My old school has like 600 people, and that's P-12 all in one building, and the d&d club my friend started now has so many players that they're running like 3 10-player campaigns
No I fully laughed lmao what kind of STRENGTH does this character possess that he can do that?? What would a 20 get him? Wonder Woman’s whole ass invisible plane??
It made me SO curious about the character. He’s clearly specialised in magic but it must be his most built part tools included. Some type of elemental air, weight/gravity or even dragon spirit magic? Must be useless in dungeons and tombs but what an open area CHAD dude
I never knew the lack of context, the neglect of basic DND spell research, and the weird approach to the game can cause the word "wand" to become actually uncomfortable
@@haybale287 Jarvis made a couple videos on it but Dhar Mann's actors are (were?) protesting him for crappy pay and scheduling, and instead of being receptive and making changes he just ignored it and moved on. It's worth a watch

I actually DM for a party of 8 people, figured I’d pop in and mention that doing world building is one of my favorite parts! I love just getting a random idea for like, a god or something, and just immediately message my co-dm and add it to our ever growing lore document. Will the players ever meet this god? No. Does that stop me? Also no. And as for map making, I actually have players who are into that kinda thing and just do that for me, which makes my life easier. But anyways, you mentioned jokingly that it seemed like homework, but from my perspective, it’s a lot more like working on a fun personal project of mine! I doubt this actually matters or anyone cares, but I thought I’d throw in my two cents as a DM :)
This is exactly how me and my friend run our campaign lol, we just make up shit as we go along and have random intricate lore that the party will most likely never come across.
@@lanceelliott2504 The way it works for me is that at some point before the actual session takes place, me and my co-dm will get on call for a few hours and plot out the session and how it’s going to work and split up the different npcs to play. For the most part, I handle the general dming like combat and stuff (my co-dm is virtual while my party is irl so it’s a bit easier that way), but generally they act as a fellow brainstormer, planner, and voice actor! I think a lot of the time it’s just up to the people to decide how to split things up, but yeah, that’s how it works for me. Hopefully that’s helpful!
I've watched so many of these bingo videos in the past week trying to distract myself from insomnia, semi-conscious and fading in and out of sleep, soon Dhar Mann is going to become my Hat Man.
Imagine having no awareness of how MTG, DnD, and video games are the most dominant parts of culture right now and rarely ever are a reason for bullying. Good ol' Dhar
Currently in HS, the D&D club is one of if not the largest club with at least five different campaigns at any given time. It’s not considered nerdy by any person I’ve met and even if it was my school is large enough that the people that play it and the people that think it’s ‘nerdy’ don’t ever clash
@@emperorkiron3470 Fam, where are you at? I'm assuming your in America and if so what state 😅 if anything cringe culture has basically over-ridden the place over here in NC.

Idk if this is a hot take or not but the dad just made me cringe. Not because of how nerdy he is but because of how pushy and unaware he was; he reminded me of the mom from the Wimpy Kid movies lol Also 1:01:44 is peak Jordan content
My nieces be clowning on me for no reason and it's honestly not that hard to deflect and to also realize that they're just all talk. From the perspective of an adult, you realize that most kids just speak without a filter. The stuff they say really holds no weight because they don't think about what they're saying before they say it. I mean, I used to think people picked on me a lot for no reason, but if I remove myself from myself as a child, I was annoying and I also was one of the kids who just said whatever without thinking. A lot of people don't realize they might have been the bully when they were kids and that's why you'll see a lot of anti-bullying adults be one of the mean kids from school.
