My favourite legion, chapter and succesor chapters. Iron Hands are the most forgotten legion. Some fans of wh40k don't even know about them. Everyone talks about Iron Wariors and forgets about our loyal and unbroken Iron Hands!
*"If fighting is all there is, if we may never pause to reflect on what such devotion to strength is doing to us, then our compulsion will only grow. Already I see the madness that path leads to, and so I shall excise the silver from my hands. In doing so I shall weaken myself and my sons, but nonetheless it must be done. The hands are strong, and have created great things, but they are not mine."*
For me the Iron Hands are a chapter that perfectly encapsulate greif. Their Primarch was the first to fall, and since then they have delved into cybernetic 'enhancement' to find the strength to persever. Yet in reality they use it as a crux. Their desperate attempts to expunge their emotions and think only rationally is nothing more than them cowering from any sort of closure for over 10,000. And as a chapter known for their indeference to the subjects of the imperium, it has cost them their humanity.
i recently finished the primarchs book about him, and it only re inforced my belief that ferrus and his legion were meant to portray strenght from the start and to cover themselves in iron only because they in fact were not the strongest really, the Iron Hands were meant to exist alongside the Iron warriors and the salamanders, or at least that was the Emperors idea or what ive colledted and read through the years, Ferrus himself was beaten by fulgrim multiple times, to the end the story of Ferrus had made me feel sad for all that was lost and could have been, because despite his Iron will and warrior skill Ferrus and Vulkan were maybe the purest hearted primarchs, also Sanguinius of course
Great work man! You really nailed the spirit, resolve and sheer force of will of the tenth Legion and Primarch. Love what you did with the editing, the Gorgon appreciates good craftsmanship ;)
Absolutely amazing work. I always liked the early ethos of the legion of suffering and strength so the imperium may prosper. Thank you for reminding me why I fell for this legion in the first place
The Flesh is Weak and Iron Prevails! The idea of this Legion helps me focus on Transhumanism. Ironically Manus himself didn't like that direction. Nonetheless: Break the cycle, rise above biology, focus on Transhumanism!
That's what makes the Iron Hands interesting to me. Ferrus Manus saw his hands merely as tools, a way of temporarily making him stronger, something he planned to discard when his fighting was finished. Instead of embracing this ideal, his sons decided to reject humanity and embrace the machine, they have it totally backwards from what Ferrus intended. A subtle, but devastating, tragedy of the Horus Heresy.
@@ashe274 In fact Perturabo was closer to being Transhumanist as he remade his strength through technology before his fight with the daemon prince Angron. Some say the Iron Hands were insane, but had a sane Primarch while the Iron Warriors were sane, but got an insane Primarch. I do understand Perturabo became a daemon prince himself so that's a bit odd. I would understand if he became an obliterator that rivals daemon princes. Imagine Corax vs Perturabo.
So the Model and the book art is a little misleading. During their second and final fight Fulgrim had ForgeBreaker and The Blade of the Laer. Ferris had the reforged FireBlade and a Volkite pistol that he discarded before their fight.
Man so disappointment with myself I didn't discovered this sooner. Pd, I know the audio from the beginning is from the gorgon of medusa, but who is the characters that speaks?
@@warforge_jp he is one of the 3 Emperor’s Children I respect. Everyone knows Tarvitz and Rylanor, but old Arca deserves a little more recognition. He was such a good swordsman he would probably mop the floor with the likes of Lucius or Sigismund.

The iron tenth will never die, we are the hammer that forge the imperium
For the gorgon and the iron hands, many died and suffered but the iron hands stood firm, the flesh is weak, iron and death🦾🛠
Iron Prevails! Flesh Withers while Iron Serves Eternal!

If you haven’t made a tribute to the Adeptus Titanicus, the song choice I recommend is Colossus by Avatar.
just like the friendship of papa sang and angron :''v
Did Ferrus have his Hammer and a Sword when fighting Fulgrim? I’m unsure why the model only has him with one!?
yes, he had his Hammer but when Fulgrim came forth from the hill Ferrus discarded it and drew the blade
So the Model and the book art is a little misleading. During their second and final fight Fulgrim had ForgeBreaker and The Blade of the Laer. Ferris had the reforged FireBlade and a Volkite pistol that he discarded before their fight.
Fulgrim. The Illuminator Very informative, thank you both! Still gotta read Fulgrim, it’s on the list!

You're welcome. The book is very good. It turned me Traitor and a follower of Fulgrim and Slaanesh.
Impressive!
thanks friend, i hope you shared this with your bros
