I’m super late to the party! 😂 great tutorial and looks so easy but I’m a little confused. The note said cut about an inch away from collar, but it looks a lot closer than an inch away from collar? I also wasn’t understanding what you meant when you were referring to your fingers as part of the instructions…
Would this cut also work for off the shoulder of just one shoulder?
Thank you in advance to anyone replying with their knowledge and assistance. I really should just find some old shirts to practice on before attempting on the new shirt 👚 I’m anxious modify.

I would fold it on the inside a bit and stitch it up to be safe, but that doesn't look like material that would unravel.

cut approximately .5 inches away from the collar on all sides using a sharp scissor after laying on a flat surface

.5 to 1 inch depending on how far off you want it to go. it will stretch over time