I knew a girl in hs who was really mean. She tutored me and would call me dumb or tease me about not being able to get the material. One day I snapped and basically called her a bitch and she was so hurt. She really hadn't realized she was being mean, and we were able to have a conversation about the things she did that bothered me. We're now really close friends, she's a wonderful person, and she stands up for people who are being bullied. That said if I saw the girl who gave me a concussion in middle school touting the anti-bullying campaign, I would lose my mind
the pneumonia thing with william henry harrison did actually happen! it wasn’t necessarily directly connected but it is true that he gave a long speech underdressed for the weather and then shortly after got pneumonia and died
I hate when DND players in series/movies are shown to like always wear their costume or such, but if I ever saw it done irl I’d love it so much. I just hate how it’s done in media 💀
I bought a dollar store mask and drew scales on it for my character, who was a locathah. I am not going to buy an entire outfit just to be a character who's gonna die in like, 3 sessions.
I've only had a player wear a costume once for the D&D game I run. Granted, it was a game we were playing on Halloween. It was also during the middle of the pandemic in 2020 (we were all playing online via video call) so they decided to wear a plague doctor costume to be funny.
I know that the kid's dad was definitely overbearing, but I'm actually so jealous that he has SOMEONE to play D&D with specially irl. 😭 No one I've ever met in person even knows what D&D is, in my country we don't have clubs in school and the few D&D online sessions I've joined were so bad and awkward because nobody knew each other... I wish I grew up playing mediocre D&D with my family. ☹ Thanks for another amazing bingo, Jarvis (and Jordan)! Sorry for the rant! 😅
this video was mostly comparing the main character to different actors and i love it on a serious note, the mc did a good job tbh and the principal always has fire fits

I was sitting here in crisis trying to figure out if that shirt was intentional irony or if someone behind the scenes was just like, "Here, nerds like anime, right? Wear this Anime Boy(tm)."
Speaking as someone who was in high school not the long ago (like 5 years ago) the nerdy teachers and the subs that made an effort were always the favorites.
Idk much about D&D but my sister does, and we watched this video together and she loved it. She was just like Jordan, pointing out a bunch of stuff. Also, thanks to you guys, (that joke about the guys character name), she's naming her next character "Magical David".
It's so funny to me that Dhar Mann is picking on D&D as nerdy in this video; I have actual kids (not 20+ year olds) in this age range and D&D is having a huuuuge resurgence thanks to Stranger Things. A D&D club just started this year at the middle school and so many kids showed up (and have stayed on) that they have I think five or six different campaigns going to accommodate everyone, plus they pick up new kids pretty regularly. Also, fun fact, my middle kiddo is one of the DMs and she wears a Hobbit cape/cloak to school every time they have D&D club, lol. I'm told everyone thinks it's awesome, including teachers and kids that aren't in the club. :D
This was actually kind of a decent episode of Dhar Mann. The bullies I think were too over-the-top but other than that, I found myself weirdly engaged in it. 😂
I love how Dhar Mann didn't even glance at DnD rules before making this. Yeah uhh let me cast my uhhhhhh "completely negate your setup" spell that I have, it's a cantrip, has infinite range and I can cast it as a bonus action if I pretend to roll for it, it's in the addon book that just came out, you probably don't have it.
A video about loving your parents for being dorky with you is good and all but it's easy. It would have been more impressive to make a video about how when kids get older they need to learn how to set certain boundaries with people especially their parents. A video about a healthy conversation would be greatly appreciated.
To be fair, Pokemon was always complicated for me because everyone that would teach me how to play made up different rules, and I didn't have the internet then. It was like trying to play Uno with five different groups of people at the same time and one was doing 7-0, the other jump-ins, stacking +2s, etc..
dharr mann should start a live d&d campaign with all the actors as players rotating in and out, idk if it would be lucrative but i want it very badly for some reason
I've always lowkey wanted my dad to play d&d with me (and my siblings lol) because he's the reason i'm into that kinda stuff anyway, the dad in this video is kinda cringe but he's so precious and I love his character :')
I like the caricatures Jarvis and Jordan have created in this one. The “dude” who would say “yo mama look like a hippogriff” is their own identity separate from Jarvis, and I would definitely get IHOP with that man. Just once, but it would be entertaining for sure
I just realized. In every single dhar mann video the kid that’s getting bullied just. Sits there and makes a face. And doesn’t stop themselves from being insulted. They wait til the bully is done with their whole bit THEN go “leave me alone” you already sat there while they insulted your interests for 30 straight seconds why would they stop now????
