Useful video, thanks. You can use a couple of M8 bolts through the threaded holes in the drum to remove it, no need for the pry bars potentially damaging the backing plate.
I watched this helpful video before changing the brake shoes on my 2011 Thailand built Navara D40 2.5 litre diesel. After removing the wheel I had to back off the adjuster rod to be able to slide the drums off. There's an access slot in the backing plate with a removable rubber cover. Thanks from Australia!
Well, technically, specifically with differential technology such as LSD it would be very complicated and unstable to position the brake system with a disc brake... That's what I'm assuming

I have a question. Why manufacturers make drum brake. Disk brake is much easier to replace brake pad for DIY guy like me?
