Samisch King's Indian.
thank you

Why don't you except challenges on lichess , when I challenged you declined it
Because I have a lesson at the moment. Often when I'm online on lichess, I am either working or studying and not playing or looking for games.