I refuse to believe that any American school would genuinely consider a paintball club as an official activity. Not a CHANCE they're even gonna consider endorsing ANY even toy gun related activity in this the year of our lord two thousand and twenty whenever this video was made
The thing with the dad is that for my schools I've gone to, you need a teacher to supervise every club. We have a dnd club and that's supervised by a teacher, so it REALLY wouldn't be weird for the dad to participate in the club
@@EllieBelle1993 true, though he did say the principal said he's staying for longer. Which I have no clue how tf that would work but I think it would??? Idk lol

Jordan correcting and criticizing all the d&d things kept me sane. Also why do people always think everyone dresses up for d&d? 💀 I've dressed up twice for d&d, once because we had a one shot where mine and my friend's characters got married and we thought it would be fun to dress up a little. And the other time was when (after part of our group's characters got stuck in a hell dimension where our clothes got changed to weird outfits) we had one player photoshop cowboy hats onto all our character tokens for us without our DM knowing and we all showed up to the session wearing cowboy hats, and our DM was very confused. Both of these instances were from games played online. It would get old pretty fast if I dressed up every week for d&d lol.
One of my best friends would make dice towers out of Legos and various items with his sons. Then he'd use whatever tower they'd built together for the D&D campaign that weekend. Super adorable.
I love Jordan’s nerd wind-up noises that are just him smacking his lips and exhaling. That’s how you know he’s about to drop absolute bars. 1:01:45 I would also like to point out that the initiative order is absolutely jacked up. He cast, the monster attacked, and then he cast again?????
These genre of bullies are clearly written by someone who didn't realize why they were bullied, blaming it on their niche hobbies instead of just being neurodivergent or something.
I love that every Dhar Mann video involving a high school just reveals that Dhar hasn't had even the slightest idea what kids are like since the 80's, despite making content exclusively for kids
That dad looks like the best dad out of all the dads If i had a dad like that honestly i would not need anything else Just me and my dad Playing dnd edit: except for the teacher part edit 2.0: unless he apologizes
He is a fun dad, he just doesn't know what boundaries are. His son getting bullied in front of him, and instead of doing the teacher thing of shutting the bully down, he just goes and acts like an overly energetic dad
when i dm i get really into the homework aspect of making supplemental material & writing original content and it is absolutely soul crushing when the group doesn’t try to get into it
I was so confused I thought this kid was rolling investigation to use his light spell and I was like- excuse me what?? But then I realized he meant he was going to roll for investigation after lighting up the cave although he should've waited for his dad to describe the now brightened cave before investigating something specific so I'm still not convinced Dhar Man and his team know the ins and outs of DND
My dad was a math teacher (and more of a sci-fi dork), but I got to befriend a couple of his students, completely by chance, and they loved him. Having a weird dorky dad isn't bad, even if everyone in school makes fun for you about it. I promise you'll miss him more than the bullies.
He is probably a fun teacher to be around, for everyone except his son. Dude doesn't know how to treat his son at school, also really doesn't seem to deal with bullying
@@JinStreamsThat can happen, when I was 11 my math teacher was a former student of my dad's, the pressure was fully on. But yeah I get your point, some teacher parents aren't great with their kids, I was just still heavily grieving my dad, (still kind of am tbh) and I think I just got a bit defensive.
