It's cause people CAN be nice to eachother.. You don't have to be selfish and self centred - but lots choose to be so.. Sorry wasn't trying to bring it down.. I was genuinely excited for him myself. Amazing 😊
The man probably had that for years and did not know who to leave it to. I know my sons would appreciate it but not every kid is into WW items. I think the sender knew that by sending it , it would be appreciated and well taken care of !
Such an exciting package. When we ordered our Fulton Armory M14, I ordered all of their original Vietnam surplus accessory packs and it felt just like that opening up. I especially love the field kit and tools that fit in the stock, and were still sealed in their 1968 envelopes. So cool.
My father gave me a M1922 M2 several years before he passed away and it has the original M1907 sling that he took off his Rock Island M1903 and put on it when he got the M1922. It is the most supple and broken in sling I have ever used. Seeing as how I learned to shoot on that very rifle and sling over 40 years ago, I know how to use it very well. He put a web sling on his Remington M1 when he got it from the CMP about 20 years ago and while it works, I much prefer the M1907. I even put a repro M1907 on the M1903 I built after rescuing the action from a Bubba build and rebuilt it using a CMP stock, with some slight modifications and hand rubbed finish. I gave that particualr gun to my eldest son on his 18th birthday and he has yet to find a modern rifle that can outshoot it, lol.
Nice present. Neetsfoot oil those slings. They will out last you. Nice K-Bar/Calumus fighting knife. I swapped out my leather scabbard for a fiberglass. Lasts forever.
I got a question, what’s your thoughts on the combat knife I got? All my info suggests it’s a WW1 bayonet cut down into a WW2 combat knife. I got it for $50 at a local auction. (I can tag you into the video if you want me to)
WOW!!!!...Right on William, very nice accessories!!🇺🇸🤠👍 very nice sight to say the least. Thanks for sharing your gift, William seems to be a very generous person.
This is really cool to see I have an original m1 carbine dated 1942 with the original buttstock mag holder with one original mag works great and ended up with my first deer with it
According to my Grandfather's experience in WW2 the Grenade launching sights are very accurate, the two grenades he had though were duds and did little more than knock some German Sargent on his ass and give a Lieutenant a major charlie horse since both failed to explode. He acquired a tommy gun not long after that incident and decided to stick to thrown grenades.
You should check out the military museum in Massachusetts it has many WW2 stuff to look at I went there not to long ago staff is very nice and I recommend if you can check it out
Wow, the guy who sent these things in must have spent big $$$ on all of that. Garands and their associated accessories are really hard to find and when you do find them, they are $$ expensive $$ .
Cool I have a couple of the bandages in the metal can un-opened in the small webbing pouch they came in. I need to get them out of the shed and send them your way.
Besides Pasta And Macaroni From Rice.. or Cakes and Pizzas.. Rice , Boiled Steamed, BOILED Salted And Then Fried. Boiled And Dried Without Salt or Sugar. Boiled Steamed In Oil And Sugars..
I have an old Ww2 combat knife that was a german k98 bayonet that was remade in the new model 1953 Bulgarian combat knife k98 (M1953). It even has the original number.
The raiders did some crazy mission up a shear cliff face to destroy some cannons up top. They probably used some unique equipment to make that haul. Might be cool to see
Did they have more than one kind of grenade launching site? My buddy had something mounted on the side of his stock that he said was a grenade site but it didn't look like that. It was just the round piece of steel and was pretty sharp.
you can just see the pure happiness on this man’s face

World war wisdom is the best UA-camr no cap.
The M1907 sling is really cool. Theyre still used today depending on what theyre being used for. (Mostly National Match competitions)
That looks awesome! And where do you get your WW2 original stuff?
The answer would be everywhere! Antique stores, surplus stores, Ebay and auction sites! Along with the occasional militaria dealers.
@@Rascal_the_Raccoon Thanks!
Ebay is my supplier but WorldWarSupply is pretty good.
you get it from world war 2 lol

Man William is such a champ, what an awesome guy. We should all aspire to be more William. 🤝
Those are some great historical M1 rifle attachments. Thanks for sharing.

You need the specific jig to mount the g sight in the correct location , also works for the carbine !!!
That looks like the same exact web sling we still use in boot camp
William is really nice and I love your videos keep it up👍
I don’t believe I have ever seen a picture of an M1 in combat with the grenade sight installed.
Where do you get your stuff
Thanks for the awesome content, keep it up man!

1 ten cent grease pot. 😊 Gone are the days when you could buy a box of 144 of them for $5.
Nice box of goodies!

Looks like my GI Joe stuff from the early 1970's. LOL
Nothing wrong with that.😎
Nothing like M1 Garand from some Army surplus stash for 200 $.

The grease pot is post war the way you can tell is the grease is a dark brown colour and it says grease, M1 on the cap

My M1 has the mounting divots for the gernade sight. Ive been trying to get them for a while
Love ya vids you have helped me learn so much history
I love how the en-bloc clip has wood in block form en the clip
The Normandy map is pretty cool.
I have a genuine 1942 or 1943 WWII army Shovel that belonged to Franzier and I guess it has seen war too.
My grandfather just has navy maps in his closet, like in tubing, idk why
Surprised some of that stuff went through the mail 😂
Damn. You literally just got 100.000$ worth of gear lol
Make a vid about the grenade sight
I have a Dutch reproduction of a M1 Garand bayonet from the ‘50s
That sight is worth more if left wrapped in the cosmoline and paper. But if you mount it soak the sight in lacquer thinner. It dissolves cosmoline
Very cool. Carry on.
😍I love history this is amazing
Thats not a grease pot, thats that old school oil your gramps used to smoke
so i take it that there will be a vid of you launching (training) rifle grenades and detailing on the sight soon?
