After serving in the military alongside people from many different places and many different backgrounds and cultures, I came to the realization that EVERY kind of music has a purpose. I never felt more excitement than being in a car full of friends ready to turn up, and just bumping some hard beats on the way to the club on the first Friday night off work after getting back from a deployment. It's indescribable. And now, here it is, a rap in it's most powerful form. A message to the establishment, on behalf of the people. Not one culture or particular group of people, but the people united. The more we stand together and tell these assholes we know what's up, the more their grasp on the narrative slips away. America always finds a way to pull through in the darkest hours, and THAT is why this is the greatest country on earth.