I had a US History professor who dressed up for every Tuesday class (it was an online hybrid class). She was 30 and had *quality* 🤌 outfits. It was “Civil War Era to Present.” So she dressed in a gorgeous flapper dress one week, and the next she was dressed as a trench-coat-wearing, hair-tucked-into-hat, jangling-change-in-a-mug, Depression Era beggar. She wanted us to really get into the times. She used a little cosmetic “dirt” to distress her coat and face for a few grimier decades. She didn’t go to Party City; she had real garments. She entered from “offstage” when class started (either the top of the stairs at the back or at the bottom of the auditorium). It seemed effective. In my Texas History class, I saw a guy several rows in front of me open 6 Snapchat videos that his buddy sent him from a strip club. At 10 a.m. That professor complimented my note taking (before a movie) and gave me a signed copy of her book she published that year called “Slow Takes A Long Time” (about her ongoing journey and lessons with her adopted and mentally disabled son)

Nowadays especially in smaller schools it’s not popular. I mean at my school you won’t get bullied for liking it but barely anyone plays
My old school has like 600 people, and that's P-12 all in one building, and the d&d club my friend started now has so many players that they're running like 3 10-player campaigns
D&D is the MOST popular tabletop rpg.
@@genericname2747 imagine they made this video but it's d&d players bullying a pathfinder player
@@deckofcards Or even Pathfinder and D&D players bullying a Paranoia player, or Call of Cthulu player,
Jarvis and Jordan going on and off between TCG and DND knowledge while they roast how dhar mann added them into the video is great
I almost laughed when he levitated the whole party with a 14 😭😭
No I fully laughed lmao what kind of STRENGTH does this character possess that he can do that?? What would a 20 get him? Wonder Woman’s whole ass invisible plane??
It made me SO curious about the character. He’s clearly specialised in magic but it must be his most built part tools included.
Some type of elemental air, weight/gravity or even dragon spirit magic? Must be useless in dungeons and tombs but what an open area CHAD dude
“A nerd, but like, mean” is too relatable
“Beam me up McGonagall” made me laugh way too hard.
I never knew the lack of context, the neglect of basic DND spell research, and the weird approach to the game can cause the word "wand" to become actually uncomfortable
Jordan and Jarvis' conversation at 1:28 has aged so badly
Was looking for this comment
Late, but how come?
@@haybale287 Jarvis made a couple videos on it but Dhar Mann's actors are (were?) protesting him for crappy pay and scheduling, and instead of being receptive and making changes he just ignored it and moved on. It's worth a watch
YESSS I WAS HUNTING FOR THIS COMMENT
Honestly, it makes me think Jarvis, for all his good intentions, is really not as high-minded as his content might lead one to believe.
I still like him, but it's wild that he can't read the obvious bad vibes sometimes
@@emilyrasputinI never even heard about it being resolved. I genuinely don't know what the state of it is, and I don't want to go to that channel to check.
I doubt Jarvis will ever do a follow up, either. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to go back when he's cut something out.
Hey you never know when that world-building will come in handy!
8 people??? Goddamn, I can't imagine how hectic your sessions must be
How does co-dm'ing work? I wanna try dm'ing but I'm scared bc of a lack of experience and I think that'd help
I've watched so many of these bingo videos in the past week trying to distract myself from insomnia, semi-conscious and fading in and out of sleep, soon Dhar Mann is going to become my Hat Man.
