Probably, today, is the best "organ trio" in the world
I love it whenever Peter, Larry and Bill find time to play together. Soooo good.
The title of this video refers to the trio's 2014 album "Ramshackle Serenade". The tune starting at 3:55 is Goldings' "Molto Molto" from their 2011 album "Live at Smalls".
just superb. all of them have their own special personalities on their instruments. no one plays like Larry and Bill. soooo soulfull. beautifully expressed music.
I love everything these guys have done
I love these guys: Goldings (just saw him with James Taylor), a genuine organ maestro; Bernstein, extending creative jazz guitar into the next millennium; and Bill Stewart (of Pat Metheny and John Scofield fame, among others), whom I believe truly leads the pack these days (and has for years) in delivering true virtuosity on drums, as Bernstein says, in service to melody and music. Now if we can just get them out again to the West Coast... :) Dr. Bob Weathers - Irvine, California
More please? Please MORE? :) PLEASE???!!!
I can listen to Larry comping all day long
God damn they're good!!
goddamn they ARE!!!!!
Best trio (imho), even if we can´t share it...