this is so real
Fr. I joke with my friends that play it that they're 'nerds' (which isn't an insult coming from me, I call my cat a nerd affectionately), but in all honesty it's really cool that they can remember all the rules and stuff and I'm glad they're having fun
Absolutely loved it when Jarvis just let Jordan rant about D&D and hyped up his podcast. Glad that we can see videos with the both of you in person again
As someone who has been to school, every one with clubs had a DnD club with plenty of members
Cuz of stranger things, for sure. It's the same way with my school
We recently started a dnd club between my friend group and a dnd experienced teacher to supervise and we had to create 4 separate campaigns because there were too many people lol
@@mikuzillas yeah, makes sense, there's a DnD club at my school and we had to switch to holding it in the cafeteria, and we have at least 6 different campaigns going on at the same time
@@mikuzillas true always a teacher who's really into gets involved and other students will naturally join
My school had a "games club", most of the people in that club showed up for D&D, I mostly hung out to play other card games because I was too overwhelmed to jump into the game for the first time but now I'm kicking myself for not
Idk if this is a hot take or not but the dad just made me cringe. Not because of how nerdy he is but because of how pushy and unaware he was; he reminded me of the mom from the Wimpy Kid movies lol
Also 1:01:44 is peak Jordan content
yeah same like he was trying to be nice but he KNEW his kid was being made fun of at school but he publicly embarrassed him in class
Jordan lurking in the background like he's a villain being foreshadowed for this is really making my day
you guys play off each other so well, its always fun to see a joint vid
Those "kids" bullied jackson for liking dnd but jarvis and jordan bullied everyone in the video for everything
Good ol' Jarvis
Casual Bully vs Ranked Bully
I hate when DND players in series/movies are shown to like always wear their costume or such, but if I ever saw it done irl I’d love it so much. I just hate how it’s done in media 💀
Same
i think it’s cuz they usually dress them in the most bare bones public domain wizard costume LOL
The only time I've ever actually seen it happen is in one podcast, my group wanted to for a little bit but none of us had the time to make a costume
Hahahha Jordan, as an immigration attorney, I can very much confirm that yu-gi-oh is more complicated than immigration paperwork
this video was mostly comparing the main character to different actors and i love it
on a serious note, the mc did a good job tbh and the principal always has fire fits
That "IDIOT" from Jordan at 44:06 came from the soles of his feet and I am ROLLING
Dude why are all these teachers just standing by and letting this kid be bullied !!! Even his dad omg man is just standing there while everyone says he’s a dork and so is his son
when they said "i'm sure Gandalf is gonna send it soon" in reference to the Hogwarts acceptance letter, it made me mad lmao don't disrespect Gandalf like that again
22:20 why tf is he wearing a Bakugo shirt, Bakugo is literally a bully 😭
Cuz anime is for dweebs obviously
I was sitting here in crisis trying to figure out if that shirt was intentional irony or if someone behind the scenes was just like, "Here, nerds like anime, right? Wear this Anime Boy(tm)."
"Let's look at the board" "That's her name" that was so dumb I fucking lost it lmao
I think it's bc the main characters actually had a level of dimension to them
Memento mori

I love how Dhar Mann didn't even glance at DnD rules before making this. Yeah uhh let me cast my uhhhhhh "completely negate your setup" spell that I have, it's a cantrip, has infinite range and I can cast it as a bonus action if I pretend to roll for it, it's in the addon book that just came out, you probably don't have it.
Jarvis forgot that they were supposed to be playing bingo and just watched dhar mann
43:49
I think it’s so funny that he didn’t mention the boats being destroyed until now, instead of mentioning it when they get destroyed 😭😭
A video about loving your parents for being dorky with you is good and all but it's easy. It would have been more impressive to make a video about how when kids get older they need to learn how to set certain boundaries with people especially their parents. A video about a healthy conversation would be greatly appreciated.
Dhar mann? Healthy conversation?
Wrong place
The way Jordan perfectly channeled Dennis Reynolds with “IDIOT”
This is actually a surprisingly wholesome story for Dhar Mann
Me screaming at the video: YOU NEED TO ROLL INITIATIVE
Im triggered on how he light up the wand..what spell??? Idk i can light up the cave by being a pyromaniac and cast FIREBALL
To be fair, Pokemon was always complicated for me because everyone that would teach me how to play made up different rules, and I didn't have the internet then. It was like trying to play Uno with five different groups of people at the same time and one was doing 7-0, the other jump-ins, stacking +2s, etc..
My friend and I just put our cards on the floor in the line to make a story out of the art lol
dharr mann should start a live d&d campaign with all the actors as players rotating in and out, idk if it would be lucrative but i want it very badly for some reason
I've always lowkey wanted my dad to play d&d with me (and my siblings lol) because he's the reason i'm into that kinda stuff anyway, the dad in this video is kinda cringe but he's so precious and I love his character :')
Jordan fucking nailed everything I was thinking with the exact energy I was feeling. 10 for investigation? WHAT ARE WE INVESTIGATING?
10 FOR investigation, they’re investigating the 10 obviously
That one dude had internalized Poképhobia
Another one? We are getting spoiled
you gotta watch the streams they're so much fun
The darkest part of this is not the kid being bullied but the father absolutely having zero boundaries and no self awareness
The dude has like no professionalism, even with your kid, treat him like any other student. And especially not inviting another student to your home
It feels like you're projecting
I like the caricatures Jarvis and Jordan have created in this one. The “dude” who would say “yo mama look like a hippogriff” is their own identity separate from Jarvis, and I would definitely get IHOP with that man. Just once, but it would be entertaining for sure
I just realized. In every single dhar mann video the kid that’s getting bullied just. Sits there and makes a face. And doesn’t stop themselves from being insulted. They wait til the bully is done with their whole bit THEN go “leave me alone” you already sat there while they insulted your interests for 30 straight seconds why would they stop now????
Also it never really includes the kid trying to leave or "playing along" to get the bullies to move on
I refuse to believe that any American school would genuinely consider a paintball club as an official activity. Not a CHANCE they're even gonna consider endorsing ANY even toy gun related activity in this the year of our lord two thousand and twenty whenever this video was made
Also, a paintball club is definitely much more costly than a D&D club for a (more than likely underfunded) school to facilitate
I was waiting for the dad to say ‘im Abraham Lincoln if he slayed’
i went to acting school with the dnd guy. wild that this is when i next see him. love your videos jarvis
I'm so happy to see another Dhar Mann Bingo :D Dar Mann videos keep getting worse, but that just makes bingo better.
If someone told me they were in a paintball club it would be 10x more cringe than D&D
Why does this father want to single-handedly ruin his sons life
The thing with the dad is that for my schools I've gone to, you need a teacher to supervise every club. We have a dnd club and that's supervised by a teacher, so it REALLY wouldn't be weird for the dad to participate in the club
Well he’s a substitute so that doesn’t really work out, but I see what you mean
@@EllieBelle1993 true, though he did say the principal said he's staying for longer. Which I have no clue how tf that would work but I think it would??? Idk lol
I was listening to this while I was cleaning, and when I finally looked at the screen felt so surprised to see it wasn't splitscreen but that rather you two were actually in the same space, amazing, stunning, fantastic
It would get old pretty fast if I dressed up every week for d&d lol.
oh boy as a d&d fan i can’t wait to see how this kid ABSOLUTELY ANNIHILATES these bullies with the power of GOD and ANIME on his side
My man took 5 points of psychic damage when Jackie Boy dropped the lesson of the video 😂
One of my best friends would make dice towers out of Legos and various items with his sons. Then he'd use whatever tower they'd built together for the D&D campaign that weekend. Super adorable.
It's just now occuring to me, but I'm pretty sure this is essentially the plot of An Extremely Goofy Movie
1:40 "People at Dharr Mann studios generally have like...good experiences" yikes that aged poorly
That dad looks like the best dad out of all the dads
If i had a dad like that honestly i would not need anything else
Just me and my dad

edit 2.0: unless he apologizes
He is a fun dad, he just doesn't know what boundaries are.

42:03 LOSING IT AT JORDAN JUST GOING OFF. "OH, JUST A SPELL???"
when i dm i get really into the homework aspect of making supplemental material & writing original content and it is absolutely soul crushing when the group doesn’t try to get into it
I was so confused I thought this kid was rolling investigation to use his light spell and I was like- excuse me what??
But then I realized he meant he was going to roll for investigation after lighting up the cave
although he should've waited for his dad to describe the now brightened cave before investigating something specific so I'm still not convinced Dhar Man and his team know the ins and outs of DND

33:55 That music... That face... Bro bout to crash TF out.
As a dnd fan watching this makes me feel like I’m being called a slur 😭
I love the camera angle of the reaction cam because it looks like Jordan and Jarvis have achieved there final form by merging together into one entity
Every video with Jordan and Jarvis is incredible. They're so freaking funny.
